Love it, frustrated by it, love it. Sometimes I get impatient, but you can breed all the monsters for free, just need to try, try again for the bigger ones. Goes slowly at first, but patience pays off. Wish Big Fish edition had the same promos as the original android version, but can't have everything. You DO NOT NEED TO BUY ANYTHING! You can if you want, but can absolutely get everything for free. Without real money, that is. Tempting at times, but only if impatient. :-)
I recommend this game!

So refreshing to have an HOA that is not all hidden object to the exclusion of everything else, such as the adventure part! Some reviewers are saying not enough HOS, but that is one of the things I really loved about it. So many games run out of ways to find an object, so they have one HO after another to "award" you with the object. Not this game! And when you did have an HO it was not just a pile of stuff where you hunt and peck thru it. The HO scenes were actually fun, with actions to do to create what was needed. More like a puzzle, really. Oh, no! Using your mind! :-) That's what I love about games - they help keep my mind sharp. This one was just the right speed. Not so much that I hit the hint all the time, but not that it was easy going, either. Just right, IMHO. Go ahead, try the trial. You'll fall in love with a scientist who rides big lizards and flies on dragonflies.
I recommend this game!

I started out loving this game. Yeah, the voice of the mom was less frantic about finding her son than you'd expect, but not all of us are actors! This game was just right, with a nice mix of adventure, puzzles, and HOS. It was quite long, and brought you to several different areas. There were some innovative ideas along the way. (I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't finished) Then, when I was almost to the end, it was as if the developers ran out of ideas of places to find objects needed in the story. That's when all the HO junkpile scenes started to pile one on top of another. She'd go to one, find what she needed, turn around, find another, get what she needed, go to the same area she was just in, and the same place was sparkling again. When I didn't know where to find something, I'd just visit the places I'd been, and Lo and Behold! another HO. Several were back to back to back. My heart started to sink when I saw another pile sparkling. Now, if you love HOs then you'll love the last third of this game. I don't happen to love them that much. Some of the reviews say you can choose Match 3 instead of the HOS, which I didn't realize. I'll have to look into that. I did quit this game for quite a while because of the repetition, but eventually came back to it just because it bothers me to leave anything unfinished; so I did finish it, and I was relieved when it finally ended. It just seemed strange that the last part of the game didn't match the first part, which was so varied and imaginative. Is it the developers way of changing from a CE to a SE? I don't know. I DO recommend this game, but with reservations.
I recommend this game!

I'm new to games, and my husband and I usually do them together. However, I did this one on my own, and I LOVED IT! One of the best parts about it, IMHO, is the fact that there are no 'junk pile' HOs. Yes, you have to hunt to find things, but they aren't in a pile that you have to finish before you can play the game. Big plus!! The story kept me entertained, the beholders were fun to find, Benny was really cute, and the idea of being in a dream meant the landscape could be anything the creators wanted it to be. The places were very creative, and the one with butterflies and flowers was especially pretty and dream like. Really glad we picked this one up. I heartily recommend this game!

I only played the hour trial, and I was wishing there weren't so many HOs, as they take up so much of the hour. The story line was great. I wanted to find out what was happening in the story, and loved the puzzles I did come across. I did not buy it, because too many HOs don't hold my interest, as I'd rather be finding out how to "free the princess" or some such - in this case find the boy. Don't want to give it away, but they tell you that right up front. IMHO great for HO buffs, not as great if you aren't partial to HOs, the story line looked like it was really going somewhere.
I recommend this game!

I liked the demo, bought the game (well, got it for free punches:-) ) by the time I finished the game I was tired of all the Hidden Object games. Don't get me wrong, there were puzzles, too, just seemed like a HO every time we turned around. One thing I did like about the HOs was that there were 2 or 3 areas to each one, so we searched each area instead of just one screen. That was nice. HO list only showed just so many objects at a time, so had to visit each area more than once, as each object came up for 'finding.' Some objects were the shadow of it rather than the word, which was at times annoying, due to the space it took up, which meant less things could be listed at a time. All in all, I liked it, with reservations. I got kind of tired of the HOs, but then strictly HOs are not my thing if not interspersed with some more adventure. Was very glad not to see any occult, as is in so many of the games.
