Yes, some of the objects are really big. Yes, there aren't always enough suns to get 4 hints. I play these games to relax so I wasn't that concerned about it. But, I get to level 11.1 & you're supposed to find 20 pieces of headwear. I've done this level 3x now & there are always less that 20 pieces of headware! Yes, you can skip a level, but that defeats the purpose of the level. Someone's getting sloppy with their game development!
I own all of the Jewel Match games & enjoy them. This one, however, I found a bit frustrating. For one, where are the castles? I have about 45 amulets but no castle pieces to buy! And how do you get all the stars in the bonus game? I can only find 1 star in the 5th Pearl level. Graphics aren't great either.
Overall, I enjoyed the story line & the games were fun to play. There were a few bugs in the game that I found frustrating, though. Hence, the three star rating.
Several times during play, the game would all of a sudden just quit & I'd find myself back on my home page & would have to sign in to play the game again.
The other reason for the downgrade was because 1 of the collectibles wasn't there on the screen to collect. I checked the Strategy Guide, found exactly where that collectible should have been, but it wasn't there! I played the game 3 times looking for it. I finally watched a walkthrough on YouTube & it wasn't there either.
I'm usually pretty forgiving as to what others might think of as an awful game, so I went into this thinking it couldn't be as a bad as all that. If a game has a good story line, then I can overlook other deficiencies. If the HOP's are good, then the story line doesn't matter as much.
This game, however, had no redeeming qualities that I could see. Navigation was difficult. Sound was annoying. Games required super sonic sight (that's how small the objects were).
