This is definitely not Mad Heads best. The game is mediocre at best, I personally found everything I was doing in the demo was senseless, boring and at times downright stupid! Even if the story wasn't so sadly lacking and befuddled I found it to be too easy and for me, that's saying a lot because I normally like my games on the easier side but this was just too easy and had zero challenge which made it boring as heck! There were also too many moments that just defied logic. Read GrannyGruffs reviews for such instances.
Very sad to say I will not be purchasing this game which I was so looking forward to since I've loved all the others in this series.
Mad Head has made some amazing games, this just doesn't happen to be one of them! No I do not recommend something I personally will never purchase.
I don't recommend this game.

I played this game a few years ago and loved it. I just decided to download it here and replay and it's just as good if not better then I remembered it. Since I no longer have the original game I'm going to buy it here and add it to my collection!
This game has so much going on it's amazing, so much better than the newer games, in my humble opinion!
Gorgeous music, lots of hidden object scenes which you play at least twice which I love because I like to see how much I can remember from the first time. The game is long and has so many places to visit, it's just unbelievable.
This and 1000 Doors Family Family secrets still rank as two of my all-time favorite games!
I recommend this game!

I played exactly 10 minutes of this game and in that time I had to use the hint three times! Now I'm not a newbie at these games and I'm certainly not stupid, but the where and why's didn't make any obvious sense. I also found the game to be boring and the pace was slow as molasses! Nothing to capture you and pull you into the game!
I enjoyed the last 3 games in this series but this one is a big fat stinker!
I'm normally a great big fan of Elephant games, there Surface games are some of the best games ever produced. I guess everyone has an off day and this is definitely one of Elephant games bad days. A real pity as I was so looking forward to a fun new game by Elephant.
Try the demo and see what you think about the game as for me I will not recommend something I know I will not purchase.
I don't recommend this game.

The first game in this series was a fun and gorgeously done detective game that I really enjoyed, this game is a big fat stinker! It has zero in common with the other game in this series!
There really isn't much more for me to add that others haven't already said in their reviews.
Boring and Monotonous are the only words I can come up with to describe this game! You have to find some kind of amulet, puzzle piece, or key to open, EVERYTHING!
I really can not believe these are the same people who gave us Maze, Dark Realm, Adam Wolf, Cadenza and the NeverTales games. Well, to be honest, many of their newer games in those series haven't been all that great either, but at one time Mad Head made the best games out there! Really a shame that this game and the last two or three games they put out recently were real stinkers!
No, I do not recommend this game not even as an SE!
I don't recommend this game.

I just demoed 5 of the most current CE games and I disliked all of them. I wasn't going to demo this game because it had so many low ratings well I decided the heck with it and gave this a whirl as the last ditch effort to find a great game I could purchase with today's sale. I'm so glad I gave this game a chance because I'm just loving it!
It's a darker somewhat spooky game without being too macabre, it's actually in a weird way slightly scaring and soothing at the same time.
I love the games by this designer as they tell the story as you go along so you know why you are doing what you are doing, and the story remains consistent and strong throughout the game. The mini-games are different, fun and most of all doable, which is a big plus for me because I normally skip the mini-games. The Hidden object scenes are fun, interactive and different from one to the other, another big plus.
The graphics and scenery are very, very well done!
The voices are great, nobody has annoyed me yet lol. The music is nice, and not intrusive, everything looks sort of spooky but not gross so all and all a really great game!
Yes, I highly recommend!
I recommend this game!

I thoroughly enjoyed the heck out of this game! I don't normally purchase the CE edition of games unless I think they are going to be very good and I felt that way about this game so I purchased the CE and I do not regret it at all! This is the shorter SE version which is just as good as the main story ties up nicely in this edition, you just won't get the bonus games.
I was very perplexed by the low reviews on the CE edition of this game especially by those who only played the demo. When I played the demo I was hooked, after playing the entire game, the bonus game, and the other mini bonus game I can honestly say they missed out because I had a fantastic time playing this game!
The game progresses and plays like every other game we have here on BF but the story was really fun and different. It's basically a bit of a rift on the show survivor, someone with a broken heart finds what they think is an immunity idol but in the end, it turns out she unleashes a very old very baddddddddddd evil entity. Your job if you choose to take the case is to flush this demon out and lock him away again forever!
I love the locations they are all regular everyday modern environments and jungle locals. I love being in regular modern, everyday settings instead of the same old same old, overly colored fantasy lands, or dark dreary, broken down, ugly, bug infested environments which we see a lot of. I wish we had more games like this.
Many games lately have bored me so it takes me days sometimes weeks to finish a game, this game I started yesterday and finished today, I just didn't want to stop playing
The mini-games are not really my thing but I found I played and enjoyed at least half of the ones in this game, the hidden object scenes were fun and varied, the music was appropriate for each setting and the locals as I stated before were really nice.
The best part was the story you find out little by little what the story is and it becomes clearer and clearer the more you play, many games you lose the thread of the story if there ever really was one, not this game you know what you are doing and why you are doing it. You get things in your inventory and you use them within a reasonable time frame. You don't drag junk with you the entire game!
I truly find it shocking and very hard to believe anyone would give this game a one star especially after all the actual duds we've been given this past year.
I highly recommend this game.

This game is not really my cup of tea. We are playing as a new character an ancient that we have awaken to save the worlds.
So no Jack, no ferret, no anybody from previous games.
I know the last few games became more fantastical and colorful plus they had the ferret helper and I loved those unlike many here on BF. This game lacks almost all color except a few brief times here and there the whole game is done in a dark and grayish hue. Doesn't put me in a happy frame of mind which is why I play these games.
The game itself is well made, the scenes although dark gray are still well rendered, the games and hidden object scenes are good not great. Just nothing in this game that wowed me.
I recommend this game!

This is definitely not Mad Heads best. Better than some games they released this past year but that's still not saying a lot. The game is mediocre at best. I found it too easy and kind of boring, sad because I've loved every other game in this series and I so look forward to buying them. This game will be a pass for me until the SE comes out at which time I will probably buy it on a good sale day or use a free game coupon.
The game was very simplistic and at times a bit ho-hum boring.
This is also going to be a pretty short game judging by the download, so another reason not to purchase CE
This game is not horrible, I did enjoy the hidden object scenes and a managed to do all of the mini-games so that's a plus I just didn't feel immersed in the game or connected to the characters in any way, and I spent the entire demo time in two small areas so I got bored.
If you want to play a really fun Mad Head game I just finished their Fright Chasers: Dark Exposure, that game was fantastic!
I will recommend this game, just not as a CE, it's not worth the money in my opinion.
I recommend this game!

This is the game all others should be measured by before ever leaving a 1-star review. If it's not as bad as this then don't leave a one star! Sorry, lately I've seen too many people leave one-star reviews for some of the pettiest reasons, ie. it's not the genre they like or it's too spooky or not spooky enough, to short a game etc. It always makes me sad for all the hard-working game developers. It's this kind of game right here that really does deserve the 1 star and that will keep BF from hopefully ever giving a pass to a game like this again!
I played the game for approx. a half hour and got pretty much nowhere. I left the game and then a few hours later I went back to try it again, I played another half hour and had to use the hints at least 4 times because things made little sense and everything moved at a dang snail's pace!!
Here are just two examples of the stupidity that abounds in this game. A.) you see a pair of rubber gloves hanging out of a toolbox, you finally have a way to open the toolbox when you do the gloves disappear and you get something else out of the box. Pan out, look for gloves, no gloves. Go back to where you just came from with a magnet that then pulls a coin out of an old phone booth phone, which we all know is easy to pull out with our fingers. Ok now you are wandering around can't do anything so hit hint go back to that toolbox and wah-la there are the gloves on the ground and toolbox is now gone. Go back with rubber gloves to fix electrical panel, they won't work. Why well because somehow now the gloves are wet and you have to go all the way back and find... are you ready...... a hand dryer like you see in say a Walmart bathroom is mounted on a brick wall in the middle of the street right next to a Grecian looking water fountain!! Dry the gloves with the hand dryer and now you can go back and mess with the electrical panel!
B.) Next example, you pick up a tea kettle fill it with water and I assume put out the fire raging nearby so hopefully, now we can move along, Nope! The pot does go next to the fire but only until the kettle starts to boil, then you pick it back up so you can go melt some ice with it in order to get a freaking strawberry!! Absolutely ridiculous and senseless actions. If that's not bad enough if you pick something up or put something down it moves very, very, very slowly!
I gave the game two tries and it's a definite no buy for me!

Sorry but this game is just not for me. I honestly can't find much about this game that I found enjoyable other than the graphics were nicely done.
I'm no longer a big fan of Eipix games and that over the past year has actually turned into a great big dislike. Their graphics are stellar but their storylines and gameplay leave a lot to be desired at least in my opinion.
I always like to demo their games with fingers crossed the old Eipix will reemerge, sadly that's still not the case here.
I found the game dull and boring! The mini-games were the same old same old, almost all the ones I really dislike!
I just found the game to be dull and boring, lacking in any originality whats so ever!
I don't recommend this game.
