This game is great fun. Beautiful graphics. After you build something, you get a 360 degree view of it which I find to be charming and fun. I like the power ups. The voice overs are very good, even though the character's mouths do not move when they speak. Very good tutorial. I could list some other things, but just suffice to say that I have no criticisms of this game. It's a total 5 star game for me in every way. Love love love.
I love FROGS and wish we had more of them, but I have some quick observations to make. I played the hour long trial version and bought the game. After it was installed in full, I opened it to continue. 1) I had to start the game over from the beginning. NOT happy about that. 2) The sound was totally funky - I could barely hear the spoken dialogue so I turned the sound up. But then everything else would come on so loud that it would blow me out of my chair. Complete inconsistency. 3) And lastly, this is a really really short game. I was astonished when it was over - shocked, even. I'm glad it was on sale because it was way too short to pay regular price for. I defer to others for a detailed description of game play.
I like solitaire so I tried the demo. It was immediately obvious that this is the same game as their previous ones. What's up with that? I agree that if you haven't played any of their solitaire games before, you'll probably like this; but if a developer is going to shove out the same game play over and over and over again, do not expect to keep any recurring customers. I bought one or two of these, but I definitely don't need the same thing the third or fourth time around. I was middle of the road on my ratings because it's an okay game unless you have already played identical versions of the same game. I'm disappointed in a developer with no imagination and I'm disappointed in Big Fish for offering so many of the same old game - especially in such a short period of time.
I thoroughly enjoyed Tower of God, so I was thrilled to see this follow up, Tower of Wishes. I won't go into lots of detail since that's already been done. My favorite part is getting the men to shoot their darts in order to keep the game moving. I also enjoy the mini-games that are sprinkled throughout the M3 segments. I am definitely hoping there will be a third game in this series. Of course it goes without saying that in a series the developer needs to kick things up a notch each time to keep it fun and interesting. I play games in the relaxed or untimed mode whenever available.
I played the demo and knew well before the time was up that it would definitely be a purchase for me.

I had my fingers crossed that we might get a new Cursed House at Halloween, but no such luck. So, I was thrilled beyond words to see it today. M3's do not get any better than Cursed House and the other M3's of the same type. I have all of them. I am always amazed that the developers consistently keep coming up with new features with each game when a series is as long as this one. There is always the familiar, but always something new to challenge your brain. My only problem is that I cannot stop playing, so it's over way too quickly. I rarely ever use the word "addictive," but it perfectly describes how I feel about Cursed House and similar games, of which there are not too many. These games are in rarefied air in the gaming sphere.

I got this CE version to add to my Faircoft collection because of the sale and it filled my punch card. Otherwise, I would have waited for the SE. I have never had any problems with the mini-games or clicking on objects in any of the games. I agree with another reviewer that the hidden objects are sometimes too well hidden. They are often very tiny or they can be hidden on the same color as the object I'm looking for - think black comb hiding on a black background. Occasionally, objects are almost impossible to see even when you use the hint button. That part of the game sort of bugs me. There is still an unbelievable amount of dialogue to get through, but thankfully the skip option is still available and the expressions on the faces of the "speaking" characters don't match what the conversation is. When I am trying a one hour trial, I do not want to spend the majority of the time reading huge amounts of dialogue. I want to learn about the mechanics of the game and how well they work - or don't. I was surprised to see another Faircroft game so quickly, but it doesn't seem inferior to the previous games - not better; not worse.
I agree with others in that the first Emerland was much better than this one. I loved the first one and was sad when the game was over. I will say one thing for this newest addition; it's gorgeous visually. This just doesn't cut it for a CE game. There isn't enough CE bling for me. I don't care about artwork, soundtracks, or wallpapers in any game. This one has an additional chapter, but that's not enough to make me want to pay the CE price, even on sale. It's also a bit of a bummer that there are no VO's - just moving lips and dialogue to read. Basically, I like the game and will be getting it when the SE is available. I'm on the fence about recommending the game. If you haven't played the first Emerland, it will be easier for you to be accepting of this game. I might recommend it as a SE game; but not as a CE game. You'll just have to try it for yourself, I guess.
I added this to my Clutter collection so now I have 10 out of the 11. There's never any question for me about buying it. I just play the demo for a few minutes and then hit the "buy" button. The games are fun and challenging, but I also greatly enjoy the narrative that Joe gives. It's fun and and insightful - a peek behind the scenes, sort of. To have this many games in a series and for them to remain entertaining and challenging is quite an accomplishment. I like the familiar stuff, but also look forward to the new stuff that I know will be added to each new offering. There have been a few types of the games that I pass over just because of eye strain, but I still play the vast majority of them. I don't play in timed mode. Retirement is all about fun and relaxation to me, not getting knots in my neck and shoulders trying to beat the timer. That's why I'm always glad when the gamer has the choice between timed and relaxed play.

I have the earlier Cave Quest and really enjoyed it so I was thrilled to see this new one pop up today. I played the demo and immediately purchased it. I won't go into a lot of detail since that has already been done by others. I really like M3's where you have to clear a path, but they seem to be few and far between. I don't usually like to pay the CE price for games like this, but gladly did that for this game since there are so many extra levels to enjoy. I also hope that we don't have to wait for such a long time to get another Cave Quest game.

This game surprised me for 2 reasons. We had a Faircroft's Antiques game earlier this month so didn't expect another one so soon. Also surprised to see a Christmas themed game toward the end of January. I liked the previous Faircroft game except for the huge overdose of dialogue. I finally just clicked on every dialogue screen w/o reading it since I enjoyed the basic variety of games. I great big shout out to the developer for giving the player a "skip" button so you can now skip all of that bothersome dialogue in this game. I really do l like games like this one that have multiple games rather than just a straight HO game. This is a kick back and relax game for me. Also it's getting toward the end of the month and I was happy to get 3 punches on my card. I'm giving this a 5 star rating because of the "fun factor" and also because of that wonderful skip button for the dialogue. I don't mean to insult the people who were tasked with writing all of that dialogue; but it's just too much for me.
