I purchased the collectors edition after playing the free trial. I have played these kind of adventure hidden object games for a very long time and Do Games have really improved their games so well that I buy DO Games now which is something I never did years ago, but I'm still not a fan of the annoying stars and the high amount of puzzles. The puzzles themselves are great and the challenge level is good too, but almost every action you click on has a puzzle attached to it and too many puzzles takes away from the game play because you have to stop constantly and figure out a puzzle before you can move forward then you lose concentration on what you are/were doing. For me the stars do absolutely nothing for the game or the game play except just being annoying. It would really be nice if DO Games would just give us the option to turn off the stars.

This was an automatic buy for me because of the series it is and the game dev, but whoever made the strategy guide did a horrible job. I always use the guide to make sure I find all the collectibles and they didn't put the scenes in order correctly and a couple of the instructions were put together incorrectly. Still a good game from one of my favorite series and one of my favorite game developer.

When Elephant Games releases a new game it's usually an automatic buy for me. 'It Happened Here' is one of my favorite new game series. Graphics, game play & story line for this game were perfect like always in Elephant Games. Good balance of puzzles & HO's. I love the straight forward detective type game that this game is. No fantasy type stuff in the game, just a more realistic type mystery detective game is what I like and that's exactly what this game and the other games in this series is.

I've played all of the games in this series and loved them. I bought this game because of the title and I didn't even demo it first because the Hidden Expedition Series is one of my favorite game series. The colors, graphics, and story line were really good in this new game, but I could tell right off the bat that Eipix Entertainment did Not develop this one. Domino did a great job developing this game, but this game just didn't have that Eipix touch like the other games in this series had.
A New Hidden Expedition Game! Love this series! Eipix is one of my favorite game developers. I'm not sure why others complain so much about the back & forth because all you have to do is follow a walkthrough and it will limit a lot of back & forth in the game. I'm a big fan of walkthrough's because I don't want to miss anything and walkthrough's help to understand the game better sometimes. For me, the back and forth makes it fun and there is usually always a map to use.
I bought this game without playing the demo but with all the hype I expected it to be much better than it was. There were way too many puzzles and a lot of them did not make sense and not enough interaction. A lot of the items that needed to be collected also made no sense. Much of the items and game seemed just scattered with no rhyme or reason to it. I was really disappointed and did Not like it.
