I usually play HOG, but am really enjoying this. It also really helps my memory. The game is pretty self-explanatory with matching 2 of a kind. this is what I've learned: Always match all cards at the top before playing from the hand. Watch from which rows the cards have designs to expose those for points, but as mentioned earlier, the real point is to collect those STAR cards. This is what I haven't learned, 1) how do I tell how many STAR cards are in each level? 2) how many do I have to meet to move on (the pro level let me move on with a 54 out of 60). So I don't quite know the scoring yet, which I'd like for additional challenge. More clues in the intro would be good.
Mystery Trackers series is one of my favorites because of the visuals and storyline. This one was ok, but I played it in Casual mode just to get through it. There were too many super puzzles for me, especially at the end. I skipped most of them, and some just didn't make sense on how to play. The mouse is very touchy in this game which made some selections difficult. Driving the snowmobile was fun and watching Elf distract the Iceman at the end was too cute!
While I play several HOA games at Intermediate level, this one had me stumped during the entry scene. The fog was hard to capture and the clues seemed random. Once I got in I was equally stumped with direction. I went to the Strategy Guide just to understand some of the functions - something I never do! This was more frustrating than fun.
Hated to end this game... My favorite: - H0, you interact, you have to find an object to get another one. As another reviewer stated: - Interesting mini games - Gorgeous graphics - Good music Try to find the 39 hidden turtles and don't skip the Extra. So much fun! Thank you authors!
Love the visuals and sound, but didn't buy the full version. I'm not a fan of the games that are just arbitrary (dial on mansion gate, wack a mole, etc.) nor collecting inventory that isn't used within the next 5 locations of the game. Just me.

Probably a good starter game for those new to Search games. After awhile, kind of boring for me: Search-Puzzle, Search-Puzzle, Search-Puzzle. There doesn't seem to be any elevation to completing levels. Not worth 10 bucks.
