I really like time management games, as in the move them from one station to the next type rather than the collect resources and build this type. Leeloos talent agency seemed like a different game that should be a bit of fun. However the game seemed really rushed and not well thought out, lacking some important bits whilst including useless bits too.
The upgrade system on the game is terrible, on the first section you use standard cameras, then you don't again. So it is completely wasted to upgrade them. Different levels you use different objects/stations so it is really hard to know what to upgrade and when. If you are given a new item to use you only get one. This was halfway through the game and you didn't the option to upgrade at the start of the level. You don't at the start of every level either.
Most of the levels I was getting expert without really trying as there is a steady stream of actors which generally stop once you have reached your expert amount. If goal amount is 4 and expert is 6 then generally you don't get any more than 6. However, some levels you get more. One level I didn't as I was simply not given enough people, there was waiting space but not enough actors. So I was unable to get the expert rating, I can't seem to be able to replay it either.
The map is pretty big and I thought that meant lots of levels, however there is only 4 or 5 per location, most of the 'road' is empty. Therefore the game is really quick.
After every level there is a hidden object scene, which you cannot skip. It's annoying as the items are sometimes hidden from view until you get a certain object. They don't do anything at all for the game-play and you get nothing for them. A complete waste of time.
The game feels low budget and rushed, I'm all for supporting new designers and all but not when their games are way below the standard. I suggest skipping this game.
The good
- Different idea from most time management
The bad
- Upgrade system
- Can't replay levels
- The expert system is terrible
- Less levels than it seems
- Useless hidden object scenes
I don't recommend this game.

I started playing the Drawn series as they were recommended as good adventure games. Whilst I like hidden object games I wanted to play some pure adventure games, the Drawn series are just that.
The first game is about saving Iris from the painted tower. The second game is about helping Iris defeat the wizard. This game doesn't carry on the storyline that the others have, this one is about a story Franklin tells Iris. I'm not going to give too much away so I will just leave it at that.
Like the previous game, this one is visually clear and detailed. The voice overs are very good. Each game in the series features many different puzzles which range in difficulty and aren't just copied throughout the different games. The hint button is decent, it will give a good amount a way but not so much that it tells you how to do things. If you get completely stuck on a puzzle there is a skip button but it doesn't tell you how to do the puzzle. The Collectors Edition features fun achievements, which the others did not and a very helpful guide with information on how to complete the puzzles.
Two things to mention, this game now has a function where you can hover over the edges of the screen and it shifts the screen slightly one way or another. Whilst this is a good idea the novelty quickly wore off for me as the screen was often almost bouncing around. There is an option to turn this off.
The other thing is that the game is much more animated now, with a pop up scrap book and things like that. This makes the game feel more fun but it does drag on the computer if it isn't that up to date. I have played on two computers, one older and one more recent. The more recent one had no trouble but the older one struggled in places. The screen just froze for a couple of seconds and that was it.
If you are looking for challenging and different puzzles in an adventure game then I cannot recommend the Drawn series enough, each one is great for this. If you are looking for more of a storyline in a game with some puzzles thrown in then I would recommend getting the 2nd game if you cannot or do not want to get the rest. The 2nd game explains what has happened in the 1st and the 3rd doesn't carry on the story line.
I hope there is a 4th game which follows the storyline of the 2nd.
The good
- Graphics
- Voice overs
- Fun
- Good hint system
- *CE* helpful guide which keeps up with where you are
- *CE* achievements, a bonus level (I think) and other extras
- Skip puzzles if completely stuck
The bad
- The sparkles whilst helpful don't go when you have solved the puzzle or picked up the item
- Doesn't carry on the story line for the 1st and 2nd ones
I recommend this game!

I loved the first Drawn game and this game doesn't disappoint. This story starts off from where the last one ended, it fills in most of the pieces of the series puzzle. The first game stopped abruptly whilst with this one it could be the end, even though there is a third game. I found that this game explained the back story and pretty much what happened in the first game. I found that this was a more complete game, if you are simply looking for the puzzles then the first game is just as good, however if you are looking more for the storyline then you can skip the first game. Whilst I will play the third game, this is my favourite of the series so far.
The good
- A true adventure game - not a hidden object game
- Carries on from the last game
- Can be a standalone game
- Puzzles are challenging but well thought out and most are different from the first game
- Great graphics
- The CE is worth it for me as it provides a clear guide during the game which updates as to where you are.
- Good voice overs
- Helpful hint system
- Skip button on the puzzles
The bad
- None for me
I recommend this game!

I had never tried adventure games before, although I like hidden object games I wanted to try some more adventure based but that kept the puzzles and story-lines, the Drawn series were recommend to me.
The storyline is great, it keeps you immersed in the game but doesn't give too much away. The puzzles are challenging but feature both a decent hint system and a skip button if you simply cannot do it. There are a range of different puzzles too. I also like how you can keep the objects you pick up until you don't need them any-more. So you don't need to find 15 hammers etc. I'm now off to play the next in the series!
The good:
- A true adventure game - no hidden object scenes
- The storyline
- The voice-overs
- The graphics
- The puzzles
- The hint system
- Ability to skip the puzzle
The bad
- Can be too short if you know what you are doing
I recommend this game!

History has always interested me, especially the Titanic. I wasn't expecting a great game as the ratings are low but it is good for the factual content and what it would have been like. However, I found that it lacked the fun content. The navigation left a lot to be desired, some of the puzzles were seriously hard and lacked proper instructions. Also, the storyline was somewhat good but predicable and a bit of a let down.
The good
- The graphics were clear and true to the Titanic
- The voice overs were good
- Quick hint recharge
- Includes facts about the Titanic
The bad
- The navigation system was awful and lots of back tracking needed
- Wasn't clear what you had to do, lots of hints were needed following the guide step by step
- Story was predicable and a bit of a let down
- Lacks replay value
I don't recommend this game.

Phantasmat has been a firm favourite when I first played it around a year ago and still is now. I love the story line, the voices, the mystery, the puzzles and the hidden object scenes. Everything is thought out and done very well. The different difficulties are good, they range from holding your hand to giving little to no indication of what to do. The collectors edition is worth it for me so I can easily look at the guide and the bonus chapter is fun. I find myself going back to this game whenever I don't have a new one to play. I also like the Crucible Peak game as well.
The good:
- Storyline
- Visual
- Voice overs
- Hidden object scenes
- Puzzles
- Good hint system
- Bonus chapter (CE)
- Guide in game (CE)
The bad
- The hidden object scenes can be a bit dark at times
I recommend this game!
