I am leaving this review because I want the makers of this game to keep at it. I am in agreement that too many of the questions are repetitive, so that needs work. Additionally, (and maybe it's just me) If you (I) don't press the "right" part of the arrow (left or right) it doesn't "take" and I have to press it again. Sorry about all the ( ) and ". Also, each game is kind of on the short side then you start a new one. Some people may like that however. But this game is a good change of pace and I have been waiting for it.
I recommend this game!

The taste of MCF is over for me and has been the last 3 years! Every year I wait and hope for the old format to return. Where are the live actors that made MCF something so unique. I felt like I was actually part of the game, but no more. Everything is so "Pretty". If I wanted 12 year old cartoons I would look elsewhere. For a real fright bring in the live actors.
I don't recommend this game.

I was really beginning to wonder if I would be buying another computer game, but I found "The Emptiness" and bought it as soon as the trial was over. The two games that have always stuck out in my mind were the MCF games (but not the last two games) and Witches Prison and Turning Thorn. No other games have been as fun until this one. ABOUT TIME BIG FISH!!!
I recommend this game!

What happened to MCF? Every year I can't wait to play the new MCF game - I practically build my holiday season around knowing that another MCF game is ready to come out. No Live Actors??? Live actors were one of the things I loved the most - it made you feel like you were actually in the game! No cool and fun rooms to explore - everything is so beautifully drawn that it is no longer scary (in a fun way) it's more like looking at a painting instead of being inside the painting. PLEASE bring back the "old - cool" stuff. I know I'm not alone in this and I'm sure that less and less people are buying the new MCF games - go back to the "old" way and Big Fish will once more find their sales will go back up again!
I don't recommend this game.

I loved the use of live actors in the games that MCF is known for, it made you feel like you were part of the game. This is a really good game and I would have been more impressed with it if it were not for the fact that I was HIGHLY prepared for a MCF game like the ones I've known. MCF PLEASE COME BACK!
I recommend this game!

It's been so long since there has been a truly challenging game that has great visuals too! Most of the games have been geared towards 12 year olds! I don't want the puzzles to take 10 seconds to figure out - why even play them if that's the case! If you like Adventure games with a lot of tough puzzles and not the run of the mill "seek and find", then you are in for a BIG treat with this game. But, do yourself a favor and play "Witch's Prison" before you play this one. Have loads of fun - I did.
I recommend this game!

I have been looking for a game (at least almost) as fun as MCF Return to Ravenhurst and finally found it. I played this game based on anothers review saying the same thing, which is why I tried it to begin with. The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is because I do like live actors and this game doesn't have that. Additionally, there are no voice overs, which I also like since it makes you feel more like "part of the story".
The puzzles can be quite challenging but a lot of fun and the storyline is really cool. I'm hoping for a sequel and it looks like it could happen. Play the game and you will see what I mean.
I have lost count of all the games I have bought from Big Fish and this is only the 2nd review I have ever given, because it was so much fun. I know there are die hard MCF players out there so I hope this helps you to find a game that is equally #not quite though# as much fun.
I recommend this game!

The one thng I especially like about MCF games is the fact that they introduce real people. It makes you feel like you're really in the scene. Other games out there have "drawn" characters. This game is a bit disheartening - but hey - they warned us. Kind of added an "I've got to get this one because they warned me" feel to it!
I recommend this game!
