Shortly after starting the demo, I realised I was hooked! Cute storyline. Gather resources, complete quests for the villagers, beat the bad guys, tick off achievements. No time pressure, and you can complete quests in a range of ways. It's a game I'll play again after a while.
I'm off to find the others in the series, and I hope they work as well.
I recommend this game!

This game is nicely different, and I've ended up happily using a game credit on it.
I was completely mystified by this game to begin with. The tutorial made it look simple, but when I tried level 1 I could see very little of the board, and couldn't figure what to do. I almost gave up, but I think that there was a glitch in the game. Moral of the story: if in doubt, reboot! When I did, I could see more of the board, and I also found I could move Lily into the spaces that I opened up with matches (you can move her at any time and it doesn't cost one of the limited moves available to meet the goal). I could also send her to collect the bonuses, or extra moves. All of a sudden, I could see the treasures I was aiming for! Once I got the hang of it, the game became ridiculously compelling.
The storyline isn't anything special and the sound effects get slightly wearing, but overall it's a lot of fun (once it works!)
I recommend this game!

Our little buddy the scarecrow is back in this new tale, loosely based on the Pied Piper story. A cheerfully entertaining game, with good artwork and story, and a nice variety of activities. It's not particularly demanding but it's fun.

I like good Match3 games, but this one didn't see out the demo time before I deleted it. It had a variety of different things to do (mostly match3, but also some clicking on groups of items to remove them, collecting items to clear a board or build up bonuses, and even some hidden object scenes thrown in). So I thought this would be relatively interesting, but it didn't live up to its promise. The gameplay was clunky and slow, there wasn't enough of a storyline to carry it through, the artwork was lazy and the music was horribly repetitive.
I don't recommend this game.

Review only based on demo
You have to return to your uncle Neil's creepy house to stop a bunch of mystery folks in hoods from performing a strange (and obviously harmful) ritual. The future of your family could be at stake. Your tendency to grow fur and fangs comes in handy on occasion, coming as it does with some interesting supernatural abilities like enhanced sight and strength, but it also has to be kept in check.
I'm not particularly into werewolves so this wasn't really for me - but if you are then the storyline might be enough to keep you going past the demo. The HOs are interactive, which is enjoyable, but ultimately my real criticism is that the gameplay is rather too easy. I played it on the hardest setting and used no hints, but it wasn't challenging enough for me to go beyond the demo. Nice artwork though. Voice-overs were overdramatised (but what would you expect?!) Hopefully you get to rescue your relatives in the end, but I'll leave that to someone else to figure out.
I don't recommend this game.

Can you help the Professor to control a mysterious and violent thunderstorm? Escaping with your life won't be easy - as well as plane crashes and lightning, there's a murderer on the loose, with a gun and a bad case of insanity. And if that wasn't enough for one day, you need to help a restless soul find peace.
This is the most original game I have played for ages and I loved it. I played it on the hardest mode and was very glad I did - the puzzles are much more varied and interesting than most games of this type, and it was worth spending time thinking about things without being tempted to hit the the hint button! A couple of types of puzzles were new to me, and I've played a few HOGs in my time...
It got easier after the demo, and for a while I thought it would be disappointingly short, but the finale took some time and played out so nicely that I didn't mind things being relatively straightforward. It was worth buying the game to be able to complete the story, for sure.
The music got a little repetitive at times but the sound effects were definitely worth having the speakers on for. The storyline is lovely, and the artwork was beautiful.
Highly recommended

One of the most original HOGs I've played in a long time and I knew from early on in the demo that I would want to buy it. A beautifully crafted mystery with a gradually unravelling backstory. The puzzles aren't hard, which would normally make me lose interest, but the designer has taken care to provide a lot of variety and it works well. I love the device of turning back time :) A few different collectables provides an additional challenge. The artwork is lovely.
I recommend this game!

A decent story, with some nice variations on hidden objects puzzles. I particularly like the ones where you have to manipulate objects in the scene to find others. The cut-scene artwork was very attractive. Overall a little too easy though, so I won't buy the full game although I enjoyed the demo. By the way, is it my imagination, or does the inspector look just like Russell Crowe as Javert in "Les Mis"??
I recommend this game!

I like Match3 games for a change - but they need to be a bit challenging, or have an interesting storyline. This isn't - graphically dull, no story, dead easy. I lasted ten minutes then deleted it.
I don't recommend this game.

Quite interesting storyline. Similar to quite a lot of other games out there, though. HOS were reasonably subtle and the puzzles were ok. But the cutscenes were slow to play and no option to speed things up without skipping altogether. I like to see the story but skip through scenes/dialogue quite fast, so I got really frustrated with this. Largely because of this (also because not different enough) I didn't bother to complete the demo and not one for me to buy. But if you're less familiar with HOGs of this type, it may be worth more of a go.
I don't recommend this game.
