I've liked all the Puzzle Vacations so far, though I thought the photos for the Japan edition were not as good as could be. In this one, the photos are great, some quite challenging. As with the others in this series, the can be customized to puzzle size, piece shape in two modes (jigsaw and swap). This series is definitely one of the best jigsaw/swap games.
Such a wonderful, relaxing pastime. I would like more images, naturally, but they are nearly all great ones. The vibrant colors and intricate images are wonderful. I could do without the basic ones, though. If the developers feel the need of a beginner level, one demo would do. Otherwise, keep up the great job, and the low amount of human figures.
This is relaxing pastime, with two styles of play and a few other options. There are only 64 pictures to color, though, and many of them are unappealing ones of people. I would respectfully request that there be more images to choose and no people in the next version. :)
The gameplay is the same as the two previous Puzzle Vacation games, which is great. There's a choice of jigsaw and swap with an enormous amount of piece shape options. The lack of stars is not due to gameplay, but to the images. They really were poor, and there were not many either. To keep Puzzle Vacations a five star game, as were the previous two in my opinion, there need to be more pictures to play and they need to be high quality. These were disappointing. I still recommend it for gameplay, but with the understanding that the images are poor.
I've rounded up my review to 5 stars, though I do have a complaint.
First, the good: as has already been pointed out, this developer listens and their games continually improve. This puzzle game is nearly perfect. There are two game styles and a lot of piece options. The choice of lighter background color was a great addition. I'd list all the great features, but penmom has written a detailed review that tells it all.
My complaints are two. I would like a lot more images, and while that's not what caused it to lose half a star, I would respectfully request that more images be added to the next game. The other complain is more serious: I've discovered while playing that with at least some of the piece styles, the pieces are always cut the same. It's hard to explain, but for example, when you use the animal shaped pieces, the frog is always in the same place on the image, as is the deer, and the turtle. It made replaying this piece style just not fun, as I knew where they were going to go. If the developer could change up how they are cut when there are special shapes, that would be awesome. Otherwise, it's awesome and a great deal of fun!
The two styles of play really won me, as I enjoy the swapping style as much as jigsaws. The variety of jigsaw pieces is too fun and though I preferred the traditional in the long run, I enjoyed trying the others. The images are in line with any other puzzle game -- pretty, though not spectacular. I'm glad none of the levels are locked, because that is a particularly off-putting feature of any jigsaw puzzle.
One problem I saw was that there is no way to show the completed image on the side. I only saw the ghost image option. I occasionally like to refer to the photo, but the ghost image is not what I want. Maybe it's there and I couldn't find it? If not, that option really needs to be added in any sequels. It would benefit from a saved games folder as well, and as another reviewer pointed out, there needs to be a better way to view the images when choosing one.
Other than that, it's a great puzzle game and I look forward to more in the series!

I am really enjoying playing this puzzle collection. The three styles of puzzles are a great deal of fun, and can be made challenging enough for anyone's tastes.
The reason I can't give it five stars, though, lies in the photos. Some are poor quality, some are zoomed out bits of other photos, some don't match the categories, and some are just awful. If the photos were of more even quality, I wouldn't hesitate to give it five stars. As it is, I still highly recommend this game, I just want to point out this issue. (And hopefully the developers will make a second with consistently good images.)

This is a classic hidden object game, with nicely drawn scenes, a variety of ways to play, and three modes of difficulty. It does have some mini games, and the collector's-edition-only scenes do contain a couple of puzzles in addition to the classic play. There are lots of levels to play and the gameplay is excellent! It's great to see such a quality classic HO game again!

You can choose number and shape of pieces, and whether or not to play timed or rotate pieces. There is also an option for a random puzzle. You can zoom in and out of the puzzle board. Coins are earned by solving, which will be used to unlock the final chapter. The images are mostly good, with the advantage of very few people. Overall, it's quite a good puzzle game!
This game does have some faults, that's for certain. First off, the puzzle categories must be unlocked by points earned from completing puzzles. In addition, some of the puzzles in each category are also locked. There is no choosing a puzzle that pleases the eye, here -- you have to work to be able to get to the ones you want. As for the beauty of the images, I can only comment on the first category (as I didn't play long enough to unlock any others) and say that they were disappointingly unimpressive. About the gameplay -- oh my! The pieces won't move!! It takes multiple times to get a piece to move, causing such frustration that I didn't make it through the first puzzle. In addition, there is no option to customize a puzzle for the amount of pieces you want, you only get three choices. Bottom line: this is such a disappointing game!
