I am a Clutter fan and own several of these games. I am really enjoying some of the newest features and reading Joe's commentary after each level. Others have gone into great detail so I will not do that here. The only game style that I consistently skipped was the mahjong. It's not my favorite game anyway, but Joe has done a good job with it here. My skipping of those games is not a bad reflection on the game itself. I do not pay any attention to the timer. When the timer runs out I just click to continue each level at my own speed. This is another winner, in my opinion and I'm happy to add it to my other Clutter games.
This is a good basic TM game that I will be purchasing, There are two outstanding features - the characters are quiet and the developer is allowing the gamer to decide when they've had enough time to read the text and then hit the "continue" option. Stellar features to me. There are musical or some type of sound prompts when something happens on screen, but it's so delightful to have quiet characters. I wish more TM games had quiet characters instead of the constant, repetitive, irritating and boring chatter of characters every time you click on something, I made it through level 7 during the trial version. I always play games in relaxed or easy mode since I want to take my time and thoroughly enjoy a game. The graphics in this game are colorful and clever.

This developer has the magic touch that most devs do not. They are on #10 in a series and they are still fantastic games. Each game in the series has something new and fun without forfeiting the familiar. The games have a real charm about them, probably due in large part to the friendly and cute-as-ever ghosts. I like the new features in this one that have been amply described by other reviewers. I agree with the emphasis that concentrating on the coins is the road to success. Also, do not forget that there is a terrific help aide in the book in the upper left hand corner. These games have some unique features so that book comes in handy and is a "must read" especially for new players. I also very much like all of the little mini-games that pop up throughout the M3 games - mahjong, spot the difference, HO (which are truly one of a kind IMHO). I wish all devs could have a series of this length and still maintain the quality and up their game with each new installment. I was so very happy when I saw this as the new game on Monday, even though I did not receive my "Monday Bonus Punch" when I purchased it. Not happy about that, but thrilled with the game.
These reviews are extremely helpful when deciding whether or not a game is worth trying out. But in the case of a game where the star ratings are all over the place, you will probably just have to play the demo and decide for yourself. I'm glad there is a cache map with this game. Spending so much time looking for a little rainbow sometimes makes me crazy. This developer has done something here that I think is one of the biggest and dumbest mistakes most developers make - too much of the story text is on and off the screen in a matter of mere seconds and it's maddeningly impossible to read through it unless you read at the speed of light. I took a star off just because of that one factor. I've said so many times that I think the gamer should be the one to decide when they've had enough time to read the text - NOT the developer. If you think you will have time to read and closely follow the story line in this one, you will be highly disappointed! This game downloaded and ran perfectly on my laptop.
I am always drawn to anything that has an Egyptian theme. This is a fun M3. Chain matching isn't my favorite, but it works in this game. I like uncovering the "hidden" Egyptian artifacts. I also like having 3 types of game play since I usually prefer "relaxed." There is a good mix of obstacles, power ups, and boosters. The mini-game variations are also good. I don't normally care for "spot the difference" games, but I liked these. The only drawback to me is that you don't have a choice of decorations for the pharaoh's tomb. You use the one they give you when you earn it; but that's a small thing and certainly not a deterrent to purchasing the game since I just like decorating stuff by earning points or stars, etc. We've had two really good M3 games lately and they are totally different from one another. Thank you BF and thanks to reviewers who go into great detail when reviewing the games.
I'm a "ditto" on Pennmom's review on this one. I played for about 30 minutes and bought it. It's a bit unique and you do have to think about what you're doing. I also liked the many choices of customization. And several other things. Many of the recent M3 games releases have been pretty "blah," but this one "has some teeth to it." I really don't need a strong story line with a M3 game, so that's not a huge factor for me either way. This is a very strong 4-star game for me.
With great new graphics, unlockable videos and even more exciting challenges, you’ll love every minute of this amazing adventure through architectural history!

Since this is an older game, I won't go into a lot of detail since there are already ample reviews. Even though this game has been out for a few years, I just purchased it a couple of weeks ago. I kept seeing references to the Monument Builders series so I finally decided to check them out. I tried out about all of them. Some were wonderful while others were horrible (IMHO). I decided to make this one my first venture into the series and it was a great choice. I have thoroughly enjoyed it. I downloaded others that are similar to this one and I fully intend on purchasing them on a Monday now that the "Bonus Punch" feature has returned to Mondays. The others I plan to get are Cathedral Rising, Rushmore, Great Wall of China and Alcatraz. These games are great to mix in with my Match 3 and Solitaire games. I like to mix things up.

When I see mahjong games, I'm not interested; but I read the reviews and decided to give this one a try. It's a terrific game with so many different things to do. This mahjong is fun, as are all the other types of games. Spin the wheel and see what you come up with. Very well done game - imaginative with beautiful graphics. Others have given a lot of detail, so I won't need to do that; but I wanted to happily add my 5-star rating. This game was a definite purchase after playing the trial version.

I have one other game from this series. I was thoroughly enjoying the demo when I came upon the first mahjong game. I had to spend a ridiculous amount of time on it and wasted too much of the demo time on it. I am not a huge mahjong fan and when I had to replay it the third time - that was the death blow to this game. I uninstalled it pronto. Such a shame as I would have purchased the game otherwise. Either take the mahjong out or give me a "skip" option. Otherwise, no sale for me. Other than that, it's an enjoyable game. I'm on the fence about recommending it - if you love mahjong, you will feel differently about the game than I did.
I have all of the previous Cursed House games and was thrilled to see a new one today. Instant buy. These are always wonderfully crafted games. The developers always keep some of the old and familiar, but always add new and imaginative features. I believe that's one of the secrets to the success of a really good game series. The help guide in the upper left corner is always very good, too, and there are various ways to play depending on how much of a challenge you are looking for. Another hallmark of a great game series, IMHO. The hidden object scenes are ridiculously difficult, but I really enjoy them, too. I never ever listen to the music with any of my games, but I do listen to it on the Cursed Houses. There is something so beautifully haunting about it. That's saying a lot coming from me. There are no down sides to the Cursed House games. I am always so delighted when a new one comes out. Between Mystika 4 and this new Cursed House, I am in Match 3 Heaven!!
