Unlike any other game out there, a must buy for strategy lovers. Some of the game aspect is point and click time management like Diner Dash, etc. but this game goes beyond with a challenging strategy aspect to complete level goals. Each level is unique and requires different strategies to be employed; I had to replay levels many times to realize the appropriate play. Only negative, the office is a little too true to life visually, the game could be a bit more colorful. Wish there were more games like this out there!
This is a fun and colorful time management game, but the strategy aspect is what makes it a stand out; it isn't a simple "point and click" like Diner Dash. Perhaps a cross between "My Kingdom for the Princess" and "Build a Lot." Where as the levels in some similar games can be redundant, each level in this game is unique and requires a unique strategy to master. The prehistoric setting also adds additional delight. Though I have enjoyed many of the "My Kingdom for the Princess" type games, I'm a little tired of chopping wood and digging through snow piles; riding wooly mammoths and hatching dinosaur eggs was a fun little twist! Definitely give this one a try, even if you find the first few levels simplistic; the game develops in later levels!
This game is (or means to be) fashioned after the "My Kingdom for the Princess" series, but falls short in terms of strategic play. The game play is more "point and click" as fast as possible than strategy based. The levels are tiresome and repetitive.
For example, there are probably ten levels where the goal is to collect "x" quantity of wood, which would be fine if each level was fundamentally different from the others where a unique strategy need be employed - not the case.
The "fade-outs" to the castle after each level are long and cumbersome.
Level 22 is simply impossible, and is either a bad joke or an error by the game makers.
Such a disappointment. I normally enjoy these type of games, and bought this one after the hour trial under the assumption that the strategy aspect would develop in the later levels. Unfortunately, the game is one note: what you see in the first 10 levels is all that you will get.
Boo!
I don't recommend this game.
