I ignore the animals and stories. I just want to do the Hanjie puzzles. I want to do them without being told I've made a mistake. I will eventually figure it out and make my own corrections. The Zen Mode lets me do that. I couldn't be happier.
If only this game had a Zen mode the way the penguins have, I would be its most enthusiastic player! I prefer to figure out where I've gone wrong instead of being barked at when my pointer veers off course or I've miscalculated. The background is beautiful and there is interesting information but I couldn't relax because I was too afraid to click the wrong place.
I'll stick with the penguins. The difference is that the Fantasy series offers a Zen mode. I absolutely do not like that I have to be so scared about pressing the wrong mouse button. This game will cut you off if you make too many mistakes and doesn't give you a chance to make corrections without a penalty. Not conducive to the relaxing gaming experience I prefer.
I love this game except for the insistence of the messages telling me I'm playing it wrong. They don't tell me how they want it played and I managed to make it through all the levels. The messages are annoying and since I play in untimed mode, finishing a level quickly isn't something that would interest me so why badger me about it?
Otherwise, the game really is fun with enough challenge to make it satisfying without being frustrating,
This is the same old game but that's cool because I like the same old game. Only one BIG criticism - the floating bubbles are still there. I think the developer believes they add to the challenge. They do not. They are beyond annoying.
I would have completely loved this game were it not for the floating bubbles. I believe it's supposed to add to the challenge but it does not. The bubbles just make the level super-annoying. They are not fun or entertaining at all. The rest of the game provides a pleasantly relaxing experience even though I don't understand the scoring system at all.
I didn't hate the game but 1) There was too much back and forth. It jumped from here to there and I felt as though I'd landed smack-dab in the middle of a "Simon Says" game. And 2) WAY too many mini-games. For those who like puzzles- go for it. I skipped most of them because they're distracting and not something I personally find appealing.
I liked the game. It's a straightforward HOG and I did appreciate the ability to select the style I preferred to play. BUT- any game that offers a relaxed mode should NEVER include ANY aspect dependent upon time. This game scores higher if objects are found more rapidly and if the puzzles are concluded with greater speed. This is not just annoying it is unfair. It's true that the game doesn't stop if a time limit is not met but there should not be even a hint of a timer in a relaxed mode of a game.

This was a good game which would have been a great game had the navigation been clear. The map was only marginally helpful and I found myself wandering aimlessly, which detracted from my enjoyment of the game. As I said- otherwise it would've been a full five-star game.
The Kingdom is in chaos! Lady Sarah, the savior of the kingdom has been poisoned! It's up to you to find the culprit in this exciting hidden object adventure.
I completely agree with the reviewers who are incensed that there were timed battles in relaxed mode. I buy games which offer a relaxed option to AVOID time limits. I liked the game otherwise but if future Hiddenverse games include this MISERABLE and UNFAIR obstacle I won't be buying any of them ever again. I feel cheated!
