Being a huge fan of imperial Island and having purchased the previous 3 games in this series, I was really excited when I discovered the release of the next chapter. What a huge let down! What was once a winning formula has been changed to fit in with all the other 'humdrum' match 3 games, nothing special here folks! A very annoying tutorial, that pops up at the start of levels, poor graphics, poor gameplay, and my pet hate, limited moves!! Really disappointing guys .... why did they change a winning formula?
We are back in the lands of the lost, and thank goodness!! After a few weeks of repetitive, mundane game release's, Lost Lands: Mistakes of the Past, comes as a refreshing and much needed change from the norm of late. The developers have smashed the graphics and gameplay, interestingly taking us back to a time when Maaron was a bit of a nasty!! I love this series, the storylines are refreshing, the gameplay excellent, and the puzzles just enough to keep the players interest. I love the standard collectables of the CE, even if they are a little easy to find (a hand appears when you scroll the pointer over one). This was a definite purchase for me before I even looked at the demo. Other Dev's take note, this is how you deliver a great game!!
I really enjoyed the first London Calling and was full of enthusiasm when I discovered a new addition to the series ... however ... I'm a little disappointed. I'm only half way through the game but there seems very little reference to 'London' at all. The original London Calling game had you running all over the city, with Big Ben a pivotal part of play. There is a distinct similarity to Mystery Tales in gameplay even down to glasses which allow you to see hidden paraphernalia. The graphics are wonderful, clear and crisp and gameplay is smooth with some new puzzles to wet our appetites. I really wish gameplay had kept me interested enough to get lost in the plot ...
Wow!! This game has everything you could want. It's new 'inventive' storyline strays from those mundane games of the past few weeks. Graphics are amazing and locations are fab. The storyline leads you on a steampunk adventure throughout Europe, meeting interesting great inventors along the way. Artifax Mundi has just upped the anti in gameplay!

I love the fantasy games and I was thrilled to see another Endless Fables release. There are better games of this genre out there but this kept my interest and was an enjoyable way to fill in an evening.
