I gather from other reviews that this one is better than WM5, but I was still disappointed. I loved the first three WM games, bought the fourth to be hugely disappointed, skipped 5, then saw the great reviews of this one and bought it, only to be disappointed again. The finished pictures don't look like anything to me--and I wasn't really bothered by that with the first few games, but then I got Arizona Rose and the Pirate's Riddles, in which the pictures really do look like what they're supposed to be, so I'm not content just to solve the puzzle and have it be a big muddle any more. I would definitely recommend Arizona Rose over this game.
I don't recommend this game.

This is a fun TM game, though there are no levels of difficulty, so it got to be pretty easy after a while. It was fun to play when I wanted something that wouldn't tax my brain too much.

This game continues the excellent series, and introduces some new locations and challenges to keep it interesting. I've played through several times now, and it's still a really fun game. Multiple degrees of difficulty make it playable by folks with any level of experience with TM games. One thing I really like about the Island Tribe series is the ability to "chain" tasks, meaning you don't have to wait for a worker to return to the hut to click on the next thing (though this also means that sometimes you click on too many things, and mess up the timing--tricky!).
I recommend this game!

I'll say right up front that this game isn't super hard, so if you're looking for a high level of challenge, it won't be for you, but if you're terrible at block-breaker games like I am, it is really fun. You use a bubble to collect animals, and it gets larger the more you pick up--there are also acorns, coconuts, etc. that help expand your bubble, plus lots of powerups that float down on parachutes. If you hit an animal that's too big for you to collect yet, the sounds are pretty funny--and the chicken lays an egg, which is small enough to pick up. Every few levels, there will be a slightly different challenge, like pick up as many frogs as you can within 2 minutes, and so forth. If you lose all your Fizzballs, you can start over at the same level, just with your score reset, so you don't have to go all the way back to the beginning.
There is a kid mode, in which you can't lose your ball, that's perfect for little ones. My six-year-olds love it.
I recommend this game!

I think this is one of the best "paint by numbers" games out there. My main complaint is, as other reviewers have noted, that the dark backgrounds can sometimes make it very difficult to tell the difference between a cleared space and a dark-colored filled square. That has led me to make errors a few times, so I hope the developer will note these complaints and tweak the backgrounds/tiles to create more contrast.
Aside from that, this is a really well-designed game. The puzzles start out very simple 5x5 and work up to pretty difficult 25x25. The graphic quality, with the exception of the contrast issue already noted, is excellent. The minigames are kind of fun--you gain powerups by completing hidden-object and mosaic puzzles. There are a LOT of levels, so replay value is high; I'm currently on my third play through of the game.
I recommend this game!

This is a fun game, though if you're looking for a high level of challenge, this will not be for you. It's more for those who want to just play without having to puzzle over it too much. Most of the games are with less than a full deck of cards, and you get plenty of power-ups that make it pretty easy to win every game, though there are also challenges that you may or may not achieve, like finishing a round in under a set amount of time, or getting a certain number of special cards. The story is basically Alice in Wonderland, though there were some parts that I don't remember from the book, so I think they added a bit to the story. :)
This would be a really good game for kids.
I recommend this game!

The gophers are really cute, but don't let that fool you, this game can be plenty challenging, too. You have to get all the words in each level to keep advancing, plus try to collect the bonus acorns to score extra points. Lots of fun!

You build a city from the ground up; start by gathering berries and twigs, work up to more complicated tasks, and build houses and shops. There is no time limit, so the play is pretty relaxed, but there is a bit of challenge in trying to get all the secondary tasks in addition to gathering materials and objects to accomplish the main goals. Excellent graphics and sound, and great replay value.
I recommend this game!

I bought this game, and am liking it OK, but don't feel it's as good as Be A King 2. The controls are a bit confusing--it took me a few minutes to figure out how to hire workers, buy supplies, etc, and the days counter runs *really* fast, though you're given many more days to earn a gold award than in BAK2. Because it seems to be impossible to maintain a positive balance of money if you build very many defenses and wood/stone production, doing the extra missions that require gold is not possible, which is kind of a disappointment, as that was one of the things I enjoyed in the previous game. I'd recommend BAK2 over this game.
I don't recommend this game.

I've played and enjoyed the other Dark Parables games, and this one does not disappoint. It's a FROG, or fractured object game, rather than the traditional hidden-object type; you pick up pieces to assemble a needed item, instead of finding different objects from a list. The scenes are not terribly difficult, though there is a bit of a challenge figuring out where to use certain objects. There are only a few different types of minigames, with a decent level of challenge. The length is quite good, as there are eight chapters, and the bonus game was of a similar length as the chapters in the main game. The graphics are excellent, and the storyline quite good, inspired by the fairytale of Snow White. A very good value!
I recommend this game!
