Since his departure from Olympus, Angelo has overcome many trials and enemies. However, he is about to face his greatest challenge yet, as threats assault the kingdom of Greece from all sides.
I am in total agreement with other reviewers regarding the storyline of this game. It is really quite captivating and a good read. Game play is very similar to most 'Build something' and 'Gain Powerups' type of Match 3 but oh my goodness - the tiles are soooo small and the gold tiles to be eliminated are so indefinable I just cannot play no matter how hard I try. The intervening graphics are so excellent I can't believe this change can't be done.
Fix that small issue and the game would be a buy for me.
I recommend this game!

Wow - this game is a scream. At first sight this is a game designed for children as the cute penguins and cartoon drawings of animals give it that impression. What a shock when, after making what is thought to be a calculated move, the board twists round and my set-up had disappeared. Boy did I laugh. One bonus to be awarded is 5 extra moves and I needed them several times. (The game is played in Limited Moves mode so no rush) In other levels the blocking hedges move. Coins are won to buy weapons that recover the snow layer, blast sand away etc. I was particularly enamored by the way the penguins somersault; forward flip or spin sideways depending on the direction chosen to match the pieces. This is a FUN game to play. Match 3 is interspersed with Find the Object quests which are pretty easy - at the moment. If you play this and don't crack at least a smile then it's a shame. Must buy for me.
A new Match 3 game is always a treat so after playing the demo and 'enjoying' the challenge I decided to take advantage of yesterdays' Half price sale. I found the game really difficult to achieve more than one of the possible three stars. Other than exploding octopus bombs, gained by matching four of them, no other power up is available until the Forge has been built and then a Hammer allows you to take out one square or obstacle. After that an Arrow tool takes out one line, a Puffer fish bomb takes out a goodly section and a Laser takes out a column and a row simultaneously. All power ups are limited to the three which are achieved by dropping their icons off the field by matching below them. There is no chance to gain any more by four matches etc. I finished this game to the best of my abilities after a few hours play. At the end is the sad confession from the devs that they simply ran out of ideas for more buildings so there is no point in continuing for me. The graphics are brilliantly done although mega tiny and the music was boring orchestral more like a film theme. The option to be able to change game style during the game in progress was a bonus but I am not a fan of either chain or collapse so never really tried them.
All in all a game to pass the time but I personally prefer more rewards for five matches of anything, more power ups and then a chance to upgrade buildings more than once.
Put in some more variety, bigger graphics and a better soundtrack and it would be better.
From the makers of Laruaville I knew from the start this would be yet another dandy. Offering so many different aspects to the game-play I never become bored and can replay this to my hearts content. Playable in Relaxed, Timed or (my preference) Limited Moves it pays to read the field first before committing to that first move. Taking different aspects from each of the Laruaville games the game has moved forward with the times. 4 match creates a bunch of dynamite which can be moved around the board by matching alongside, above or below, until it reaches the rocks or wall or whatever else needs to be destroyed in order to continue. 5 match creates a rocket bomb that targets coins or Ladybirds - the only option to finish some levels. 6 match creates a star (now this is a new power up) shooting lightening bolts and taking out all of the tokens of whatever it is swapped with. 7 match gives you a crate of dynamite which when used blows up into multiple sticks of dynamite. Add to this the tokens frozen in ice that needs to be matched to break it, wooden crates to break by matching alongside, armoured crates with only one vulnerable side, frozen coins that need fire to thaw them - the fire must be transferred from its seat to the frozen coin but can't pass through the water troughs!!! Lava blocks that can only be destroyed by matching over its' source, likewise for the green mass plus gold drops, explosive liquid drops, keys to locks ....... and then there's the Ladybirds. Please keep these game coming - I will never tire of them. For added variety the match 3 games are interspersed with Solitaire and Find the Difference. Easy to start with but becoming more difficult as the game progresses
This is a wonderful straight up adventure game. Excellent graphics and storyline. No rummaging round in piles of random stuff to find one thing. A huge inventory allows you to pick up things as you find them and then use them where needed. The mini-games were difficult in some cases being reminiscent of arcade type games but thank goodness for a skip button. When an action is performed somewhere that affects a different location you get a glimpse of what is happening. Several portals to other worlds plus an interactive map made the game a joy for anyone like me who has trouble remembering where I am at any given time. Well done to the devs. for producing this type of game. Keep up the good work. Maybe Helen can go on another adventure???
I love puzzles and the challenge of solving them. I have also played the old 'Escape the Room' puzzles and enjoyed them in small doses. I really enjoyed playing the first 10 rooms but after a while found myself quite bored and just going through the motions. The graphics are superb and it is great to find such a puzzle game but I suppose I must have just simply moved on and prefer Adventure games.
This is definitely a PCC purchase for me if I'm looking for a distraction with limited playing time but I won't commit to handing over hard cash.
I am not a fan of TM games but when I saw the graphics and watched the video I had to try it out. What a surprise. The sounds made by the characters are hilarious, and the obstacles have not seemed - so far - insurmountable. I would normally feel pressured by such a game but this one has a more relaxed feel - provided you forget how many stars are being awarded. I am about to press the buy button to take advantage of the wonderful offer this weekend from Big Fish. Have fun :-)))
The Halloween theme is well timed for this holiday season. The graphics, as always, are crisp and clear and the tokens move with ease. Not so many sparkles as the other Jewel Match games which suits me fine. The only thing I missed was a custom cursor but when I buy the game this will be the last thing I will worry about.
I played the demo on 'Limited Moves' mode which I prefer. It gives the old brain box a workout without being hassled by timers. Excellent game - playable and challenging. Well done devs.

Based on the 60 minute try out. What a brilliant game. Everything needs a puzzle to solve. Inventory items are used quickly. Excellent black bar comments. The guide being always on hand is a real bonus but I'm trying very hard not to use it although I needed a hint as to where to go next. Features like this are usually only found in more expensive games. No sparkles all over the place except in the tutorial so if you like that aspect you'll be disappointed. The music is a gentle 'Egyptian snake charmer' type and fits perfectly well with the game. As for time - in my 60 minutes I got as far as solving the pyramid puzzle on the boat so with possibly more to play, plus another 4 levels I would estimate a good five hours in all. We shall see as I went straight to the BUY button!!! Thank you Big Fish for yet another opportunity to purchase a brilliantly refreshing game.
I recommend this game!

I found the game far too bitty and disjointed as if too much emphasis was being placed on the game show hosts and not the game as a computer game. The sarcastic strain of humour and comments from the hosts is not my idea of fun and so after 10 minutes of play I deleted the 'game'. Humour is a very personal thing - you either love it or hate it. Sorry guys it's a thumbs down from me :-((((
