I always know when I like a game when I can't stop playing and my demo goes so quick then I just have to buy.
There is a new feature added here where you have to match 4 blue cubes . At first I thought it was a fault as I always turn off the tutorial but then I read the help guide and found you need to match 4 with these cubes. For me this adds to the game as it blocks other moves until you get a match of 4.
I just wish more levels have these cubes. I realise some will hate this feature but I love it.
All in I find these games very challenging but as per usual even in relaxed you can not seem to get 3 stars only in mini games. I have contacted the developers asking how you can get 3 stars on match 3 levels but they never get back to me.

This game will not suit everyone but I love the challenge of it and at least it is not a CE this time.

This series is always top of my wanted list and for me it never disappoints.
All your favorite characters are here and the workers still have the odd tipple every now and then.

Every level has a different task and this time we even have chess boards added every now and then which just adds to the fun.
They always provide a very comprehensive strategy guide and as well as 45 standard levels there are 15 CE levels, 10 bonus levels as well as various mini games.
I always play in relaxed as for me I find the timer too challenging as later on this game is very challenging in relaxed.
You will encounter all sorts of challenges on your way and I admire the developing team for always coming up with a few differences .

What a brilliant game and all my memories flooded back when I got to the station and the guard was going to take his last train to Clarkesville. You can tell I used to be a great Monkees fan.
As for the game it is amazing, from the first hog which is unusual in a great way right to the end of the demo. This is how hopas should be made and I am not a great hopa fan, but if they were all like this I would be.
I have no problems or glitches and the game runs very smoothly and it is very unfair on developers to give low ratings because of technical errors that are more than likely nothing to do with the game.
Try the demo and see what you think but for me it is a wonderful game
I recommend this game!
Ring in the season with this collection of jigsaw puzzles bursting with holiday cheer!

You can probably tell I am a fan of this developers jigsaw games and they have provided us with another Christmas feast.
They have a wide diversity in their pictures and yes some are a bit different but I love this, some may not like all the images but as I am always saying we all have different tastes.
This year we can unwrap our presents in the living room and I am enjoying this feature.
There are so many configurations you can make to this game to get the right set up for you including bringing your own pictures in.
This is a relaxing game and you can set a timer if you so wish or have a ghost image which you can turn off any time you like. I prefer not to have a ghost image but that's just me.
Sit back and enjoy this wonderful game and one thing about this developer is he listens to what reviewers say, if only all developers did that.

This is the second installment in this series and the most important thing you need to do here is to judge it on it's own merits and not compare it to the rescue team series.
The first game had a lot of negativity as it was being compared to the Rescue Team series.
It is not and never will be as polished as that series so you need to judge it as a new game. This is a very challenging game and it takes a bit of getting used to. I mostly play in relaxed mode and even then I find it very challenging. You need to get used to the fact that you need to keep demolishing buildings but once you get used to that you can start to work out your own strategy.
If you are on timed you may need to play the same level several times to get your 3 stars and thank heavens for the strategy guide which you are going to need. When I played the first game it did take several levels before I got used to it and then it was fine and this for me is way more of a stategy game than the Rescue Team series. I do love that series but it was very straight forward.
There is a lot of clicking involved but it runs smoothly for me anyhow whearas the first game did have a few glitches. You can upgrade the actions when you get enough stars which is a must especially if you are on timed. The game does not stop when time runs out so you can get used to each level then replay to acheive 3 stars..
There are 10 extra levels in the CE plus the strategy guide which in this game is an asset.

8floor are the producers and the developers are Game On and this is better than your average 8floor game so do use your full demo time before deciding if this game is for you. For me it is ideal.

I am always amazed how we all like different things and the reviews to the CE version really showed our different tastes. For me this game was a real challenge, then for others not.
Which ever version you decide on it will be enjoyable if after the demo you decide to purchase. I personally am glad I bought the CE version and include my review of that below

This is the 3rd installment in the Viking Heroes Games and for those not familiar with these games they are 2 brothers and 2 sisters who come together to battle the evil forces .
Previously we had Viking Brothers and Viking Sisters seperately.
In these games they each have a certain ability to which you need to unlock so they can help you in the challenges.
These games never disappoint and are packed full of challenges and even in relaxed these can become quite a challenge.
I have tried timed and I am far too slow so relaxed suits me.
To achieve 3 stars in timed is not easy and I admire all who take it on.
You can change modes at any time but it will take you to the map of the mode you change to. You can not go from one mode to another in the same game. Each mode has it's own game which for me is a bit of a let down but that's just me.
The first couple of levels you are just learning the ropes but it soon picks up and eventually you will have many tasks to perform.
You have beams of light to project to find a path and for me these took some working out. There is a hovering scroll which gives you instructions. If you are on timed I would read the scroll before you start the level as the tasks do vary and any time saved is a good thing.
All the usual characters are here including my favorite squirrel who puts in the odd appearance.
There are 15 levels extra in the CE so for me this is well worth it and the strategy guide is very good.

Once again Casual Arts bring us a wonderful present that features the wonder of Christmas and although you know what to expect I never get bored with these games and look forward to them every year.
One thing to be aware of with these games when you first download is the prompt to download direct x. If you already have one of these games you do Not need to download it. If you do it will cause problems so close it. It will prompt again but just close it again and it will be fine.
For me that is the only down thing I can find about these games and wish there was a notification that you only need to download this once or made a bit more clearer.

All the Christmas glitz is here and as I am a puzzle freak I just love that every other level is a mini game.

I love difference in Match 3 games and this one does not let us down.
For a start this is a developer who cares and will listen to any comments in reviews. This makes a huge difference and usually results in games that we all love.

Despite having good reviews I struggled with the previous game Perseus as for me the tiles were far too small and I really struggled with it and the change to normal match 3 to chain did not suit me, but that is just personal taste.
This game is amazing and full of different features. I love where you need to clear paths for the gods etc and the feature where you can move a bomb anywhere on the board is great and much appreciated.
The graphics are much clearer and my demo time ran out so quick I just had to purchase.
The mini games are a delight and you can tell a lot of effort has gone in to this game to make it stand out in a very good way.
I am now on level 25 and they just get better and better. I only play relaxed so it will be interesting to hear other opinions on a timed level.

I love Match 3 games that are different and not the same old thing.

Regarding is this CE worthy? For me yes it is.
Not only do you get 60 extra levels but you also get 24 extra mini games not available in the SE.
At first this was a bit confusing but there is a very good help guide and after a couple of levels I was fine. Just like anything different it takes a bit of time to get used to it.
As you get further in more and more get added and there are a few standard match 3 levels but mostly you will be removing the Spooky Dwellers who mostly are on the edge of the boards and you need to clear the pathways to get to them.
You can set this up to suit you and you do not have to remove all the pumpkins but you do get bronze, silver and gold trophies for removing more so I like to remove all the pumpkins.
All down to personal taste really. You need as much gold as possible to decorate the house terrace all of which adds to making this a great game.

For me this is a great game but we are all different , we all have different tastes and this developer does his best to cater for all and it shows . Well done iki games.
try the demo and see what you think but don't just play 5 or 10 mins and give up, you need to get familiar with the set up as it is different from your standard match 3 games. Enjoy
