I was very disappointed in this HE game. Most of them have been very entertaining with a good story line, and good characters. This one, however, was extremely slow, as you had to read your notes for almost every move to keep up with the story. The Hints were useless, and the map was just a drawing of where you had been, instead of helping you get to another location! The interaction between characters was almost nonexistent, which basically left you reading the story instead of Playing it!
This game had no continuity, the spelling was atrocious, and the english was more than just poor. The poor spelling created problems when trying to search for HO's, ie - leave instead of leaf. You had to constantly use the map and the hint to find out where to go next and, often, what to do once you got there! You didn't really find out until the end of the game, and I mean in the last 10 minutes, that there actually was a story line, and what it was. Save your money!
This one followed the story line front to back - and a good story line it is!! All characters stay true to their nature; the puzzles were good and many of them challenging, even if the explanation left you scratching your head and wondering where to start. There were a couple of my favorites: multiple games in one; deciphering how codes were broken, and then your typical HO's, but not a lot of those. Even interactive HO's which are a relieving change of pace. All in all, very entertaining and fun. Highly recommended.
I recommend this game!

Overall the story might be good, but the amount of time running around was very confusing. The worst part of the game was the fact that there was no map of where anything was located, i.e.. rooms, etc., and the "Hint" button only said "I see no more anomalies here", and "I should come back here later". Unless you were in the exact location of something further to do, you had to run around endlessly, or go to the walkthrough to find out where to go next. It made the game confusing, long and tedious. On the positive side, the puzzles were better than many of the games out there and actually presented a challenge. All in all, I would not recommend this game.
I don't recommend this game.

This game's story line was very disjointed. The mini-games were very poorly explained, some didn't seem to work at all, and even the strategy guide didn't make sense. Very disappointing. It's no wonder it was on a "Catch of the Week" pricing, but it wasn't even worth that.
Graphics & story line were good. HOS were pretty dark, making the search more difficult. However, I was disappointed (or just stupid) with the mini-games. I felt the explanations or descriptions were woefully inadequate to enable solutions. I ultimately had to use the BF walkthrough to get through some of them, and others even the walkthrough didn't help. The ending however, was a bit of a surprise.
There are 4 parts to this game, hence two purchases. That is the downside. Although it's a 'dark' game, the story line is very, very good, and very immersive. The games/puzzles are also very good and not just run of the mill HO's. The length of the game is also good, so you feel like you got your money's worth, The ending is not what you think it'll be, but it's the getting there that's over the top.
I recommend this game!

Whispered Secrets: Into the Wind
People have been disappearing in the town of Ridleton for the past 15 years... Can you weather the storm and solve the case?
Big Fish is capable of much better gaming than this one! My biggest disappointment was in the games - not so much the HOG, but the mini-games. The instructions on most of them were so poor they couldn't be played. On some, no matter what was clicked, nothing would move; on others the adjustments required were so minute as to be unseen, so ultimately it had to be skipped. Even some of the objects in the HOG's were poorly written, i.e., a "Digger" was actually a Dagger! I'm just glad this game was only $2.99.
I don't recommend this game.

Shadow Wolf Mysteries: Under the Crimson Moon
Is Martha really a werewolf - or has she been wrongly accused?
Exceptional variety of games, HOP, memory, challenges, etc., not just the same old HOP! Really stuck to the story line, though I thought the ending was rather surprising!! Highly recommended for fun and entertainment.
