It's been years since I used the traditional paint and brush to create a paint by number. This game did not compare at all to what I remember. "Spoiler" When I clicked on a number in the the paint palette all the corresponding areas on the picture turned gray. In my opinion that took out any challenge. I think a copy of the complete picture next to the blank canvas would be useful.

I only finished about 7 levels. I took my time reading and looking at things. I left the "dialogues" on. For a Time Management game there was too much of a story for my taste. I felt I was getting the hang of collecting materials, and what needed to be done to finish each level. If you like a bit of a challenge, a story within the game, take your time and see if this game is a good fit for you. (I tried the Collectors Edition trial without the "dialogues". I finished a few more levels than on the SE version. What I saw of collecting a couple of things to make a puzzle, etc. didn't seem worth the CE price.)

I haven't played the game. I picked 3 stars (average) because that field was required. What I see on my screen clearly states "adventure". The description states "first person point and click". I don't understand some of the critics comments. If you are considering trying the game: read the info provided by Big Fish, watch the video, look at the screen shots and make your own decision whether to download the trial or not. If you like adventure, point and click games this looks like a game for you.
