I've enjoyed a couple of the earlier games with the Walkers. but then the novelty wore off and boredom took over. Now the games are just repeats of the old ones. Only the title changes each time. Hmmm, that has a familiar ring to it! Why are some devs so doggone unambitious???
Not all clutter is the same. These crazy piles of stuff and more stuff need a special talent and desire to keep it all interesting and varied with different fun styles. I personally think Joe does it best. However, it's fun sometimes to see what more is out there. Haven't found anyone else's junk, yet, that compares in quality and fun.
The Walkers are cute and the games are colorful, they never pose any tech problems. The graphics are excellent. There are two difficulty modes but little difference in the challenge. The bonus games are easy and one of them can be played after a handful of clutter levels are completed. The 140 levels are full of unappealing items and few of them actually relate to the wedding theme of today's release. There's a hint feature that recharges with the removal of the sun emblems from the clutter scene. All levels are replayable which is an opportunity to improve your score.
I finished the demo and was left unenthused about Shopping Clutter 9. It wasn't creative enough and the items were categorized, making it even more boring. For me, this is a no-go once again. However, if looking for a clutter game that isn't mind-boggling, offers some extra games to lengthen the playtime and has a little story attached, it may be just what you're looking for.
I don't recommend this game.

If you liked or disliked the previous Polygon Art, you'll probably feel the same about this one. This game just had no appeal to it and, for me, it is no better the second time around. Again the first level must be completed before advancing to the next ones. Again, except for the first two, the images are comprised of scads of small segments and they are terribly unappealing. Not even the array of colors can add any sort of beauty to them.
I think this style of art could be interesting and fun IF the developers put more thought into the subject matter, did away with the child-like choices we see here, and gave us more than just basic single images in the middle of the screen. I might be inclined to check out the rest of the game if I thought there was something to look forward to. As it is, I have no desire to spend any time completing the first level to see what's ahead. More disappointment?
There are much better color by number games and our growing collection at BFG has fine examples of them. Of course, Polygon Art is satisfying to others with this style of art and the images will provide a fun time for its fans. If the quality of subject matter isn't a big deal, like it is to me, this game will bring you hours of enjoyment with its 64 images. I realize not everyone shares the same opinion of anything, I wish mine could have prompted a higher rating from me.
I don't recommend this game.

Can't put my finger on it, but something about this game was unappealing to me. We've had copycat-killer stories before, but does it mean a copycat game as well? Don't know, but not interested enough to go any further than the completed demo to satisfy my curiosity. I was impatient through the whole thing.
I didn't care for the graphics, not quite sharp enough. However, the neon colors were almost non-existent this time which was a nice improvement. The scenes were kind of dark due to atmosphere of the theme, but color appropriate. Roderick's appearance contradicted how I thought he would look, considering his warped profile and his age. His prideful tone when speaking was appropriate to his personality. I liked Agent Darby's looks and his voice had a nice natural flow to it. A little too smooth, perhaps? I'm very suspicious of him.
I was put off by the big red X in the HOPs once again. An irritating feature, made me want to skip them so I tried the Match 3 only to be disappointed with that, too. The boards seemed a mess due to the choice of tiles and the sound f/x were awful. The puzzles were okay, some can be played in easy or hard mode. Still, I skipped a couple because of tedium. There are lots of coins, notes and photos to collect and 15 morphs. Also included are 12 wardrobe items to find for the boudoir.
I own a couple of Fatal Evidence games, don't recall them not being entertaining. But today's release had me on edge, not from anything other than impatience, wanting to finish the demo because I just didn't enjoy the game. I hate to leave a demo unfinished, unless due to tech flaws. I typically love murder mysteries, but just couldn't get into this one! I gave 3 stars since I liked the storyline and I do recommend it to others who may find this game very enjoyable.
I recommend this game!

I enjoyed the demo very much, even though I didn't go to the end. The images in the first level were all lovely this time. I'm still unhappy that we can't move on to the next levels before completing the first one. The decision to purchase hinges on what's in the whole package, but sometimes I just take the plunge and sometimes it proves to be a reckless mistake.
If I let this continually bug me, my color by number collection isn't going to be expanding much. The other features of the game outweigh the bad one, so I bought today's new release. I'm glad I did, because I'm pleased so far with what I found in the other levels. There's enough variety in the subject matter to keep boredom away, although I would still like to see even more. The array of colors is good, but could be better, maybe some colors that are more vibrant or out of the ordinary. I really like the selection of textures that are used. They make an otherwise flat image look more "artsy", adding more interest and beauty to the piece.
I moved through most of the images in the first level effortlessly, they were easy and quick to complete, even the ones with many segments to them. The zoom feature is very helpful as usual and the hint feature is great for getting that last little hidden speck of color. Modern Art 3 is proving to be a good purchase, 64 images (wish there were more), minimal but helpful features as always. Relaxing entertainment for the "artist" like me, who wants the beauty without the messy clean-up.
I recommend this game!

If I never see another penguin again, it will be too soon! And I used to love them to pieces! The time has come, IMO, to just stop. I do own quite a few games from this series, but 20 was more than enough. It took that long to tire of the same old thing over and over again. I kept going because the images were so cute, the tile choices were fun, the colors were beautiful. They still are!
This is a quality nonogram game with plenty of puzzles to keep you busy for many hours. But it needs something new to freshen it up, keep it going in a positive direction. Decorating is boring, the mini-games are too easy. Yes, the penguins are cute, but so are other critters. How about some new characters to delight us with new adventures, new ways of decorating, just something different for a change?
Fantasy Mosaics is one of the best mosaic games we have at BFG, but for me it has fizzled out. Still, it is logic-based, there are a variety of game modes, a great selection of tile shapes, bright pretty colors to work with, and the features are good. I've had no tech issues with any of the games.
If you've not tried it yet, check out the demo. I think you'll enjoy it and if this is your first nonogram, it may be a bit intimidating at first. Give it a chance and you may become addicted like so many of us mosaic lovers. I still recommend this game, even though it won't be added to my collection.
I recommend this game!

and I like Friendly Fox. Today's release is another fine example of their entertaining games. I love the storyline and can imagine how a kid would feel, suddenly being zapped into a fairytale land. A not-so-friendly one at that! This is a busy game with less than friendly characters who are bent on harming the children lost in this board game. Will Mom save the day??
The characters are well rendered in costume, personality and voice. The scenes are full of interesting things, catching my eye while working on the tasks at hand. The locations are amazing and the game resembles a board game. We have an owl named Luna, who tells the story as we play. I always like critter-helpers, so this is a treat for me.
The HOPs highlight lots of interactivity and top-notch creativity. It would be hard to choose a favorite, they were all so enjoyable. I'm not a puzzle lover and there are too many, IMO. But they have been okay for the most part, not being terribly challenging. Still, I'm destined to skip quite a few because I find them to be tedious.
The CE didn't skimp on extras. A welcomed treat after so many underwhelming CEs for such a long time. It contains a whopping number of collectibles. Thank goodness for the indicator bar that helps us keep track of them in each scene. There are also charms to find as we move through the game, to adorn a charm bracelet. Pick your challenge from 4 play modes. Replay many of the HOPs and puzzles at the end.
I purchased after the demo and have no regrets so far. It will be a long game for me with so much to examine along the way. I'm a diehard Lookie-Loo! The demo was fun, try it for a little taste of danger in a unique board game. Something a bit different.
I recommend this game!

Except for the first two, the pictures in the first level are nicer than in the previous game. However, they still must be completed before moving on to the other levels. I guess we will be forever stuck with this unpleasant feature. The devs continue to ignore the requests from their customers. They apparently don't care about making any kind of changes that would enhance and bump up the fun-level of this game.
This 13th release offers nothing new. As usual the finished images are very small and blurry. The beauty is lost entirely which is a shame after the time spent painting them and waiting to see them come to life. The beautiful colors don't even make a difference if I can't see the image clearly and enlarged. There are other issues as well, but I sound like a broken record, time after time, with the same complaints.
However, Pixel Art does offer mostly nice images. I could do without the cars, food and childish images but they've really come through with more of the larger pictures featuring a lot of detail and shading. These are really fun to work on and present a good challenge, each taking a good amount of time to complete. The Zoom and Double Click features are very helpful, but I try to use them as seldom of possible which prolongs my enjoyment. Moving the image around is another great assist. I also love the array of beautiful colors. The more, the merrier when it comes to painting, especially when it involves depth and detail. All the shading really brings the image to life.
I do think a variety of background colors would be a good thing. It is available in some of my other paint by number games and I really enjoy the color all around my painting, much nicer than plain old grey and black all the time. But a thin black border around the picture would make it easier to spot the same color that might be around the edges by separating it from the background.
I am definitely a Pixel Art fan in spite of the complaints I have mentioned. It would be great to see some new features and a larger variety of subject matter. I always wonder why some devs are not motivated to enhance their games to please their customers. Seems it would be a win-win result.
There are never any tech issues, the custom cursor when turned off is very precise in a smaller size and 80 images provide a good amount of entertainment. Paint-by-number games are a wonderful way to relax and there are no age barriers, nor special skills required. I hope Pixel Art brings more enjoyment to us by including some improvements in future releases. Try the demo for some artsy fun.
I recommend this game!

I finished 5 locations in the demo and, believe me, not all that easy. I love deep challenge but this time I felt a bit defeated having to use the Hint Feature way too often. But that's not a bad thing, actually. IMO, it means a good, strong HOG requiring patience and eagle-eye skills. Pressed for time, I resorted to hints where normally I would tough it out, with my magnifying glass if I was stuck. The graphics are pristine and very colorful. The beautiful locations are interesting, full of things more difficult to find than in most HOGs we see these days. I really loved the game in this respect. There are 30 locations to dive into. Lots of fun.
There are 2 Game Modes, Hint and Super Hint, Sound Adjustments and a small Custom Cursor which moved smoothly. Zoom Zones are indicated on right of screen in small boxes. Click to enlarge to a very nice, big size but some items still hard to spot. The scenery is very busy and dark areas can prevent a quick find. There are 3 kitties that mew when clicked and a paw print that pops up an animal image with sound when clicked. These can be hidden in the Zoom Zones, too, so don't forget to check there. Earned points purchase gifts, which are actually images of animals, to fill in a beautiful backdrop. There's a 3-star goal - find all objects, all kitties, all paw prints. Your achievements are shown at end of each location.
I played several mini-games. Find-The-Difference not so easy even with crystal clear graphics due to very busy scene and very small objects. For the sake of time, I skipped near the end, leaving 3 unfound items. The jigsaw style puzzle was a bit too easy, liked it anyway. I've seen it before in the Vacation Adventure games. I enjoyed the tetris-type game with rotatable box shapes. A bit frustrating, but fun. I hate Mahjong so skipped that one, I really wish devs could come up with something different instead. For me, too tedious and boring.
Overall, I think this HOG is very entertaining with its very well-hidden tiny objects. It can't just be breezed through unless, of course, frustration leads to the Hint Button. It certainly became my buddy in the demo and I usually avoid hints no matter how much it slows me down! So if you're up for a challenge. I do recommend this quality game.

Hint and charge times can be set to zero seconds in Custom Mode. I switched from the huge custom cursor to my own smaller one which moved more smoothly. The Domini logo as a balloon at the ticket booth was a cute touch. My inventory filled up with useful items. There is a nice task journal and the always welcomed indicator bar for the collectibles. The graphics were very sharp and colorful with not so much purple and green this time. Another dragon-themed story with the usual chaos, but it sparked my interest because it involves a Secret City.
There is an alternative Match 3 game with the HO scenes. The objects were large, some interactive items. Challenge was average. But why the big red X to indicate an incorrect click?? It is so totally unnecessary!! Not a bright idea and, IMO, it needs to go away. We know when we make a boo-boo without this annoying feature.
Everything was running smoothly, then much to my amazement, the demo ended before I was able to finish the first HO scene outside the circus. What the heck??!! So, in less than 30 minutes the game is over. I uninstalled and went in again with a new profile, only to have it happen again. Now my mind is made up to not purchase Sacred Fire. If short demos are something new with Domini, they just lost a loyal customer. Purchasing any game that cannot be trialed is just too risky, IMO, regardless of one's good reputation.
Needless to say, I am very disappointed that I can't submit a proper review of this new Domini release. My 3 star rating, however, seems fair since I did enjoy the short amount of time I was able to play.
I recommend this game!

This puzzle game has good and bad elements. Not a complete bust, because I think very young puzzlers will love it. The pictures are quite cartoonish, the puzzles are fairytale themed and the minimal story is captioned beneath each completed image. The graphics are clear and the colors are those typically found in storybook pictures. I can see parents and children enjoying this game together.
It is a turn-off right away for me because there are only 20 puzzles and each is locked until the one you are working on is finished. The perfect fun-killer! There are six sizes, 24 to 294 pieces. I completed 12 of the smallest and 1 with 150 pieces in the demo, so they were pretty easy and enabled me to see as much as possible in the trial time. The pictures were sweet and the artwork was basic. I did check out the other sizes, thanks to restart, finding them do-able without strain except for the 294 pieces which were quite small and hard on the eyes, and didn't stand out well on the grey background.
The pieces click into place very nicely and lock firmly with an assuring sound. Adjoined pieces can be moved around the board. The border pieces can be separated from the others and worked first, making the beginning a little quicker. Loose pieces can be pulled closer to the puzzle border, but I didn't find that it was especially helpful. If you choose the ghost image to help with assembly, it can be made lighter or brighter with a slider bar. You can restart the puzzles, choosing a different size each time. Use the mouse to zoom in/out after the puzzle is completed. One puzzle I worked had a slightly animated rooster in it, hopefully this fun feature is seen frequently.
Options include mouse zoom sensitivity, custom cursor, left or right mouse button for pan mode, resolution choices, volume control for music and sound f/x, save progress. The music was pleasant, not too whimsical considering that this is a fairytale themed game. The only challenge I found was due to the small-sized 294 pieces on a dark background. I encountered no tech issues. This game is quite suitable for young puzzle enthusiasts or someone who just wants very easy, no-thought puzzles as a relaxing time filler.
Even though it didn't fill my needs for puzzle entertainment, I do recommend it for those looking for simple jigsaw fun.
I recommend this game!
