Now for those like me who love the more dark sided games, I guarantee this game you will love.
The Notes you will want to read for they were a good read. The art work was superb. The music was most appropriate. The characters were enjoyable and the voice and sound quality were equally as good.
I played in the expert mode and that added more of a challenge. Hidden object scenes are well done and a few were quite difficult and that adds to the play.
The length of the game was quite good and add in the Epilogue the game kept me entertained for hours.
I suspect there could be sequel.
Happy gaming should you take a leap in to the most interesting story.
I purchased this game last year and played it again this year. It is a timely game for the Holiday Season. Story based on a classic. What more could one want.
It is somewhat challenging but suitable to play and enjoy with a youngster. I think that would be fun.
They did a good job switching from past, present and future.
Of course the story in the HOG does not stay true to the classic tale but not to be expected of a HOG.
I enjoyed and will play again and again each Christmas season.
Give it a try -- fun -- not to lengthy to interfere with this busy season.
I had a whopping good time playing. . The games diary was incredibly well done. The art work was amazing, I cut the music down in all HOGS and in this game I found that I liked the music.
Puzzles are never that easy for me in any game and this one was no exception.
I never had to use the Strategy Guide -- with close attention to detail players will feel this success. It does feel like a bit of an accomplishment.
I loved the characters -- nice twist but I was on to the culprit when evidence was poo poo'd. I was pleased with myself when my assumptions proved true.
Let me add my thanks to all for bringing us this game. It played with out a hitch.
This game doesn't need yet another review but hey I don't enjoy being left out of a review. My review is simply this the game has all the pleasures in a game that we HOG lovers demand: pleasant music, spectacular art work, a story that makes some sense and the right to pick our difficulty level. All-in-one.
Being a flexible sort I adapted to "the find pieces" scenes, not my favorite I found that for most scenes I could locate the pieces without looking at what you needed to find. I turned this into my own personal challenge. Give it a try.
Locating morphing objects is always one of my favorite features. This game supplied a bit of challenge which I liked.
This game really could be played without the SG the only requirement would be to allow yourself a shot of patience.
Thanks to Blue Tea Games, not to be confused with Tea Party, and BF for bringing this to me.
Not my favorite from Vast however it was not a bad way to spend an after noon.
This game was not at all challenging. It left me with a feeling that it was hurried to final release. Of course I just finished MCF: Escape from Ravenhearst and that game was a hard act to follow so perhaps I was expecting to much.
All in all it really is a good play and I appreciate that the game was there for me today.
The game had some glitches but easy to over come. I think the music was relevant but not my favorite tune. The art work was just fine. Hidden object scenes were not difficult.
I spent an afternoon playing and enjoyed. Should you choose to purchase I hope you a good play as well.
Return once more to the haunted grounds of Ravenhearst Manor to uncover new details about this poignant saga. What you find could very well be the final chapter of this riveting story-if you escape.
Enjoyed this most challenging to date MCF game. The team had to have fun developing this creative masterpiece, that fact came through.
The game had all the features I could ask for -- I love morphing objects in a game so they turned a traditional hidden object scene in to finding all the morph objects in the scene. There were other well placed morphs in other locations.
There were not those dreaded sparkles, no hints outside of a hidden object scene. The player was made to pay attention in each scene.
I might add that because the player had to spend more time in the morph hidden object scenes it added more difficulty to the play. I would find that I was forced in to more memory recall -- this was desirable for a more challenging frustrating game play.
The puzzles were not easy to solve.
True to an MCF game experience there was snarky and hilarious comments through out.
This is a game like 13th Skull and Dire Grove that I will enjoy over and over.
While this is not a game I would recommend for a new player to hidden object games it is one the new player should aspire to play.
Teenagers and the adult who enjoys the frustrating, the disgusting yet very entertaining play will find it all in this game.
BTW I loved the length of the game. I played for hours over three days. Thank you.
Good work MCF and BF. I can barely wait for the next production.
Oh how I wish I could have met a live Elder Thing. I felt so sorry for them.
I truly felt the icy cold. It has an intriguing story. Art work remarkable, programming superb. Music relevant. The voice of one of the male characters truly added to the game.
Be prepared to be challenged but once you get into the game it becomes more intuitive. I swear I was lost a number of times then that is, for me, what keeps me playing HOG's.
It was not always obvious how to open doors the game has an Advice as well as Hint. to assist the player.
HOG scenes were well done but not difficult.
Like many HOG's there is just times when nuances of the game are not intuitive, lacks logic, story may seem disconnected or incomplete but while all this seems frustrating this game still drew me in as a player. I truly enjoyed and if you decide to play I hope you will too.
