After all the Adventure games, and trips to Europe, USA, and London. This game really falls short. I think if you were a novice or a young child it might be fun. I solved it all in no time but it never ends. One acquires points but that is not necessary. The gummy matches, puzzle matches, etc. there is no end to the game with the exception of earning points. This is very juvenile and I wish I had never bought it.
I don't recommend this game.

I just love the MCF games as they are so challenging, lengthy and fun. I have yet to find very many other games that compete with their games. MCF = Mystery Case Files for the newbies.
Take your time and relish this game and all the others that went before it. If you are new try the casual mode and update to a harder mode when you replay or while playing it the first time. Great going BFG!!!!
I recommend this game!

I have purchased all the games in this series along with their other Big Adventures game. They are fun, challenging but yet a little easier then most HO Games. It is just a relaxed nice easy going game for both adults and children. Each one has a variety of puzzles and always a little different from the last game.
I recommend this game!

Oh yes, this is definitely a Halloween thriller. Many things to accomplish and fun along the way. Spookiness factor is really good. The sounds are enticing and the animation keeps me wondering, what is next! It has many trials and tribulations but it is well worth it.
I recommend this game!

I always look for something new and challenging and this seems to fit the bill. I love the graphics and the idea behind the story makes it interesting, no matter one's age group. I just felt it would be easier but it is more difficult to find objects than I thought. I am definitely getting this game. It has a novel approach and yet a good puzzle. The hint meter is something new and fun. Good luck finding items. Keep them coming...

I have played a number of the serial games and I still like this one. There is so much to consider and not too gory for kids, like that matters these days. I am buying the game because it is good. It is difficult to derive new games with so many being in common. This piqued my interest and can see it in my collection to play again. One thing for sure I was tired of was looking for a pipe in so many HOG's that just looking for a powder puff seems redeeming.
I recommend this game!

I found this game to be exhilarating. The story is excellent as well as the graphics, dialogues, and challenges. Probably more challenges than one wants but it is worth it. If too simple, it gets boring and this game is anything but that. Definitely go on this Lost Land's trip and enjoy it like you would a great sci-fi movie.
I won't bog people down on the minutiae but watch the clip and download the trial version. It is a must have for one and all. One always has the option to chose the level of difficulty and I took the hardest challenge. Good luck and have great fun!
I recommend this game!

This is an advanced, but technological game for the avid thrill seekers. You have to figure it all out, alone. It may seem difficult at first but once you put on your thinking cap and maneuver properly with the right mouse button it can be all systems go. I thought about our astronauts and going to Mars on this game, but that is just me. Don't hesitate for a real advanced challenge. There is no back up info, one just has to think outside of the box. Put yourself in the driver's seat. So...what would you do in this situation. I am curious to see how others fair with this game.
I recommend this game!

Return once more to the haunted grounds of Ravenhearst Manor to uncover new details about this poignant saga. What you find could very well be the final chapter of this riveting story-if you escape.

Years ago I started playing the MCFs' with each new game I got further and further into hidden object games. After the very first one I was hooked like a baby on a pacifier and could not wait for the others to be offered. I have played the first 5 that came out 2-4 times. This last one I purchased the MCF: Escape from Ravenhearst, it really renewed my interest in the entire series of their games. The very first one was different than all other games available at the time. It seemed very difficult, but it was a good challenge that kept me going and there will always be one here in MCFs' series. Start at the first one offered and play them all in chronologically order. I preferred the Collector's editions. AbbyNormalUSA

I see the story-line as pretty good with a museum like facade, the visuals are excellent, puzzles are not too difficult. It is not the same premise as usual but the actual game has some twists and turns in it. Yes, there is a dark force but that is almost expected in some games. Many puzzles to make you the "Brainiac" in solving and finding new items. Reminds me of an Egyptian museum. Will eventually buy it. Dianne
