I actually loved this game. It's style is a bit old fashioned compared to some recent games, but I think that's why I liked it so much. The puzzles are not too simple and require a bit of thought but they are doable. HO's are of a good quality, and there is a jump map. Pretty good for a SE and a purchase with a free game coupon. Could do with more games like this one. Really need something different as too many recent games have pretty much been done before, and to be honest, have become quite boring. This one was a refreshing change.
I recommend this game!

Based on demo only as I won't be buying it. This is a prime example of 'same old, same old' games from this developer. The game has decent qualities but much of it has been seen before. They seem to be churning out games at too fast a rate and there are not many new ideas. Visually, the game is good but the storyline is a bit strange, with not enough thought going into it. Definitely recommend trying the demo before deciding, as some may love it. I'm afraid I don't.

This game is a breath of fresh air compared to the 'same old, same old' we've been getting from other developers lately. Fairly simple but still with a decent level of challenge, I tend to prefer buying CE games, but the recent ones have been putting me off. This one is different and I liked it for that reason. Would recommend trying the demo first as it may not suit all tastes, as other reviewers have said.

What has happened to this series? I used to enjoy the games but this one is really poor. It's far too short and there is very little level of challenge. Gave it the benefit of the doubt after playing the demo, but wish I hadn't bothered. The demo was so short I should have known better. This game is definitely not worthy of being a CE, possibly not even as a SE. Devs, recommend you bin this series, or go back to the drawing board to improve it.

Considering some of the previous games released this year, which were far from the quality we have come to expect from BFG, this one is a gem. A really good follow on from the previous games in this series. This is based on the demo only, but I love it so far and can't wait to download and play the full game. Top marks devs.

This is not like the original games in this series. They had a terrific level of challenge, whereas this one has none (based on the demo). Not worth the money for me.
I don't recommend this game.

Where on earth did BFG dig this up from. Played for 2 minutes and quit. In that time there were far too many dialogue boxes, popping up all over the screen, which I had to exit by pressing the 'X' in the top corner. Too much explanation. Not even a beginner could handle that, it would seriously put you off. This game looks so old school, it must have been lying in a cupboard somewhere since the 90's. Please throw it back in and forget about it!!

I loved all the previous games in this series, but did not like this one. Too confusing and difficult to figure out the gameplay. I also do not like games that expect you to buy extra stuff, especially after paying for the game in the first place. Very disappointed considering how good the previous games were. The graphics are really good, but that's not enough to recommend it. Sorry!!

Love and own all the Dark Parable series so bought this without trying the demo. It's every bit as good, and although I've only played it for about 30 minutes, I can tell I'm going to enjoy it. Basically the same sort of game play with FROG's and a terrific storyline. Hope there will be more like this because there are plenty of Fairy Tales to choose from. So go for it devs.
I recommend this game!
