I don't buy CEs generally and this time was no exception. I've played all the Haunted Hotel games as SEs. While this game lives up to its predecessors in terms of storyline, fun, playability, etc. it was shorter than the previous installments. Knowing this in advance wouldn't have stopped me from buying it, but I would have liked to have known, anyway.
I recommend this game!

I almost didn't even sample this game because of the bad reviews. However, whatever typos early players had to deal with have been corrected. The player who said it was impossible to get gold on all levels is mistaken. I purchased the game and only have 7 levels I haven't gotten gold on, though it did take some strategizing to earn gold on the harder levels.
My biggest complaint is that the voiceover will tell you to "Build a temple," when it means, "Build a barracks." There is no temple available in this game -- that was one of the previous games.
The dragonets are annoying, as they're meant to be, however, what bugged me most about them was the lack of animation. They just float over the various levels.
All in all, the game was worth the game credit I used to get it.
I recommend this game!

This is a standard "clear the road, build a building" TM game. Nothing here that you haven't seen before. Unlike some other TM games, you can't 'chain' tasks, meaning you can't click a task for a busy character to pick up once he's done with his current task. This forces you to sit idly while your character finishes his work. Also, if you click quickly, the voiceover will say its comments at the same time, making it hard to understand what is being said.
I was hoping for something better so will not be buying this one.
I don't recommend this game.

I played my free hour and enjoyed myself, so I purchased the game to finish it off. The joke was one me. There were only 4 more levels to complete. Spent my $7 for about 15 extra minutes of playtime. Very disappointing.
I don't recommend this game.
