Deep in the heart of an enchanted forest, a forbidden love blooms. Guide the human Eveline as she sets out to rescue her beloved from the clutches of a tyrant.
I bought this game yesterday because of the high reviews. The people look like cut outs of paper dolls. The voice over's are whiny or ridiculous depending on who's talking. The ambient sound is really annoying too. Turning off the sound helps but the game play is monotonous, you trace shapes to make potions a lot. The only good thing is the jump map. It transports you and shows what rooms have actions available. I'm giving it an extra star for that because it is playable. Try it out before buying!
It's a beautiful game but for me, was fairly confusing. I had to turn the VO's off really early. I think I maybe made it halfway when it crashed and I realized I didn't care enough to find out why.
Review of full game. I didn't think I would like this one when I first started it. The graphics are just good, not spectacular. The more I played it the more I liked it and I wound up really enjoying it.
Pros: interesting story, Jump map and fairly easy puzzles and if you don't feel like doing the HO's there is an Atari style game that you can play instead. The hint button offers direct help which I prefer.
Cons: I have to rate it lower because numerous items are listed as something completely incorrect or had names I had never heard. When you're looking for "briars" they're red things that look like radishes or beets.
There is a ton of back and forth but the jump map helped tremendously. I'm glad I gave this game a chance.
Someone has stolen two powerful magic doves from your kingdom, and the consequences could be disastrous. Embark on an extraordinary journey to stop the thief.
What a beautiful fantasy game. You get to customize your level of difficulty. The map is wonderfully functional. There are two spots dealing with a spiderweb that are annoying. One you have to click on an item that is difficult to see and you can't do the second till you take care of what you found. The hint circles are quite helpful. I'll be replaying this one!
This game was so much fun! There were dragons, Elves, Trolls and many other creatures. There are two levels of difficulty. I play casual so if you want increased difficulty you can have it. There is a really good map that indicates action needed and you can teleport with it. This game is graphically stunning, and the hidden objects are very easy to see once found. There are no sparkles but I am not the brightest bulb but was able to finish without a walkthrough. The only downside was in using some items, you have to click it in very specific spots. Those are annoying but just keep trying. Excellent!
I loved this game for the most part. You get to pick your level of difficulty and each object in the HO's were clearly visible. No hiding things in black areas where they're impossible. It does have a decent story too. It was a fun game and it made me jumpy. I love it.
I checked my drivers and everything tech support suggested. I play other games that are heavy in graphics and I have no problems. I'm sad about it because what I did get to play looked to be a great game.
If you like straight HO games that are creepy you'll love this game. The graphics are pretty bad but they but the hidden objects look exactly like they're supposed to and are all visible There is a vague and puzzling storyline that is impossible to become invested in. For me it was a waste of money.
