I much prefer the Goblin Kingdom to the Dreamless Castle. I think it was a longer game with more challenging puzzles. Nevertheless, this would be a great game for someone younger or if you don't want much of a challenge.
Graphics: Nice and "fairytale" like. :o) Whispy and dreamy are good descriptions of it.
Music: Worked with the story and wasn't annoying at all.
Length: This game is SHORT! It took me less than 2 hours to complete and I didn't use any skips or hints.
Challenge: Not at all. There are only a few HO scenes, this game is mostly puzzles and task solving. Fortunately, there isn't a whole lot of back and forth between scenes. Once you complete an area, you're pretty much done with it. Perhaps this is part of the reason the game is so short.
Overall: C Recommended for a younger player or if you want something mindless to pass the time.
I recommend this game!

I love Alice in Wonderland and the graphics for this game are a great fit for the story. Whimsical, cartoonish and fun. The characters are adorable.
You follow Alice into Wonderland and help her fix problems caused by an Illiterati agent, who's trying to take magic from Wonderland for himself. This game is a good mix of puzzles, mini games and hidden object scenes.
Graphics: Cute and fun overall, however, too blurry and dark for most HO scenes. I hardly ever use hints and I had to repeatedly use them to find items. I don't enjoy my HO games with a side of eye strain.
Music: Fit with the story and didn't bother me at all. I hardly noticed it so it must have worked.
Length: It will take a few hours to play, maybe around 4 or 5 if you don't skip anything.
Challenge: Some of the puzzles and mini games are challenging; most are fairly simple. I did skip the lobster ocean game after my trampoline repeatedly got stuck and wouldn't move, letting the lobster fall on the ground, and thus restarting the level. No fun. The croquet game can be challenging as well. Just know that when you click the skip button, you only get to skip the course, not the whole mini game. Using a skip will add 10 minutes to your play time (in case you keep track of that).
Play Again: When I need a wonderland fix, but if I want a simple go to game, this won't be it. A little too frustrating with some of the games and the hard to see HO scenes.
This would be a great game for a child/tween. While some puzzles will pose a challenge, they will enjoy the game play and storyline.
Overall: C (I would purchase as a DD only)
I don't recommend this game.

The insane doctor, experimenting and killing innocent people. This had the same feel as Redrum Time Lies; you're in a creepy run down asylum and you can't help but feel like something is going to pop out in front of you at any given moment. But it was far less disturbing in graphics and storyline than Redrum.
You enter an asylum in search of your grandfather and try to solve the mystery as to why he's even there as well as taking down a sinister creeper of a doctor and rescuing his captives.
Graphics: Good, nothing spectacular but well done.
Music: Adds just the right ambiance factor without sounding redundant or redundant. :oP
Length: I timed it and I honestly thought I'd been playing longer, but this game took me about 4 hours to play and I didn't skip any puzzles and used minimal hints in HO scenes.
Challenge: Some of the puzzles are time consuming, but nothing that can't be solved with some patience and desktop snacks. I did get confused when I didn't find tape 10/15 in sequence with the other ones (you'll find it later). Some of the hidden objects are cleverly hidden and I used the hint button on some of those. Almost always I found myself thinking, "Um, yeah, there's no way I was going to find that."
Play Again?: Yes, most likely, especially if I get the sequels.
Overall: B

If you're a fan of Sally's Studio or Spa Mania, you'll enjoy this time management game.
You run a travel company and not only will you get to help people plan their vacations, but you get to go with them. Of course, you'll still be working, but hey, serving food in Paris is okay by me.
I enjoyed most of the travel destinations with the only exception being the dancing ones. In those, you will have to click arrows that scroll at the bottom of the screen, at the right moment, to get everyone to do the dance move (they did something like this in Avenue Flo). Watching it scroll by, and only being able to use the mouse to click arrows, drove my eyes crazy. They should have allowed keyboard arrows at the very least.
I do have to say that the silliest/weirdest task you'll have to do is flip people over on their beach towels. You don't want these lazy vacationers to get an uneven tan. :oP
With that said, the graphics were nice, I did turn the music down as it gets old after a while and the game isn't so challenging that you'll be pulling your hair out. In fact, it will be fairly easy to get expert on most levels.
Play Again?: Yes, when I just want something easy going and non stress inducing.
Grade: B
I recommend this game!

I've played a lot of games and nothing else really compares to this little gem. Dragons have taken things from the gnomes and in order to get them back, you will need to create several potions to get past them. You will need to search for potion recipes, gather ingredients and mix them exactly or *poof!*
There are several mini games and hidden object scenes, which isn't what makes this game so special. It's the whimsical graphics and adorable characters. You feel part of something truly unique. The ingredients themselves are also just too fun.
This game isn't very challenging, no walk through needed. It still took me about 4 hours to complete.
I loved the music. Just sweet and peaceful.
Great game for someone young or just young at heart.

If you enjoyed the first Maestro game, you'll enjoy this one as well. The plot is grim but there's nothing really scary or gory. Okay, I thought the snake was kind of scary. Don't touch it!
A young girl is taken and forced to play violin in order to open a portal for other worldly creatures to enter from.
Graphics: Very nice. Well done. Similar to the first.
Music: The music appears to be the same as the first game. Or very very similar.
Length: This is a looooong game. Took me several hours to play. I did not skip any puzzles and rarely used the hint to find objects in scenes. There are a lot of HO scenes in this game. You'll visit each of them twice.
Story: Kept me interested. It's pretty similar to the first game; with a child being held captive and forced to play deadly violin music. I like how some of the scary things interact when you touch them (ie the snake).
Challenge: The puzzles are not too challenging, you probably won't need a walk through. And if all else fails just clicking around will generally solve most of them. I'd say the puzzles are intermediate in challenge. Also, the HO scenes weren't impossibly hidden or too dark.
Play again?: Oh definitely! I'll be playing the first one again and then this one for sure.
Final Score: A
I recommend this game!

What a fun and different kind of game. For the real puzzle solver. Meander through a whimsical world, hand drawn, and truly lovely. Solve various mini puzzles while you literally find puzzle pieces to put your world back together.
Graphics: Like stepping into a whimsical watercolor. The characters/scenes are very fun, almost like a steampunk meets the hobbits feel.
Music: Calming and very nice. You can turn it off if you prefer.
Length: A fairly long game, especially if you don't cheat with a walkthrough on the puzzles.
Challenge: Some of the puzzles were very challenging and I did get online to view hints. Most of them can be solved on your own. You cannot skip puzzles and the hint (collect flies to fill) is really only useful for finding objects on your list.
Options: Just volume controls for music and effects, as well as a full screen option.
Overall: Delightful game and so different from anything else on here. A- (only because I wish I had the option to skip some of the puzzles out of sheer frustration). :oP
I recommend this game!

If you're looking for a challenging adventure game, this would be it. There are a combination of mini puzzles/brain teasers and a few hidden object scenes within the story, but this isn't a heavy HO game, more for the puzzle minded person.
It is a dark game in that there are ghosts, demons, werewolves, etc, and at any moment, one could jump out and scare the bejeebees out of you. Um, werewolf anyone?
Graphics: Fabulously creepy. Well done.
Music: Adds wonderfully to the ambiance. Enough variety, though I found some of it repetitive at times.
Length: This is a LONG game, especially if you don't skip anything. Several hours.
Story: Interesting enough. The voice overs are very well done. Kept me entertained.
Challenge: Definitely challenging. I admit to skipping a few of the puzzles when I became more frustrated than challenged. If you like brain teasers, these are your kind of puzzles.
Options: After a while, the skip button will charge and you can skip puzzles or get a hint on where you should go next. The HO scenes are marked with sparkles, but this game is more of a run your mouse over the scene to find areas of interest.
Play Again: Most definitely!
Overall: A (not A+ because I'm pretty sure the gate with the dragon insert on the wall is only accessible in the CE version, but it drove me nuts that it appeared to be something I needed to find and I was bummed when the game was over and I never found it).
I recommend this game!

This is such a fun time management game. If you like My Kingdom for the Princess, you'll enjoy this series.
Graphics: Really nice, beautiful.
Music: The music fits with the theme of the game and doesn't intrude on play.
Game Play: You complete tasks such as building helpful structures such as sawmills, gold mines and pig farms; you'll also mine crystals and build roads, among other things. There are two or three main goals in each level and you accomplish them by gaining resources to complete them.
Length: Several hours, especially if you replay a level to get Expert. There are 40 levels and 1 bonus level.
Challenge: Some of the levels are pretty challenging to finish with an Expert rank, but I have completed the game with Expert on all levels and when you do there's a bonus level to play at the end. If you get stuck, there are great tips in the forum on completing the more challenging ones.
Play Again: Yes please!!
I recommend this game!

If you like ERS games or enjoyed Haunted Legends: The Bronze Horseman, you'll probably enjoy this one as well.
Story: The story is okay. Creepy little goblin helps an aging countess regain her youth by stealing organs from people. Sounds grosser than it actually is. Though you will be carrying a head around with you in your inventory.
Graphics: Pretty good, nice and spooky/eerie
Music: Sounds the same as the Bronze Horseman, that didn't bother me, though it was a bit repetitious. Turn the music off or tune it out if it annoys you.
Options: You can choose either regular or expert mode. Expert mode doesn't show areas of interest (except HOG scenes) and skip recharges slower.
Challenge: The puzzles aren't too challenging, though I found the wording of the gear lock puzzle to be weird, "Connect a gear on the track with one off the track of the same color to get them to turn."
Length: It took me about 5 hours on Expert level. I only skipped the last puzzle and only because I had two pieces out of place and I didn't want to take the time to figure out how to switch them.
Overall fun game, worth getting if you enjoy HOGs because there are a LOT of them. Some back and forth but not so much that it's frustrating. I'll be playing this one again.
Overall: B+
