I normally like the Dark Dimension games, but this one just fell flat. I should not have left it a couple days to write the review, as I can't even recall much of the game any more......says just how flat it was. Was quite a short game that lacked both story line and challenge. I'd likely recommend the SE version, but the limited extras in the CE are not worth the addition cost.

The Surface games have been very much a hit or miss.....and unfortunately this was a big miss for me. I just found the game to be bland and boring. There was one interactive hidden object that i remember, with all the rest being straight forward. No morphing items. The puzzles were ridiculously easy, even on the hardest mode. There were 12 collectibles hidden in the game, and a heap of flowers that didnt seem to do anything other than be collected. The bonus chapter was more of the same. Maybe recommend the SE version, but only if you are really bored.

What can i say.... The Revived Book is more of a revived story line. Not particularly original. But that is my only real grizzle about the game. Great visuals, sound effects, and cut scenes. The story flowed well. There were bonus morphing objects, jigsaw pieces, and collectables to gather along the way. The map showed you if you had missed any. Hidden objects were a slight let-down. No morphing objects, and not very interactive. Puzzles varied in both type and difficulty but nothing very hard. Game was an okay length. Bonus chapter followed on from game and was the same calibre. Recommend this game.

I enjoyed Runefall, but found it had a few minor shortfalls - but in this game they've all been cleaned up and polished. A match 3 game, with extras including coins to help you buy power-ups. 3 main types of match 3 sets within the game, and each set of levels getting harder as you go along. Kept me entertained on and off for weeks. Definitely recommend this game.

This game was well made, and flowed nicely. Good graphics and voice-overs. Hidden objects had variety, and puzzles were mostly very easy. You had morphing objects, cards, and puzzle pieces to collect along the way. All the ingredients required for a great game. Except it wasn't. I just found it to be utterly boring. The story line was very basic and minimal. And not in the slightest bit captivating. The game play had nothing new and exciting to offer. Whilst i can recommend the quality of the game, i cant recommend it as enjoyable. Maybe on a SE with a coupon, but that is all.

The Grim Facade games all seem to have that extra something that 'makes' a game. This particular game i found had a rather disjointed and confusing story line. I'm still not entirely sure who it was that dun-it, or why. But that didnt make the game any less enjoyable, which is a rare quality. The game itself was very easy to play, and bordered on being too easy, but no more or less than any other game. The only thing i did not like about this game - which seems to be the norm for this dev, is that if you miss a collectible you cant go back to find it once the game has ended. Certainly one of the better games i've played this year. And one i highly recommend.

Probably the best game i have played so far this year. Excellent sound, graphics and cut-scenes. Hidden object games alternated between standard, shadow and fully interactive. Mostly very easy. Only slight problem was the words where quite hard to read. Puzzle games were relatively easy. Some involved a little bit more thought than simple clicking. There were bonus eggs and morphing objects to collect along the way. However there were no morphing objects in hidden object games alas. Only disappointing thing was not being able to go back and find any that you missed once you completed game. Story flowed well. Bonus content followed on after main game, and was the same high standard. Definitely recommend this game.

I enjoyed playing this game, and it flowed well....mostly. However, their too many shortfalls for a CE game The game was not particularly long, and the same with the bonus chapter. You had 9 statues to collect through the game, and morphing objects, but no way of going back to find any morphing objects that you missed There was no achievements to earn. The hidden object games were interactive, but lacked challenge. Bar one puzzle, which i could not get my head around, the rest were very easy and without challenge. The story was of a shadow world and a prophesy about making it real. For the most part it flowed well, right until the end. Each 'foe' that you vanquished you chose to do so via light or dark magic.......but when the end came, instead of getting to chose which world to save, it just sort of stopped. Almost like the ending was rushed. I would recommend this game, but dont bother with the CE, the short bonus chapter is not worth the extra price. Just get the SE version.

Sometimes i wonder if we are playing the same games. Was glad to see a match 3 that others had left 5 stars for, we haven't had one in a while. But when it came time to play, i was left rather disappointed. It played smoothly, but was just plain dead boring. Simple match three, without so much as a single bonus for earning a 5 match or bigger. I also found it to be very small and hard to see. The grid wasn't that big, so why only take up a tiny space in the centre of the page, rather than the whole screen. The music was bland and monotonous. The dialogue was spoken in a slow monotone voice. Really nothing i can think of that was remotely interesting about it. In the bin it goes for me.
A thrilling gem-matching adventure awaits those who dare to explore the jungle of the Aztecs, where untold treasure lies hidden deep within an ancient temple!

I loved the previous Montezuma, but felt this one fell short. It was a lot easier than previously. There was no need to go back and repeat a game to increase you score, once it was done that was it. This game had you playing a slot machine to earn gold. I found this to be very boring and repetitive. Game was still fun to play though. If you haven't come across Montezuma before then i will recommend it, but if you own the previous version....then just go play that again.
