Another Big City Adventure! I've been waiting for another to come out. Bought it without even bothering with the demo...I knew I would love it and I do. Finding some of the objects a little more difficult to find but that's part of the challenge. Or maybe my eyes are getting older! Hope the developers don't wait as long to issue the next one...those eyes aren't getting any younger!
Get the other Big City Adventures too! They really are worth it for any HOG lover.
I recommend this game!

I like a nice, easy M3 game that also has HOG thrown in. And an opportunity to improve a garden or town, or build a new one. It gives you something to do other than just straight M3. This is a fairly easy game. I noticed, they did get more difficult until about level 35 when they seemed to go back to the beginning with really easy puzzles. On level 40, I had a bit of a problem in that it kept telling me I had no moves left when I could see about 4 but...it made me start the level over. Twice. Not nice. But, I move onward.
It's a good game. Not too difficult (esp. untimed).

Jewel Legends: Atlantis
Discover the secret, erect magnificent buildings and restore Atlantis to its former glory!
I only played half of the demo and bought the game. I already have Tree of Life and enjoyed that. Even though the developers really like to make you work hard!! I love building cities/buildings during an M3 game but you sure have to work hard to earn enough gold to get to each building. And the upgrades! But it's lots of fun, easy going (in the untimed method) and a game you can play an hour or so, go back to it later and still enjoy every minute.
It's not as easy as one might think. Lots of chained up squares to get through. And it gets more difficult as you go on. Worth every minute!
Definitely recommend this game.

I had to give this four stars even though I've had a hard time with part of it. The objects are very small and often put over something the same colour which makes them difficult to find. And the names used for some of the items are not what I would have called them (foreign developer?) ie: an ink stamp was actually a blotter. A gas lamp was actually a blow torch. I have to use at least one hint in every scene mostly because I just can't see the items.
But the story line is great and the graphics are lovely. It's from the same folks as the Farmington games which is what attracted me in the first place. And I like building things!
Lots of fun.

Undiscovered
A hidden-object, adventure, building and matching game set on a mysterious Island chain!
I bought this game because the demo was great. You get to build a little but very slowly. The first two chapters were good, pretty basic M3 and a little HOG. The bugs in the second chapter were a nuisance but you could get rid of them. Then I got to chapter 3 with the vines. And it goes on interminably. It took me almost an hour to finish just one level because the vines grew back as quickly as you could get rid of them and if there were no matches, you end up back at the top of the board making useless matches only to find you can't past the vines again.
I bought the game because the first reviews were really good. Glad it didn't cost very much because I doubt very much I'll ever finish playing this.
Waste of money.
I don't recommend this game.

If you like the Jewel Quest Solitaire games you'll like this one. Very similar to JQS I and II. Simple card matching but not always easy. And a couple of "challenge" games thrown in. All a good way to pass some time. Really nice graphics and the music is ok too (I don't usually turn the music on but this one was good and not too repetitive).

I didn't even bother with the trial, just bought it sight unseen. And I am not disappointed. Same scenes as the original, with the same requirements but really, that's what I wanted. The first one was so great, it couldn't help but be just as great. The mini games are ok. I don't like all of them but you can skip. You lose a little money for skipping but in the end, it's worth it if you don't want to spend time on game you don't enjoy. Some are good.
I like that it is untimed and that you have a few "quests". The developers of this game have done a good job. Items are easy to find, if looking, hints are quickly refilled and it's just so much fun.
Love this game.

I have all of these Christmas Wonderland games. The items are not easy to find and there are other things you have to find along the way. ie: the nativity scene items which are very small and they don't tell you how many there are. You find out at the end how many you missed. And the gifts which are in silhouette but easier to find. My only complaint is when you have to colour in the Christmas tree (paint by number). I was left with a pink crayon and where I was supposed to use it wasn't numbered so I had no idea. Skipped it in the end and that's how I found out where it was supposed to go. Timed or untimed and you can skip puzzles though most are fun.
