This game has everything I like in a game! From the morphing objects to the HO games (option to do a puzzle came in handy...sometimes I would do the puzzle just for the change aspect) and all of the places this game takes you to...and then having a jump map was needed for me and showing me different areas where things needed to be done. There was just a lot going on...but that is just what I like in a game! Others have gone into all the points you need to know in their reviews...so all I will now say is...GREAT GAME!
I recommend this game!

I enjoyed this game so much! I don't know how long this game actually is because I took my time playing it over a period of 4 days. But, for me, it was a long enough game. There are enough areas to keep it interesting and a lot to do. The mini games are fun and I only skipped a couple of them which were the "boring" ones. Other reviews go into more of what is in this game so I won't go into all of that. I just want to put my comments down of how enjoyable this game was for me...I will play this again for sure!
I recommend this game!

The last 2 chapters were what changed my 5 to a 4...they were frustrating to play. But based on the first 8 chapters this game is a 5 for sure. I had fun and the challenge level was good for me....and I enjoy a "little" challenge along with fun...then when chapters 9& 10 came along the challenge, for me became "I am SO tired of this". I found I had to use the guide for help and the hints...of course, I will say I would use the "hint" before too Just to see the dog get excited and bark as I would push on the Hint button and he would let me know as I got closer to what I needed. I did enjoy the conversations between the darling characters...that was fun to listen to. SO....I really do like this game...and I will be replaying it ....maybe I will even replay the 9 & 10 chapters just to see if I can have fun instead of frustration! More like this please....Just pure fun!
I recommend this game!

I enjoy the older type games...with music....ones which take me back in time...memories. Well, I thought this one would...but no, it was not fun after a short time. It went downhill for me the moment it talked about "black magic" with a voodoo doll found in her apartment. Then when I realized this was a game I was NOT going to enjoy, when I "quit" it told me "all progress will be lost"....I won't play any game where my progress is lost...I have to play a little here and there when I have time....SO this is NOT the game for playing at your leisure......unless you wish to Redo everything you have done up to that point. Not a fun game for me!
I don't recommend this game.

This was so much fun....and I even finished it in one day with a few sittings! Yes, it was too short but I still give it a five because I enjoyed it that much. Was the visual and sound quality that great?...No, not really, but it didn't matter to me. I liked the dog...I wish he would have been used more in this game. The HO scenes are my favorite kind, where you have to look for only a few items and one thing found finds another and then another is found and that causes another to be found and so on...ending up with one usable item to be used in the game. There were the regular search HO scenes also so I liked the change between the two types. I know for some this game was too simple but I enjoy games such as this once in awhile without the 'dark and dreary' effects and magic and witches. This was fun and had some places to go...and I didn't need a map or journal with this game. I do wonder what the extra chapter in the CE game would have held for me though!
I recommend this game!

I am playing this game right now and I haven't finished it yet. I have come to an area where there is the theme of "black magic" which I DO NOT like in these games. I probably wouldn't have purchased it knowing it was in this game...and so far, this is the only negative with this game for me. So maybe that tells you something...it really is an enjoyable game otherwise. I enjoy looking around and looking for things and trying to figure out what to do next. I will say when I began this game I missed something at the first scene and because of that, I had trouble figuring what to do next at a later point...so That was when I used the strategy guide to see where I went wrong...when I backtracked to the missed item, then all went smoothly again. I had to skip some of the puzzles after trying them for a few minutes...I would have appreciated a "start over" button on the puzzles. All in all this is a good mystery game and the HO scenes change from looking to find the items listed to using a "tool" found in order to find a listed item...anyway, I enjoyed all of those! I can't say if the CE version is best yet or not...from what someone else has said, it should be worth it for an hour more of play!
I recommend this game!

I began with such excitement playing this game...loved it....then probably almost halfway through I began to get tired of searching around for where to be and what to do. I had to use the hint WAY to many times for what I usually like to do in a game. The map wasn't any help and as someone else said, it didn't transport you to where you needed to go and I found myself "running" around a lot looking for what to do. Yes, I did enjoy the scenery but after searching too much even that became boring. Sorry all who LOVED this game but I grew frustrated with it. There were some fun aspects to it...but not enough to cause me to give it more than a 3. If the map would have been one which transported you, maybe I would have given it a 4. As I have said before though, it wasn't the worst game I have played!....BUT...not the best either...I am SO glad I didn't spend extra on the CE...when this game finished I was very glad! I will, however still recommend this one because it did have it's fun parts.
I recommend this game!

I enjoyed playing this game but I am wondering if the CE would have been a good investment...this one ended with...WHAT? Now WHAT? I guess I will look and see if there is or will be a continued game of this one...for all I know I may have already played it. I had to look around and go back and forth at times because I wasn't sure what to do. There is no map to show you where you are or what places need to be looked at. I did figure things out on my own, but a map would have been nice. I enjoyed al of the HO scenes...no complaint there. I do miss the voice overs in this game...you will only see words when people speak. It is not the best nor the worst game I have played...still was fun...I just wonder what the CE may have had over the SE.
I recommend this game!

I was looking forward to playing this game, and after reading the CE reviews, I really wish I would have bought the CE. There aren't any fun things to look for which it sounds like the CE had. BUT my biggest complaint of this game is when I made a decision not to play on the "casual" mode and went for LONGER times to wait to skip a game...some of the games to play were frustrating and I just wanted to skip and couldn't...and with other games I have purchased, if I had made the decision to change the mode of play...I could have...THis game will not allow you to do so. Very frustrating, because I have better things to do than sit and wait for the skip to fill in.....BUT even with all of that said.....I do like this game. I like the conversations, although short, that the character has with people. The HO's have some different kinds in this game and I really enjoyed that. SO, overall I am liking this game. I am on Chapter 5 and I believe someone wrote there are only 6 chapters...Hope that is wrong because that means I am almost done and I only began this today....And I haven't been playing ALL day either...So that will be another disappointment to have with this game...too short. I will wait and see.
I recommend this game!

This game only took me three days to finish, and I don't play nonstop each day. I do wish it had been longer but for an SE price it was okay. I liked the story and most of the games...I only skipped a couple, I believe. I enjoyed all of the HO scenes and did the "match 3" a couple of times just because it was available. My biggest disappointment is there is no map and because I do play at different times during a day, a map is always helpful because I DO forget where things are on most games. I don't like using a Hint but with this game I did need to at times. But, overall, I enjoyed this game as well as the first Phantasmat.
I recommend this game!
