Versions of this game have been around for a while. You slide numbered tiles around to merge them together and make higher numbered tiles. The originality with this one is that there are challenges along the way, you're not just playing to get a high score. Give it a shot, you'll find out pretty fast if it's your type of game or not. Another reviewer mentioned trouble with the cursor but this game gives you the option to play with the arrow keys on your keyboard and it's actually much easier to play that way.
I recommend this game!

I like brain teaser games and this one this one was fairly original. Decent level of challenge even though many questions forced you to guess at something unknowable. Even though there are a number of different games the "random" game spinner makes sure you land on Hidden Object every other time, which was annoying. The biggest drawback for me was that by the time I finished the one hour trail over 50% of the trivia questions were being repeated. I even had one same question four times during the trial. Based on that alone this is a no buy for me. But if you like brain teasers, it's worth doing the trial.
I don't recommend this game.

I gave this one a try because I like point and click adventures. First off, you CAN skip through the intro. Just click and hold your mouse and a skip timer will appear and count you down. I also had no problems closing the game during the free trial. This is a good game for the genre, I think the bad reviews are based more on the type of game than the game itself. I won't spoil the story but you manage an apartment building for the government and you get quests/missions to accomplish. It's completely non-linear, you can do them in whatever order you please as long as you get them done in time. You do end up talking to the same people over and over and exploring the same rooms again as different items become necessary. Pretty much standard fare. I played the full hour and found out that you can die, although you don't have to start from the beginning when you do. There are also things I've already learned that make me already want to try it again when I finish to do some things a bit differently. If you like point and click adventures that make you think a bit, give it a try. It is dark as others have suggested but I'm eager to see where it takes me. I get the feeling it's a bit of a test of your morals as far as the storyline goes. Worth a shot.
I recommend this game!

As others have mentioned, the controls for this game are a bit awkward if you are using a mouse. Once you get that down the game is actually fun and challenging but not overly frustrating. You have to do a bit of thinking but you don't always have to completely restart the level when you fail. Sometimes you do but I won't go into why because I don't want to give away any of the gameplay details.
The visuals are great, like walking through a surrealist painting.
The only reason I would not but it is the length. There appear to be only 30 levels that I could see. I finished 22 of them during the hour trial. Not going to purchase a game for another 8 levels regardless of how much I enjoyed it.
Definitely give it a try though, you will enjoy the hour.
I don't recommend this game.
