Find the festivalgoer abducted by the gargoyles of Notre Dame and uncover the cathedral’s dark past in this reimagining of the Victor Hugo’s classic tale.
Totally held my interest. Hog scenes were 2 to 3 parts interactive. Graphics excellent. Fantastic mapping. Really liked the morphing objects on the map. I could always make sure I found them in each particular scene. Overall, really excellent game.
When your daughter, Emily, is taken over by a mysterious force, you must travel to the Nightmare Realm to search for a cure. But nothing could have prepared you for what you find there…
CE's are usually a treat for me and this is definitely my last treat for the 2012. Dark with patches of humor (IMHO). Got out just long enough to post this review. Going back to play. I put this ahead of about ten other games on my playlist. There goes my knitting and football games.
Had to stop playing the demo so I could buy the game. So far, very enjoyable opening. Combination HO and puzzle. If you already know how to work the puzzles, I would suggest skipping the tutorial as soon as possible. It's just too much hand-holding. Other than that I think it's going to be a fun game.
Once upon a time in the small, undistinguished town of Silentville people started disappearing. Help uncover the mystery behind these disappearances and save the town from a curse!
(Played without sound) Had to stop playing so I could write that this was a different HOG. So much more. Wonderfully interactive and I'm just at the police station. This game is not for someone who just wants to act. You absolutely must think about how to do certain actions. BUY BUY BUY
Keeps your attention. Easy to jump from room to room using map. Puzzles are a little different which makes them fun. Length of game = money well spent.
Return once more to the haunted grounds of Ravenhearst Manor to uncover new details about this poignant saga. What you find could very well be the final chapter of this riveting story-if you escape.
Played 10 minutes, then bought it. What do you call a HOG that's not quite a HOG? Quahog? Loved the different type of search. Hard, but fun. Looking forward to the rest of the game. Thanks BFG.
