These were never my favorite series, but I have purchased a couple of the good ones. I'm sorry, but this was one of the most boring CEs I've tried in a while, story was uninteresting, game play made no sense, and total game is a disaster IMO. The only good thing I can say, is the graphics were pleasant. I won't even consider the SE, even if I got it for free.
I don't recommend this game.
It's up to you to stop the evil lurking in Mud Creek!

Beautiful graphics, interesting story. an HOs were different and challenging. I really liked the fact that there were chapters so you can play a chapter, quit, an come back without being lost. I forget my place in a game an have to sit an play all the way through in most games, but not this one, so I never got bore or in a hurry to finish so I can go to bed or do chores, I really enjoyed this one,
I recommend this game!
You've just come of age! What should be a joyous occasion quickly takes a dark turn as you're pulled into the World of Shadow.

I played the demo about 15 minutes, an bought it. I loved the story, and the graphics, even though they weren't crisp, were still very nice. I loved the characters, especially Sebastian the cat helper; found the game lots of fun. It was long and the bonus game was long too...a plus. Even though the HOs were different and challenging, there weren;t a lot of them but there were a lot of puzzles which I don't care for and they were difficult. The lack of many terrific HOs is why I knocked off 1/2 star.. I highly recommend this game.and wish there were more like it.
I recommend this game!

I tried to play the whole trial, but just couldn't. Graphics were to cartoon like, game play was confusing and boring, the whole thing was just silly an not for me
I don't recommend this game.
Some family heirlooms are more trouble than they're worth...

I want it, I want it, and can't wait for a sale. When the demo was over, I wanted to cry. Graphics are awesome, story line is exceptional, challenge was not too difficult, but hard enough to keep you thinking. There were too many puzzles, the one with many, many pictures you needed to slide into it's correct slot was very difficult so I passed as I didn't want to use up my play time and they stopped sliding . HOs had both challenging and easy versions, but not enough. But the story was so good, it's like an exciting book you just can't put down and I want to get back to it asap; wish we could use 2 game credits for CEs instead of just SEs. You must try the demo, you won't be disappointed. I wish i could have given it a 5 star, but when I was doing all the sliding photo puzzle, after so many moves, they wouldn't move anymore. Oh please, have a great sale so I can get back to this adventure and just hope that it doesn't start to get boring, which some do after they suck you in with the demo.
I recommend this game!
Enjoy an exciting gangster hunt and track down the notorious bandit Bill "The Wild" Killwood and his Bloodbrothers gang!

I guess there is a story here, but it isn't interesting, just arcade type. There are a few HOs thrown in, but they are so dark and some items you have to click in several places before it accepts your choice. Where are the great, large scrolling match 3s with an interesting story and great game play? It has been so long since one has been developed that's it's almost a waste of time to load the trial game. I'm longing for a great one that is more than an arcade game. It's OK if you like this boring type, but not me.
I don't recommend this game.

Graphics is about the only good thing I can say about this game. I found the story uninteresting and the characters flat. I've played others in the series an bought them, but this one is a big pass.
I don't recommend this game.

I seldom give 5 Stars, but I more than LIKE this one, I LOVE it. Graphics are beautiful, characters are super, and the story is really entertaining, never got bored. After I played the trail version, I couldn't wait to buy it so I could continue. The only negatives are too many puzzles and too easy HOs. This is one I will play over again more than a few times..
I recommend this game!

I never give 5 stars unless it is something very special, and this one is one of the few I bestow a 5 Star rating. The game is beautifully done, really fun to play, the right amount of challenge, and the storyline was outstanding. This game was so exciting, I never got bored, even though it is very long, not once did I wish it would end. Amazing and wish developers would look at this one closely so they realize what a really great game looks like. If I had one issues, it was how many times you had to avoid the fireballs with the fire extinguisher, it was overdone,. I've enjoyed all the Phantasmat games, but this one was the absolute best.
I recommend this game!

There have only been a handful of good Match 3s, and this isn't one of them. Then, when you finish a level, it says you found an artifact, but they don't show it to you...guess you have to go to a different screen. This was pretty easy, so would be good for a beginner who only wants to play the game, but wish there was a story and speech instead of text. Also, enjoy the bigger game board where you need to scroll to more board. This one has nothing that interests me.
I don't recommend this game.
