The first in the series was enjoyable. The second much the same as the first, making it less appealing, By the third game it becomes a bit tedious. Nothing original. Puzzles and hidden object were very mainstream and average. If you have played the previous game/s in the series this game is exactly the same.

The background graphics on this game and the cards graphics may have been pretty if they were by themselves, but together they blended into each other - absolutely no contrast at all. The cards themselves were also too small. This made game play very hard to see. I endured for a few minutes, but the game offered nothing remotely exciting, and just strained the eyes. I dont recommend this game at all.

The first one i took me a few attempts to get into, but then loved it. This one is like playing more levels on that game. What makes this one stand out from others we've had recently is the little extras it contains. Each game is a fraction harder than the previous. The games have limited moves giving it that extra challenge. And you can go back and play the level again if you dont get a full 3 stars. But what really makes it for me is that you use the whole board. Not too big. Not too small. And nice and clear to see.

Campfire ghost stories never seemed to quite hit the mark with me - like something was missing from them. The same could be said with this game. Lovely graphics, voice overs, and cut scenes. But the game play itself was very run of the mill. There were hidden paws in every scene - and some of these were quite cleverly hidden. Hidden objects and puzzles were the same standard style you see in most of the games now. Nothing stands out. Nothing sticks in your memory. Bonus game was more of the same. I also felt it was slightly on the short side. I'd still recommend this game, as it was enjoyable enough to play.....just suggest doing so after you've run out of better ones.

I usually love CE games. But not this one. The art style was the drawn, unclear style. Not the CG versions around today. The puzzles were easy. Hidden object games were slightly interactive, and very simple. The game play had no challenge at all. Go into one room/scene and perform 2 or 3 different tasks, then onto the next one. The story line could have been good - slightly curious as to why the old lady took the kid. But that is it. Also the story at times involved a bit of blood / death - both of which i consider for adults. Which was at odds with the very easy game more suited to an older child. But my biggest gripe - besides seeing 'sparkles' in the Hard game, was the absurdity of some of the tasks. Having to use a lipstick to undo an eye screw when you have a perfectly good set of pliers with you is just ....silly. I may try again with the SE version, but as a CE I can not recommend.

You know those games where the story line is so vague half the time you cant even remember what it is. Well this isn't one of those games. This one has a story line. The second installment of Wolfe looking for his sister. Game is slightly on the slow side - seems to take more than necessary to load the scenes, but that may be deliberate to give it that real life feeling. Did i mention it has a story line? Slow and gritty. A view from the seedier side of life. And one you actually want to know what happens next. Highly recommend this game.

Found this game to be rather disappointing. Graphics, cut-scenes, voice-overs were all well done. But the game itself was very short. Lacked imagination. And offered nothing new. I'd go into further detail, but most of it has already left my mind. You had collectables and morphing objects along the way, but if you missed any you couldnt go back and get them - this is a real turn off for me, as i like to 'complete' my games. Same thing for the bonus chapter. The overall feeling was that it was over just as you were getting into it. Recommend the SE, but not worth the CE price or label.

So many games i find myself playing, then half way through the game i wonder what the story is even about. No trying to figure out who did what, or why such and such is the way it is. Not the case with this game. Finally i can give a game 5 stars for Storyline. I am not big on psychological thrillers. Find them slightly depressing normally. But really enjoyed this one. Games and puzzles were slightly on the easy side, but had good variety with a few new ones. Hidden objects were slightly interactive, and varied between words and shadows. Highly recommend this game!

I love these mosaic puzzles. Others around just dont seem to have the same ease of play these have. I've bought all of them and gold starred every game. And now up to six colours! However.....found this one a slight let down in a couple of ways - 1. I've finished the set, and didnt need the hint or stall on a single game. They were way too easy. Previous ones have had one or two slightly harder ones, but this lot were very basic. 2. Whoever picked the colours must be colour blind. Certain colours together just look awful, and ruin the effect. Also I found the red and magenta too similar to be together in the same puzzle. Love this series, but would really like to see some more challenging ones.

Pretty much your standard match 3, with a few little extras. It could have been quite good if it was designed to be a faster played game. But as it is, you have to wait until each move has finished before making the next, and pot luck whether you can slide to swap or whether you have to click onto each one separately. Not my style of match 3 at all.
