I was so waiting for this game to come out. I love the guys at Boom Zap as they are one of my fave teams, but the way the beta ended, I was so tempted to ask you about this one part. God Boom Zap, the way you ended it, it got to me. Then when I saw it today, I didn't even bother to demo it. The VO's are done very well in the game, but I did notice Ran's voice changed or is it me?
Story: Sophia is on one final journey to reunite with her parents. (But is this the end)?
Only time will tell if she is able to get the Sword of Courage and defeat Dreadmyre. But right now the way things are looking, the only one who can make the blade has been taken by the evil ogre. That poor Centaur. So we have to follow the Ogre to get back the Centaur. Not only for the blade, but to reunite the Centaur with his son. That evil witch will stop at nothing to get what she wants.
Graphics: Truly gorgeous. The team did a fantastic job on them.
Music: Fits the game just right. It doesn't go all dramatic like some games. Very well done.
H0GS: So far I ran into a list and the type where you have to use one item to get another item. Those are one of my faves. As well done as the graphics were, you have no problems in telling what the items are suppose to be.
Mini Games: So far they were just fun and not to challenging. I don't know how it will be later on in the game.
Map: It has the exclamation point indicators and it is a jump map. Very well done on the map as these are the best kind.
All in all this is one well put together game. Definite ten. Thank you Boom Zap for another awesome game! Kudos to the team.
I recommend this game!

Guests keep disappearing from a gimmicky haunted hotel. Is there someone pulling the strings, or are these ghosts actually real?

O.k., who does this hotel owner think he is telling James he shouldn't of bought his assistant? Why, because he probably knows his assistant will get down to business and found out what is going on. Anyhoo, this is one truly awesome game by our friends at Elephant games. The VO's are done fantastically. The hotel had a Ravenhurst feel to it. I love the spooky atmosphere of these games.
And no there isn't no cute little animals in this game, but we do have a mechanical scarab helping us out which is a new twist. There is 3 modes, Casual, Expert, and Hard.
Story: This Abraham Shadowy (who I don't trust worth a hill or beans), wanted to open up this hotel and turn it into a spooky attraction for his guests when his hotel turned out to be the real deal. Shadowy, not liking what's going on, called on James (that one hunk of a detective) to find out what is actually going on and that the hotel is actually haunted. But for some reason, he didn't want James to bring along his female assistant. That guy is suspicious or possessed from the word 'go'. It's up to us to find out what is actually going on.
Graphics: Top grade graphics. The art team did a splendid job. Yep it hit the spooky factor. These are the type of graphics where you are waiting for something to pop out at you.
Music: Definitely adds to this game. The music was done superbly. Makes the creep factor go up more. Love it!
H0GS: So far only ran into the word lists with the yellow words to do that extra step. Not sure if there will be different ones down the road.
Map: Very well done with blue tacks telling you where to go next and the orange flag is the character. It is a jump map.
Mini Games: The ones I ran into so far were nice, easy and enjoyable. Don't know what the game has to offer further along in the game.
All in all this is a definite 10/10 game IMHO. I am truly enjoying it, and looking forward to the rest of it.
I recommend this game!

Nice surprise today, yay! Viking Saga and Northern Tales, my two favs. I am not sure if you realized, but if you hit the X2 and then collect the rent, you get double rent.
There is a disable voice button, (like mentioned in the other thread, if Royal Envoy 3 did that I would have bought that game too). The narrator I am learning to tune out :)
There is 3 modes of play. Relaxed (yay), Casual, and Hard. The one gripe I did have was when the character talked to each other, it went so fast. Ummm Realore, we aren't speed readers lol.
Story: Ingolf wants to get married, but good ol' pops said not until you find the biggest diamond in the world. I think Pops doesn't want his daughter to marry Ingolf personally, because Pops thinks it's impossible to find this diamond. But off Ingolf goes in search for this diamond. And off we go in another adventure of Viking Saga.
Graphics: Awesome! Clear as a bell on my monitor. Fantastic job team.
Music: Just right for the game and not intrusive in the least.
Game Play: Collect the usual resources, wood, food rent etc...etc...
All in all I enjoy this one a lot like I did the others. Kudos to the team for a job extremely well done. And thanks BF for bringing this one. :)
I recommend this game!

Thanks to an awesome fishie we all know on here Justthefacts, and all the hard work she put on another website, I got to play the beta/survey version of this game and it rocks! The VO's are extremely well done, and I love that little guardian angel for a help button. She is so cute and so is that little laugh. I know that (because of the scenery), if something was going to jump out or come up sudden, my sitting down place and the floor will have an unexpected meeting.
Story: It was time for death to take Stephan Black, but before that happened he made a deal with death. (Seriously, not a good thing). Death would let him live he would collect 100 souls for death. So he happened to see an innocent victim (and he thought his first soul) Amelie sitting on a park bench and she agreed to have her portrait done. Little did she realize from that point forward she was going to be the one to stop him. I am sure she wished that she had said no and just kept to reading her book :)
The Graphics: So beautiful. Especially that first scene when it was a nice Summer/Spring day. And the spooky ones are downright spooky.
Sound Effects: Really creepy. They couldn't of done it any better. I kept getting goosebumps in the beta version. And it's the same in the full version.
Mini Games: They are fun and the challenge factor was just right for me. No problems on my end.
Music: Creepy as well and goes great with the game.
Map: It is a jump map and it does tell you where object are needed to be done. With these kind of maps I only use the strategy guide for help with puzzles if need be, or if I am extremely lost :)
Collectibles: There are 30 morphing objects to be found in the game, but I didn't see any achievements.
To me all in all I definitely give this game a 10/10. I am so looking forward to the rest of the game. Kudos to Top Evidence was an extremely well put together game. Love it! :D
I recommend this game!

I totally give this one a 10 stars. The VO's were superb, the story awesome, the game itself fantastic. Det. McGray so delightful and fun to play the game with. I truly enjoyed it from the beginning to the end of the bonus chapter. But what was the correct way to spell McGray? I saw McGray, McGrey and MacGray. Lol, Elephant keeps us guessing.
Story: At the beginning you see Elizabeth get killed by two Dobies and the next thing Aunt Gray knows is she is getting a call from her nephew James who got blamed for his sister death. So off she goes to solve the mystery and tries to prove James's innocence. Then the story takes a twist and the plot thickens and your in for a long ride :)
Graphics: Beautifully done. To me everything was really awesome looking.
Music: Superbly done. Fit the game to a tee.
H0GS: All list H0GS with extra step words.
Hint System: I didn't use it for the H0GS, but for the outside it worked beautifully. It also teleported you to where you needed to go.
Map: Gave an '!' to tell you you had something to do there. It also was a jump map.
There was also collectibles of the characters 13 in total and 35 morphing objects to be found. Also the way the main game ended you don't feel as you have to buy the CE to see the full ending. The main game ended the story perfectly. The bonus chapter had its own little story with a fantastic ending. Happy gaming.
I recommend this game!
