I saw that the sequel was released today, and noticed that I hadn't played the original. I played the hour trial and was really getting into the game when my hour was up.
There isn't much of a storyline, but it's still fun.
You are taking over your father's diner because he is ill. At first, you start out making hamburgers and hot dogs, and then you go on to making harder dishes.
It's a great time management game and I will definitely consider buying this (or using my free credit of the month) and I'll also have to try out Happy Chef 2 (at least for the free hour).
I usually don't play "match 3" games, but I played this one, because I wanted to learn more about the characters, Tom and Joe, before playing the quasi-sequel, "Gardenscapes"
I am SO glad I played this game because it is fun as well as challenging It almost makes me want to try other "Match 3" games.
I loved the first Gardenscapes, so when I saw that there was a new one, I couldn't hit "buy' fast enough!
I love being able to catch up with Austin and see what he's up to. This storyline is cute, as you are going back to Austin's childhood home and visiting his parents. Upon arrival, you and Austin see that the backyard (garden) is in disrepair. This gives Austin the idea to give the garden a makeover to make it look pretty once again.
The graphics are great (just like the first one), and like I said the storyline is cute. The challenge level is just like the first one (in my opinion pretty great)!
I didn't even try the game for the free hour, because I knew that I would love it and so far I don't regret buying it. I'm not even 1/3 of the way finished either!
I recommend this game!

I loved everything about this game.
It was quite challenging, the characters were cute, and even the mini game (Scribbles) was fun.
I loved using Scruffy, the dog to help me find items.
Hidden Object games are probably my most favorite kind of game on Big Fish, and this one is easily one of my favorites. I thought it was a nice change from the scary, dark hidden object games.
I just bought the sequel to this game tonight, and can't wait to play it!
