I found this game uninteresting and thought it would be more design and strategy orientated but it was just picking elements and waiting for them to download. The items took ages to load encouraging you to use all the coins so you'll eventually buy more. I really loath games like this as it is a kind of gambling, where they make money on people's need to keep going, rather than skill. I wouldn't bother downloading this one.
I don't recommend this game.

I can highly recommend this game. it is very long and there are great challenges with a very extensive map. The storyline is engaging and keeps you going. I purchased this game as when I purchased another grim tales, and this was a lovely surprise
I recommend this game!

I loved this game, it is a good old adventure game with great challenges (and no hidden object scenes, so I was happy). I'd highly recommend this game

This is a great adventure game, very good balance of finding objects and puzzles. I loved that there weren't any hidden object, I tend to choose these games but I'd prefer there weren't any and more of this style of game. I didn't buy the collectors edition because I find the additional content is worth double the cost.
I recommend this game!

I loved the first game as it was challenging and instantly bought the second. It was okay but not as challenging and a bit short. Maybe after playing so many hidden object games I maybe my skills are improving but I thought it could have been longer.
I recommend this game!

House of 1000 Doors: Family Secrets
Guide Kate Reed as she solves four mind-bending mysteries that take her to worlds she's never imagined!
This is the first HOG in a long time that I've really enjoyed, I had begun to give up on them.
1000 doors has a great storyline and makes you want to keep playing. The puzzles are mostly challenging, a couple are a little basic, there weren't any that I had to consider skipping, which is nice.
The HOG's are challenging and I like the style where there are exposed & hidden items and combining items, though they repeat the HOG's a few too many times for my liking and this is a continuous bug bear of mine with these games. I know it is an easy way to collect things, but it feels a bit lazy to me.
This game was a good length but as always could be longer I couldn't have liked an extra challenge.
I recommend this game!

The storyline and game play were good and the puzzles were challenging. The collectors edition means you get an extra scenario to play, though I'm not sure if it is worth double the price of a regular game.
It was good that the HOG were a once only challenge, and there weren't too many of them.
The best thing about this game is the puzzles, they were challenging, new and different.
It wasn't an addictive game but it was enjoyable.
I recommend this game!

I purchased this game based on some very positive reviews and I wasn't as satisfied as others unfortunately. The game play was a little too easy and predictable and the game was too short.
The best part of this game were the puzzles, they were mostly fun.
I'm also not a huge fan of Hidden Object games which reuse the same scenes over again for finding objects.
This is a great game if you are new to this genre but if you play them regularly, you may be expecting more.
I don't recommend this game.

I've been playing this game for a couple of weeks and I'm highly addicted. The style of game play is fantastic with challenging quests and side games.
It is very long so you get your moneys worth, and being set in a different time with castles, dragons and knights, really appealed to me.
The only annoying thing is keeping track of where you built every thing and how to know what buildings need employment etc.
I liked how characters gained experience and that there were multiple maps.
Highly recommended, my new favourite.
I recommend this game!

I really enjoyed life quest, it was exatly the style of strategy simulation game I love. the tasks were challenging and I kept wanting to play. I think I lost a couple of days playing this one.
As someone who plays a lot of hidden object games, this makes for a satisfying change and will probably install it again soon to play.
