I had a great time with this game. It isn't my favorite in the category but... I'm happy with my purchase. :)
The length was great (60 levels). I had to replay several levels (some of them several times) to get "gold". You really have to be on-the-ball to finish before the clock on many levels. The reason I didn't mind replaying some of the levels was because it wasn't as difficult, as some games in this category, to figure out a different strategy.
Some people don't like that the repairs on the house were, typically, completely well before the end of the game. That didn't bother me at all.
Some people also don't like that you can't "advance queue" your workers. That didn't bother me either. That's part of the challenge of the game.
I don't know if it's something I did, or maybe I just missed it completely but... after I had finished all 60 levels (all gold)... The next screen that came up was the map. I didn't see the little arrow telling me what level was to be played next so I assumed I was going into bonus levels. Not the case. It took me back to level 1. I didn't get a screen telling me how wonderful I am to have saved all these people and places. ;)
If you're looking for a game with a "doable" challenge that isn't completed in a couple of hours, give this one a try.
I am absolutely in love with this game! I have re-played it several times and keep going back for more. :)
I like being able to choose to play in regular or expert mode. (I am still working on the challenge of completing expert mode without failing an order.)
One thing I really like about this Time Management (TM) game, vs. some others, is that I can set up my "play field" however I want. You want 3 banana crops? Great! You want 13? Great! It's your choice.
The graphics are really cute. And just wait til you have an encounter with a goat or a duck. ;)
Besides the daily orders to fill, two days of the week bring something a little different. At the "Island Market" you can earn extra money or you can use it to plan ahead. There's also a fishing day. It's a cute little break from the daily farming.
The one, and probably only, thing I don't like about this game is that some of the trophies can only be accomplished with the Collector's Edition (CE). The CE also includes a Free Play mode. I'm honestly thinking of upgrading to the CE simply because I love this game so much.
I recommend this game!

Create and restore gardens and help magical flowers bloom and grow. You may even discover how a fairy wish ultimately unfolds!
This is a game that keeps drawing me back. The basic challenge for each level is quite achievable but, getting "expert" is another thing altogether. I am personally having a hard time figuring out the strategy behind this game. I've gotten within 2 mana points of reaching "expert", on a few levels, only to have the timer run out. This just makes me more determined. ;)
You have a variety of plants to choose from. Some provide more "mana" yet require more maintenance. You also have a variety of tools to choose from. This is where the strategy comes in to play.
Currently, the forum isn't very active so finding help is difficult (compared to other game forums).
All and all, I'm enjoying this game and will keep plugging away trying to discover the strategies. ;)
Cute and easy HO (hidden object game). We have a few Christmas themed games that our kids look forward to playing each holiday season. I thought this was one they would enjoy. Objects are not hard to find but... if you find yourself stuck, the "hint" recharges quickly. The mini games are pretty easy also. The kids won't get frustrated with this one. The bad news is... I finished the demo, bought the game and literally finished it within 5 minutes of purchase.
