I loved this game! It makes you use your brain, unlike so many other games where everything is handed to you on a silver platter, tied up in a pretty bow. I get so tired of playing hidden object games where nothing is hidden and even a 5-year-old could find the "hidden objects" very quickly. That's great for games targeted at kids, but not for adults that buy and play most of these games.
There's no handholding. So if that's the kind of game you like, then this game will not be for you.
I personally wish there were more games out there like Beyond the Invisible. I recommend both this one and the first one also...that is if you can handle a challenge.
I look forward to this game coming out every year...a little early Christmas present for myself! I've already played this one, now I can start working my way back through the older ones. Merry Christmas to all! :)
I liked the game and the circus theme was nice. But...the ending. What happened to the ending??? It suddenly stopped with a LOT of loose ends. I would have given it a higher rating if it did just stop with the sister saying...I'm tired, let's go home. What happened to Tula? Bart? The evil circus owner???
I actually feel relieved that it's over. The puzzles were super easy and soooo boring. The idea behind the storyline was good, but the execution was not. I'm going to delete it from my hard drive so I don't accidentally go to play it again in the future.
I just finished playing this game. It doesn't hold a candle to the other titles in the Christmas Stories line.
I own all the others in this series and have replayed all of them this month. This one is a big disappointment. Far too easy, and also very short.
I was excited to see the SE version released before Christmas and wasted a free game coupon for the purchase. I highly doubt I will be replaying this particular one next year. There was zero challenge. What a dud.
When I first started the game, I thought it looked to be one of those easy games where there would be a lot of hand holding. I was absolutely wrong. This is not one of those way too easy games, that there are too many of for my taste. You had to really look for the hidden objects, they are not laid out in front of you in plain view. This is mostly a hidden object game with a few puzzles. I'm tired of games that are listed under hidden objects and turn out to be almost entirely puzzles.
Most of the things you need to find are small, you really have to look closely. People with bad eyes may want to skip this one, but for those of you that love a challenging hidden object game...do not pass this one up! I've already purchased the two other Campfire Legends games, I hope they are as good as this one!
This is my first Shadow Wolf game, if the others in this series are as boring as this one....this will be my only purchase. I saw some rave reviews for this game, I leaves me wondering how the other games of the series could be more boring and the story still continued to be produced.
It started off good enough and different. Somewhere along the way it just got boring. A lot of back and forth, which I don't mind if the game is good. The analyzer was different, but it turned into a pain after the first couple of times.
I played it on the hard setting, but there wasn't really much of a challenge. It's one of those games that I couldn't wait for it to be over. When it was over, it ended abruptly.
I bought it as the daily deal, I wish I could get my 2.99 returned. Try the free trial for yourself, but beware, it goes down hill from there.
I loved the first one, and I love this one! Just finished playing the complete SE, straight through.
I really enjoyed this. The colors were crisp. The sound was appropriate for the scene. Loved the twist in the story line. And it's a nice length, though my bum bum says I've been sitting for too long. LOL
If you liked Maze:360, I think you'll like The Broken Tower.
I have to say, I was very disappointed in this game. Why change the formula when it was a great one to begin with? I LOVE the other games in this series, this one falls so short in all aspects. I can't understand the high ratings, seriously....if you had played any of the other House of 1000 Doors, this had to be a huge let down. It was for me! I will not be buying any more of this series if it continues like Evil Inside. Such a shame that it went from great to awful. Devs, please make more, but like the older ones. I will continue to play the originals, but I'll probably delete this one...
