This is in no way a boring game nor a kids game (other than the graphics). Yes, slow, yes, not what we're used to, yes, takes a bit to get between scenes. However, it promotes "thinking". NO clues on what to do next, you have to figure it out. There are hints if you need them. I've been doing the HOG's and Adventure for years with Big Fish. I find this game entertaining, thought provoking and sorry, kinda fun.
I absolutely love halloween games. This one, just left me "boo" hooing. Made absolutely NO sense, you never had any idea what you were to do next. So disappointed -- believe it's one of the only times I couldn't even finish the "trial" game.
I don't recommend this game.

Entertaining and fun -- good story line that moves quickly. Mini games are challenging enough, yet easy enough where you don't get frustrated and end up skipping them. Love Miles the monkey helper!! Hidden Object scenes are good - objects hidden well but not so small that you can't find them. Love the fact that its not a Collector's Edition. Highly recommend the game!
I recommend this game!

Okay, some of the shadow objects are a bit difficult to find - guess that's a part of the challenge as nothing else is really challenging. However, it does provide a bit of fun (especially if you use a "free game"). My only problem is that it is way way way too short -- I recommend it . . . but not if you have to "pay" for it -- use a free game and it's ok.
I recommend this game!

I usually always find the good in these games -- people went to alot of work to put them together. But, sorry, this one fell so short. I played the whole 1 hour demo -- could NEVER find all the hidden objects -- ridiculously hidden. So sorry I can't recommend this one -- thought from the other reviews it might be fun for little kids -- nope, not even them.!
I don't recommend this game.

Small Town Terrors: Livingston
Your family is missing and the town is in chaos in Small Town Terrors: Livingston!
GREAT Fun -- So glad I threw caution to the wind and utilized the 1 hour trial period -- had ONLY 1 minute left on the trial, reached the end of the trial and decided to buy it. Thought I'd kill some time before the baby shower I have to go to ---- now, I don't want to go to the shower!! Love the games that actually make you think, remember and decipher. This one does it. Even the movies (which I usually skip) had my attention. The scare tactics work. Totally engrossing, lots of fun -- I recommend it highly!!
I recommend this game!

What a riot!!!! I honestly wasn't going to even try it . . . looked too amateurish (?). So, nothing else to do but housework, no other interesting looking games, nothing on tv . . tried it and I am happy I did. Totally different concept than the other HOGs. And, trying to figure out a sequence of events just added more delight to this totally endearing game. My only complaint . . . . WAY WAY WAY too short.
I recommend this game!

I don't know why the bad reviews!!! Sure the graphics were not top notch in all scenes - but I think it was done on purpose as some were "cartoonish". No boring, long dialogues. Had to use your head and remember where to use things you found -- so there was some back and forth -- but -- it made you think!!! My only problem . . . I played it twice and I still can't find all the darned cats!
I recommend this game!

Pretty good game BFG. Graphics and sound top notch. Not too extremely challenging -- just enough to make it fun without frustrating. Great story line -- wish it went longer. Well worth buying.

GREAT game -- can't believe it wasn't a collector's edition -- thank you BFG!!!! Fun, not frustrating nor extremely challenging. Finally, a game that doesn't overwhelm you with all the "stuff" you need to find to interact in order to complete a task. And, moves at a pace where you can remember where things are that you need to go back to. Highly recommend -- want the sequel!!!!!
