I can't believe this game only got 2 reviews and one that was so awful. I have been waiting years for a sequel to this while every awful game, including some pretty low rated seasonal games have gotten one. This was one of the most original match games I have ever played. Rather than just moving gems, having to flip them, risking empty slots which can end the game rather abruptly. There is quite a bit of strategy involved in making the larger gems since 3 stones make a match. You have to move around that and avoid making matches with the color you need and use power ups to make the big stones.
More and more challenging with every level. The required number of matches to make to make larger and larger stones increasing with every level. Making beautiful jeweled pieces rather original instead of the assembly line look of some time management jewelry making games. I was thrilled with it. I would be extatic with a second version.
I recommend this game!

I am so glad I waited to the end to review this game.
I stopped playing HO games because they became too convoluted, too much strategy and not enough playing but this one struck the perfect balance, yes there was a lot of running around figuring stuff out but it was not impossible to figure out and the HO scenes were just right. The graphics were beautiful, the storyline not cheesy everything was perfect until the end.
WHAT IN THE WORLD HAPPENED???? Here we were trying to defeat this evil queen who turned out to be a hurt little girl and as she gains ultimate power we put a heart together and poof Edward breaks out of ice, his eyes light up, THE END??? What can they ever finish what they start? This would have been the absolute perfect game had it not been for the abrupt, made no sense ending. I'm mad. So because of the ending I don't remcommend it. I'll just give it the good ratings it deserves, the end.
I don't recommend this game.

I like them all. It's the kind of hidden object game that can appeal to all ages. No dark and bloody story lines, no back and forth through mazes of hidden object rooms, no convoluted story lines filled with ghost machines, bloody heirs and vampires. Just fun searches and mini-games, not designed for the "goth-minded" player. Great for those of us who love HOG but don't want it to be a graduate level science project. :)
