While not the most difficult game and basically a straight HOG/Adventure type game what makes this game stand out is the puzzles that you have never seen anywhere else. Even more than the story line, you want to keep playing to find out what the developers have up their sleeves next. How refreshing it is to play a game that has game after game with a unique challenge never seen before. Thanks to the developers for taking the time to include fresh games within Phenomenon City of Cyan. It sets this game apart from others and makes it well worth the time of playing in a genre that is growing.
The history upon which this story is based could have been an interesting and different basis for this genre of game... but the game itself is weak. The graphics are a real handicap to game play. Games are either obtuse or easy and HOG is adequate. All is all, it is not a game I will be buying as it isn't the quality we have come to expect. Even beginners should pass.
I don't recommend this game.

I have been playing this game since it was released at least 10 times per day. That is a staggering number of plays and easily the most played game I own. I have always found challenge commensurate with the level I wish to play as the variety is broad. New games are being submitted by players daily giving fresh challenge from which to select. No other mahjong game has been able to compare. There is truly no reason to play another.
I immediately bought this game for two compelling reasons. One, I am a huge fan of this series and have bought each to enjoy the thrill of traveling around the world. Secondly, having lived the in the UK, I couldn't wait to revisit the landmarks with which I am so familiar. The game stays true to the formula established in the franchise bringing the British flare in straightforward fashion. No surprises here. I was so thrilled, I bought London Story as well!
With yet another engaging challenge, Elephant Games firmly establishes itself as a premier developer in the Casual Game genre. Grim Tales: The Legacy is a gripping complex game that has the distinction of being easy to navigate. Few games have so successfully combined challenge with reasonable mapping. Not only are you given the destinations to jump to but the tasks yet to complete through a pop-up, while not creating compromise to challenge or plot development. Bravo! I was thoroughly engaged for the 5+ hours it took to complete the SE version of the game.

What a superb game from Elephant Games. This is definitely the best game I have played this year. Not only are the graphics and storyline excellent, but the game has whimsy. It is refreshing to play a game where the developers have take the extra time to include cleverness in details where it was not necessary. You just have to take your time and enjoy the subtle and not so subtle humor and innovation built into the game. It sets this game above the competition. I appreciate the effort the design team took to give us such a pleasurable gaming experience.
I recommend this game!

I'm an experienced player and I got a kick out of this game. It is a nice departure from the dark ones of late. It is straight forward HOG with fun departures. Granted, it is a bit of a "knock-off" of others which I did enjoy more. But, all in all, an enjoyable experience.
