I've played a LOT of RPGs and this has hands-down become my favorite. I've probably played it through 10 times since I bought it 2 years ago. The story line doesn't really allow you to choose your path too much, but with all the comprehensive crafting choices and skill combinations, you'll easily be amused for more than the 10ish hours of gameplay (you can def make it longer by choosing higher difficulties, maxing out the training arena challenges, and redoing certain levels for crafting bonuses if you want). Plus you can skip most of the dialogue if you want, which REALLY comes in handy that 9th time around! I highly recommend giving this game a try.
