When they said help Emily, I thought this would be another in the Emily's Delicious family, like Hart's Medicine or the other related ones. This instead was very simplistic. There was no story line I could find. The demands were just one after another back and forth, while clicking in a small area. It got very repetitive and dull very fast. If you like quick clicking games with very little thought, then maybe this is for you. As a time management game, it just fell flat.
I haven't beaten the main gizmo's game yet, but wanted to play this one around the holiday. It's a fun mosaic game. The chibi style pictures you uncover are very cute and make this a family friendly game.

This game seems much shorter than the others in the Redemption Cemetery series. It feels like they pushed it out in a hurry to try and get it out for the holiday season, and barely made it at that. The main game only has 3 victims, and there is a bonus play area in the collectors edition. Good game with rich graphics and a great story line, but doesn't feel like it was a stand alone game instead of a part of a game.

The story line in this one grabbed you and pulled you in. There wasn't the stereotypical story that is replayed over and over, and which you can figure out from the beginning.
This game has a ton to offer in its play as well. Hidden object scenes aren't just tacked on and make no sense. Instead they are in sensible places, and what's especially unique is that you can interact with them outside of the HOS. Once you find things, often you can further interact with the area. Also, not everything is strict HOS. Instead not only do you have interactive scenes, but there are multiple types of game play in single games. Much more interesting and challenging then other HOS games these days.
One of my favorite parts is that you hang on to your dagger. It drives me nuts that in most adventure games you find something useful, such as a knife or a lighter, then you use it once and just toss it over your shoulder. It makes way more sense that if you find a pocket knife, you are going to put the thing in your pocket and keep using it until the thing breaks or you lose it.
The one complaint I have about the game would be the small mouse click areas. I would get really frustrated trying to do some action and check the strategy guide, only to find out I was doing the right thing, just not clicking in the exact tiny, little, pin hole area.
I don't know about replayability, but this game is a definite win for making me anxious for the next chapter and dying to find out what happens next.
Nice little match 3 with a Halloween theme. Challenges include collecting set amounts of certain tiles, clearing golden tiles, or dropping items to the bottom. The difficulty increases as you move up in levels nicely.
It should have been a tremendous achievement, but the tunnel through the Ridge of Leviathan became the site of a great disaster. What really happened that day?

One thing I really loved about this game was that the HOG's were not only interactive, but made use of items from your inventory. Too many of the hidden object genre seems that the hogs are just slapped in with no reasoning or relation to the game, more of an after thought.
What is hard about this game though is the story line. It's a great story, but parts are very sad. The challenge was also just right in some ways. I didn't have to peek at the strategy guide every few steps, but somethings were in unexpected places and took some thought.
My one complaint is that the hint button is way to large and in the way. I accidently clicked it more then once without needing to and lost one of the achievements along the way. It could of been much smaller and out of the way.

This one is hard to review because I felt like there were two different games happening, or at least two very different design teams. The first half of the game was one of the creepiest games I've experienced. There was alchemy recipes to create, puzzles to work through, and battles to fight. The second half of the game was a strait forward hidden object adventure that brought nothing new to the table and on it's own was a mediocre example of the genera. If the entire game was like the first half, this would of been a five star game all the way. If the entire game was like the second half, then it would of barely merited three stars.
Either don't get rid of your development team halfway through game design and have to hurriedly hire replacements, or if there were two teams working from the start, have a few meeting where they can communicate with each other.

I loved the fact that HO scenes weren't simple look at items from a list, or maybe move one thing to get to the item. Instead a few items involved multiple steps to obtain. The ones with many steps had a cursor change and a hint when clicked, so you weren't completely clueless.
There were a couple of times I had to check the strategy guide, but overall it was fairly simple. Other times the item uses didn't make full sense until after the fact.
Loved it so much, I searched out the app for my phone

This game can quickly become addicting. If you enjoy the variety puzzle magazines, then this is the type of game for you. I enjoy that I can play the puzzles that interest me more, such as lin-pix, while putting off the puzzles that I have to be in the mood for.
To find the instructions to each puzzle, you just pause the game and press the little "i" button. The only complaint I have is that you can only save one in progress puzzle at a time.
