So, I did enjoy this one though not as much as other Nancy Drews. I would like to have seen more locations to visit in this game. The game felt rushed. I say that meaning, it just didnt seem as much was put into this one.
I cant believe we didn't even get a chance to visit the Eiffel Tower! What? This was a very easy game and I didn't have to use a walk-through near as much.
There was also only one Easter egg in this game. Which came from flushing a toilet 10 times. A lot of fun! Not!
The characters voices, the mini games, the game you play in order to earn money were all great. I recommend every Nancy Drew game!
This is the 2nd Nancy Drew game to make me bawl. The story line along with the music had me teary eyed throughout the whole thing, but the ending was just fantastic. Way to go guys who put that music together.
So touching and I loved the memories Nancy would have with her mom. It meant a lot to me as I have lost my mom too.
I enjoyed this game immensely. Loved the setting and the characters. Also several Easter eggs to find(which I LOVE!!!)... This is a must have!
I love any game by Nancy Drew. This was one tough game, I had to use a walkthrough, which honestly, I use on almost every Nancy game. The end of the game is pretty hard, but I got through it. I loved the story line. The graphics, the characters and I loved the desert Southwest in this! This is a must have if you love Nancy!
Ill start by saying my fav Nancy Drew is the Shadow at the Waters Edge-in Japan, my next is the one at the college. Now this one, Trail of the Twister would be my 3rd fav and Ive played many of the Nancy Drew games.
I especially liked this game for the easier games you play to earn coins, so that you can buy candy and also to be able to buy the gift in the shop for 100 bucks.
I loved the Easter eggs hidden throughout, though tough to get as usual. I liked driving around on the map and finding places to go and taking photos of the clouds. I loved all of the characters and all of the scenes. I think my fav character was the guy in the barn. Always working on the car. Pa would be my next fav. This was a great game!
This game came out in 2012. So for its time this was the top in game play, graphics and such. With all the newer game plays here in 2017, if you try to play this game it will feel a bit harder, a bit clunky. Still I enjoyed the game. Loved each scene and I liked collecting the clovers and the Ravens. I recommend all of the Midnight Mysteries games!
I think this game was deff worth owning the collectors edition. I enjoyed everything about this game...The beautiful Christmas and wintry scenes, the story line, switching between movie reels and real scenes, HOS, mini games voice-overs ect..
The extra stuff was fun too. Collecting the movie clapboards..the only thing I was hoping for was better wallpapers. There were gorgeous scenes throughout the game yet they dont use those as wallpapers.
I LOVED the bonus of being able to go behind the scenes and play a mini game to feel like your a game developer. That was great and VERY VERY unique! Bravo guys!!!
Wish the achievements had been better. I like them in a room all by themselves. I look forward to more of these!
I am so glad I bought this game. It had the most beautiful scenes, all the way to the very end.
It was a bit easy and the HOS were too easy but I really enjoyed everything. Loved the detective storyline. I love real looking places, not queens and castles and weird places up in the sky or caves and such. I love the streets, the resorts, the hotel rooms, the swamps ect..
Very well done and I think the developers put a lot into this game. Gorgeous Graphics!
For years, Barton Mansion sat abandoned, a haunting reminder of an obsession gone wrong. But something sinister still lurked there...and it's stirring.
I cant think of one thing negative to say about this game. Everything was PERFECT~ Beautiful scenes, I loved the real places. What I mean by that is that it had real looking places that could exist in our world. Im tired of weird looking worlds or strange scenes. I loved the houses and all of the puzzles. This is the best game Ive played in a while now. WORTH IT! LOVED the Husky too!
Yes, this game play should sweep the HOS generation! This is the best and most modern way to play a Hidden Object Game. You are totally immersed into the game. You make all the choices, you have more control, more action. You still get some HOS. Its like playing an XBOX 360. I love the new way of game play and I would hope that more game developers would catch on and start creating HOS just like this. At first when playing Act 3 I thought we were playing Act 2 from the first game over again. You do that for about 10 minutes but then it starts all new. They do this to remind you what happened and how it ended in the first game. I recommend this game!
This game took me 2 days to beat. Its a long game and the Bonus game runs about an hour in itself. I am very unsatisfied with the CE, mainly because once you beat the bonus game, you finally enter a part of the castle you haven't seen yet and its loaded with nothing but concept art.
NO WALLPAPERS, or music or screensavers, just concept art..AND you cant keep any of it. They say you can now roam the castle anytime you like. Well, Ill pass on that. Ive seen enough of it to do me. T
here is so much going back and forth, you get lost easily. In the end, I finally started remembering which doors to take that led me to my next sequence in the game.
The voice over for the husband in this game was horrid,. He would speak 2 words then stop, then 2 words and stop. Why did they have him do that? Most of the voice overs were fantastic a. It was annoying that she(the character your playing) would say the same thing over and over when you were trying to do an action. She need only speak it once.
I recommend the standard. There is no point at all in buying this CE because the bonus game is nothing new except for one room. The back and forth was too much. By the end I was tired of seeing the castle.
The reason I give this game 3 stars is because of the work put into the game, the intention, the challenge, the scenery. I appreciate those things. The storyline was great...Otherwise it would have gotten a 2.
