Wowza! I'll buy every one of these types of games without even trying them out first. They're that good. I'm not finished yet but I had to interrupt my play to rave about this game. It's not an easy one, and it takes hours & hours to solve (at least for me). But that's what I love about it. You get your money's worth over & over again. More like this, please!

I loved this game! But I'm a puzzle lover, and this game has tons of them. Many puzzles are completely new and some are quite challenging, which is what I'm looking for. The graphics and voiceovers are some of the best. I honestly don't understand the bad reviews. What's not to like? If you want lots of puzzles, this is your game. It's a long one, too.
I recommend this game!

Wow, wow, and wow! Puzzles are my favorite part of the game, and this game has tons of them. I should have bought the CE. Everything was good. I almost never skip puzzles but I skipped two in this one after spending about 30 minutes on each one. One skip was because the instructions were terrible and I wasn't sure what to do. The other was a circular photo where you had to move the sections to complete a picture. It drove me nuts and I had to skip it because I was turning into a wreck! Great voiceovers, music wasn't annoying, and (most of all) puzzles galore. 10 stars!
I recommend this game!

I don't get the great reviews. This seemed like an older game. Graphics were good but the voiceovers were lacking in emotion. Too many HOPs, not enough puzzles. While there were some different puzzles, they were all too easy. No challenge in the entire game. Music sounded like a music box.
I don't recommend this game.
A couple's fixer-upper is haunted by a fierce creature.

Fun but not mind-blowing, and the puzzles were too easy, thus 4 stars instead of 5. I've been busy and haven't played for a while. This was a good one to get back into the playing mode. Good voiceovers. I wish when they say a game is scary it really is. Time for some adult themed games!
I recommend this game!

5 star game for me. Lots of mini games, tons of actions to take, creepy music, nice length, and just all-around fun. Even enjoyed the HOS's. Think you'll like this one.

Can't give it 5 stars. Just can't do it. While the game itself can be very challenging at times (I try not to use the map or hints) the mini-games are way too easy. Like easy enough for children, yet this isn't a children's game. I'm still waiting for my next 5-star game. It's been a long time...

Just meh. Didn't excite me at all. I didn't like switching detective roles. What's the point? Not challenging at all. Very few puzzles. I'm really surprised at all the great reviews. Maybe I've just played too many of these.
