Pure adventure!!!

This type of game is amazing (AND relaxing) once you settle in & start exploring all aspects of your environment. There really are LOTS of hints along the way! Sometimes its handy to have a piece of paper handy (for eg. to jot down a pattern), but once you've explored a few scenes & enjoyed all the quirky cleverness that has gone into the flora & fauna of this universe, the next steps will come easier.
The sequel "LEAVES- the Return" is just as excellent~ and the story comes full circle.
I recommend this game!
This original adventure game explores a love story between two beautiful souls through ingenious humor and a bizarre, hand-drawn, frame-by-frame animation style.

Yay! No hidden objects or sparkles!
Just enough clues to nudge your thoughts in the right direction, absolutely no hand-holding :)
As with any real adventure/puzzler, you must have some patience and be open to exploration of your environment as you get your bearings & discover the machinations of your world & your task.
Fabulously trippy graphics too!
I recommend this game!
Mononino and the Treefruities are facing another disaster. With the leaves of their home tree once again scattered, your help is greatly needed.

I bought this game elsewhere, and it is awesome(!!) for all who enjoy actual puzzle/adventure games :)
There are NO junkpiles!!!
There are NO annoying sparkles.
There are NO little animal (or whatever) 'helpers'.

YES, you have to OBSERVE & THINK to make it through~ but it is NOT overly hard! Puzzles are really quite simple, so long as you pay attention to what symbols/shapes/colours etc you've seen where.
NO, there is no fluffy little hint button OR a 'skip puzzle' button~ but GIVE YOURSELF A CHANCE! All puzzles are pretty intuitive & you can play a simple game to open a hint if you get stuck ;)

The artwork is beautifully done, as is the whole concept of the game.
MORE ALONG THESE LINES, BFG!
I WISH BFG would actually get around to CATEGORIZING things properly!!!!!!: ie. games that are PUZZLE need to show up FIRST when you click on the puzzle category~ games that are ADVENTURE show up first in adventure etc etc...
I'm so FED UP trying to find a decent game amid the endless 'HIDDEN OBJECT' blah that clutters up every single category, I'm pretty much at the point of cancelling membership. Seriously, it takes more time to even find a game than actually play one.
I recommend this game!
Violett is reluctant to move to the dreary countryside. But when a strange light lures her to into a world of magic, she may never find herself bored again!

I LOVE finding weird, imaginitave, wonderful, quirky games... that actually make you THINK. This games is beautifully done and delivers exactly what an Adventure/Puzzler is looking for.
Highly reccommended!!!

So hard to find, and SOOOO worth it!
I've nearly cancelled my membership a few times~ but then have come across a wonderful, unique, somewhat challenging, beautifully done game like this. I wish there was more!
* On another note:
THERE SHOULD BE A SEPARATE GENRE FOR GAMES LIKE THIS!!!

this should most DEFINITELY NOT be listed as a HOG. HOGs should ONLY be listed as such when they are riddled with junkpiles of ridiculous random 'items'.
***This would solve TWO (from reading reviews of many many many games) MASSIVELY HUGE problems on this site:
1)PURE Adventure/Puzzle fans getting enormously frustrated going through game after game to find something that really IS an adventure (and often times these are listed only as HO!)~
and
2) Awesome + challenging games getting multitudes of terrible reviews from gamers who are only interested in HOGs.
Why can't there just be a separate category???????? Give the devs of this type of game the chance to see the reviews of the actual ADVENTURE gamers.
Big Fish, you would probably end up with more members + more games sold if you made it easier to find the games we are looking for.

I know there are more ADVENTURE games squirreled away in the lists upon lists of HOGs......
