Recently found the fear for sale series and starting from the very start! I did have to do some adjustments on my computer to play it, which resulted in the graphics not being the best - but that didn't stop this game from being enjoyable and still giving me shivers up my spine when you spot a ghost! It is a sign of quality of a game if it still stands to test of time - though I feel I should warn others that it does get very dark storywise.
Having played to other Immortal Love games - this is fine addition to the series and reminded me a little of the Dark Romance games - which I also love!
Did have 1 slight hiccup though - part of the game involved helping with a toy box show where you put in the missing parts of the scenes. Couldn't grab the box in the first scene to "fix" which really annoyed me - had to take off the full screen and wide screen to fix it. It was a shame as I was really getting into the game/story and it took me out of it.
To me this was an enjoyable game that I will play again.
The title was an instant hook for me - after all how can you not see Mr Darcy as a brooding vampire?
Overall I did enjoy the game though there is a few things that should be noted from this first time developer: The graphics could be a little better and so can the voices. The pacing of the story appeared a little too fast for me - not much world-building but that can be fixed if there will be a sequel. The bonus game kinda contradicted the ending of the real game and left me a little confused.
I do recommend that people try this game and the people at Telltale games should be proud of themselves - hopefully we get to see them grow and develop with each new game!
I found this game alright. Like others have said its is very a much like the old HOG games and not much problem solving on the players account. Definitely don't get if you want something similar to other 2 games in the series The main problem I had was with the storyline both endings to the main and bonus chapter left me with a confusion. Would play again but only as a last resort if I couldn't access my other games. I praise the premise but the execution left something to be desired
