In this installment be ready to face most dangerous and merciless pirate of year 1863 in Sea of Lies: Tide of Treachery Collector's Edition. This cruel monster is not a man but a woman – her name is Rebecca Lowe and a huge reward is promised for her head. No one was able to get this reward for now, instead Rebecca, also known as the Sea Ripper, robbed and destroyed dozens of Royal ships on her path. Last victim of Sea Ripper was HMS Mary Rose, bringing gold, essential for the crown. The Royal Navy lost their patients and sent Duke of Reddington with the ship to get rid of Sea Ripper, but Rebecca destroyed the ship and killed Duke. And now you’re taking his place, trying to catch her! This adventure continues excellent traditions of the series, but it isn't my personal favorite. As a reviewer of Hidden Object Puzzle Adventure genre I think that Sea of Lies Four delivers a "good story" and "great look" to the Puzzle genre. The Bonus Chapter about the secret of the Sea Ripper was a deciding factor on choosing CE over SE version. Also includes chapters with many unexpected twists, excellent sound effects, intriguing encouraging descant, lovable high-resolution graphic arts, and entrancing quest with rare and loads of various storyline problems, so play it and enjoy! Great for all player levels...
This is the 6th installment of the Witches' Legacy Franchise. In this edition you play the role of Edward "Lynn's husband". I was thrilled with the reversal since I am male and tire of always being in the feminine character. This time Evil Morgana curses Lynn and her mother Carrie and you have to save Lynn from the other side and cleanse the world of evil. Not an easy task in the least. Appearances made by some of your favorites, both friend and foe include.... *Imp "who helps you 14 times" *Wolfgang *Elizabeth "Wolfgang's sister who was changed to a witch in one of the first installments" *Mathias the Evil Warlock *Thetis Evil Witch *Morgana Queen Witch The gameplay is incredible with awesome graphics, and excellent sound/SFX.The back story of the series is revealed nicely as you go, so even if you haven't played any of the previous games, you don't feel like you're missing anything too important. I have all 6 of these releases, someday I will binge play all of them. This one really exceeded my expectations!
The successfully solved case began piling up which turned you into a perfect candidate to tackle what awaits at the Crescent Carnival. The vibrant carnival surrounding gives off an unsettling impression that there’s something covertly amiss about the murder, but it’s initially impossible to discern what. Armed with seasoned wits and experience, you’re to find your way through smoke and mirrors. Embark down the path of the twisted illusions and trickery and do not believe what your eyes can see. Someone poisoned the man on the hill near the Carnival (its all about evidence). When the victim died, the murderer moved his dead body down the hill to the front gate. There are no witnesses and not enough clues about murderer’s identity. Victim was one of the carnival season employees, but everyone at the carnival including manager Eduard Grimwell denies knowing him. You will have to dig deep to find murder weapon and uncover the motive of the crime. Maybe personnel of the Crescent Carnival are hiding something terrible? This edition has good visuals, voice acting, and yesteryear theme. You soon learn about your evidence kit and how to question the carnival suspects. Who is lying and who is telling the truth is repeated throughout the adventure. Did you know Dead Reckoning is a 1947 Columbia Pictures film noir starring Humphrey Bogart? Makes me wonder if the movie inspired this trilogy? Anyway I enjoyed the murder mystery, yet it isn't my favorite edition of the three installments.

The story and gameplay of this great SE really won my heart. Inseparable from childhood, Aiden and Alison were like brother and sister, and Alison’s sudden illness was a huge blow for Aiden. Nobody could diagnose the cause, and as the doctors threw up their hands in dismay, the girl withered with each passing day. It wasn’t until Alison was too weak to get up from her bed that she chanced sharing with Aiden her secret - that she was the Queen of Magical Realm, a realm inaccessible to rationally thinking grownups. Help the brave boy complete the six kingdoms of the Magical Realm and save Queen Alison and her faithful servants, enslaved by a dark sorcerer named Ashton, to not only restore her reign, but also her life in the seventh kingdom - our world. You will have help on this path: the Amulet of Worlds to serve as a portal connecting the edges of reality, and a small Goblin to squeeze into places no human could. Defeat the Evil villain Ashton and save the day in this LONG playing fantasy adventure.

Take on the role of Willa to untangle the conspiracy no matter what in this classy Adventure Hidden Object Puzzle Game! The graphics aren't big budget, but the story and game play are!
It not only has startling quests and ritzy opportunities but also loads of thrilling sublevels and meeds. This edition will excite the player's imagination from the beginning to the finale and will bring pleasure into your subsistence! I also recommend Spirit of Revenge: Cursed Castle. Eager beavers of point-and-click Adventure / Puzzle / Hidden Object genre will like this one...
This game was an insta-buy for me from the moment I saw its story. I love something new, and Beyond: Light Advent delivers. Set in the 1950s, in a retro age where UFOs and the fascination towards space and aliens is high, the game puts you in the shoes of Diana, who has an imaginary alien friend since she was little – Nix. It’s only when she becomes and adult that she learns that Nix is not at all an imaginary friend, but a real alien who is telepathically communicating with her: and now he has a warning about the evil Alien World Eaters who are planning to attack and destroy the Earth. With the help of your (real) alien friend, you have to explore a charming world set in the 50s and use your wits and skills to save the planet from total destruction! The story is indeed refreshing and new and I would consider it quite welcome and enough of a reason to get the game. Of course, the gameplay has to be solid too, but it’s good to know that this epic sci-fy adventure is created by the same people who brought the Rite of Tales series, so you know that you are in for a treat. The hidden object scenes are varied and nice, from silhouette guessing to classic list finds and “find 5 x items” types of games, plus the nice mechanic of finding crystals for creating bridges and restoring memories. The scenes themselves are challenging and masterfully drawn and you will love going through them. You also have various sets of minigames, with puzzles being challenging enough to have you scratching your head a few times: you have maze puzzles, matching puzzles and even dexterity puzzles (you have to drive a motorcycle, for example) and they’ll keep you busy and entertained. Visually, the game is pure eye candy(and so is Nix). It does seem a bit dark every now and then, but the details are still easy to be seen and you will get used with the less bright settings. Especially if you like all things retro and the feel of the 50s, you will love the looks of the game, as well as the soundtrack and voices. Move your cursor out of the way to fully enjoy the cut scenes. All in all, Beyond: Light Advent is an adorable game, one you’ll fall in love with from the first moment and one that, just as it happens with a good book, you won’t be able to put down until you reach the end. So get started: Earth needs a savior and it has to be you!

You, Archibald, Alexander and your mother Elizabeth will have to use all your talents to defeat him and restore order! Whether you ignore the graphic effects or your whole existence is devoted to design and graphics of Hidden Object, Adventure computer games, you can't stay indifferent to the tremendous videosequence of Shrouded Tales 2: Revenge of Shadows Collector's Edition. In this edition there are undreamt-of tasks for you as you go on your main mission. Even though the use of an amulet is a repeated theme from similar adventures, this epic game is truly an atmospheric experience I enjoyed from the commencement to the galvanic conclusion. I highly recommend both!!!
I recommend this game!

This genre has evolved insanely in the past few years and hopefully they will be able to keep on delivering innovative concepts and amazing titles and Subliminal Realms is at the top of my list. It's mesmerizing and captivating both in story and execution. I loved the progress and advances – and you'll get the most out of everything in this point-and-click ground breaker. A brilliant, must have hidden object adventure game! The story itself is haunting and beautiful at the same time: the game tells the story of Albert, a successful painter who starts having nightmares about a strange female monster he decides to name Solitude. One day, the nightmares come to life when Solitude manages to exit the dreams world and kidnaps Albert’s family, taking them inside a painting. So you have to go deep into the paintings – armed with nothing but your wits and a paintbrush – and save your family before it’s too late. A really good story that makes me remember the great Robin Williams movie What Dreams May Come.
But it’s not just the story that makes Subliminal Realms: The Masterpiece a must play game! The graphics and all visuals you’ll encounter are absolutely breathtaking and, simply put, wonderful. Bright colors and amazing art – that’s what you’re going to get during your LONG adventure, in a world that’s both mad and beautiful, both creepy and heartwarming at the same time. And you can rarely say something similar about the graphics in today’s games. The gameplay is delightfully pleasant as well and you will also get a pretty lengthy game compared to what you’re used with in the hidden object world. The hidden object scenes themselves are really unique and different from other games, they force you to keep an open mind and open your eyes to find the objects – a real challenge sometimes, without it being frustrating or draining to your eyes. It’s not just the HoS that come like a fresh breath of air in The Masterpiece, but the minigames too, which are original and creative, smart and fun to play, offering just as much of a challenge as it is needed for you to spend a while on them, but without them being horribly difficult. The Collector’s Edition that I am reviewing today also comes with a Strategy Guide, the option to replay mini-games, achievements and paintings to unlock and paint as well as a secret game… so there’s quite a lot on offer from this already charming game. I look forward to more psychological thrillers from this developer. Thank you Bigfish!
Kathleen’s beloved Danny has been arrested under strange circumstances and accused of murder. It’s up to Kathleen to hold her own investigation and find out what really happened.
In this SE adventure you play Kathleen, an attorney whose boyfriend Danny has been framed for murder. Danny has been searching for an ancient Indian Totem, which hasn't been an easy task since it consists of several pieces hidden somewhere in the past. This is an incredible story that takes you back in time to the year 1913. Travel thru time to ultimately clear Danny and reunite a lost child with father. A very compelling story that kept me playing almost 6 hours. No voice acting but it wasn't necessary. The twisting plot of the story and graphics kept me captivated to the end. I loved it. I also recommend these titles by the same developer... -Portal of Evil Stolen Runes -Shadows Price of Our Sins

Labyrinths of the World: Forbidden Muse is the follow up to Labyrinths of the World: Shattered Soul, but it doesn't measure up to the first installment. Your quest is to help a Muse named Calliope restore her soul. Her soul has been split into 3 pieces in 3 locations. You encounter a man named Owen who yields an Amulet that opens the locations. You soon begin to wonder if Owen wants to help you retrieve the 3 essences (pieces# of her soul or does he have other plans? Along the journey you acquire a magic paintbrush to create life, a tuning fork to disperse evil, and a book to banish creatures. With your side kick Harlequin #a weird little doll you change clothes/gear) who helps you retrieve inventory, you progress thru each location. It's not a new story, but I did enjoy it. I just enjoyed Shattered Soul more. CE bling is the usual with collectable olive branches and coins, extras, ect. Bonus Chapter is not relative. In hind sight I would have chosen the SE version. Demo before purchasing.
