This sequel was an instabuy for me. A Death grip of cold is coming to your kingdom from Nypha, so you will have to travel there and use your fire-wielder medallion to remove the icy curse from Princess of Nypha! Dark Realm 2: Princess of Ice CE and SE. Created by the twisted and incredible imagination of Mad Head Games. Get ready to embark on a remarkable journey as you play the role of Queen Valera in search of a runaway princess who poses as a boy and steals a Magic Saber in the quest against evil. With the help of a young apprentice named Borivor who sacrifices his human form to also aid in saving the princess, Chob'Ahn the wizard, and Myrina your spiritual guide, you make your way to the Den of Awakening. There King Iret awaits you and HE IS THE ONLY ONE WHO KNOWS HOW TO COMPLETE THE SABER AND RELEASE IT'S POWER.
You: Who are you? What are you doi…
Bear: You must get to the princess, or we’re all doomed!
You: What’s happening? Where did this snow come from? What’s going on? It’s never snowed in my kingdom before!
You: I just had the strangest dream! The bear’s mark is glowing! Oh, and didn’t it drop a bracelet around here? It’s that bracelet the bear left on my bed! Soon your magic bracelet becomes a Frozen Claw which has many uses thru the course of the quest. Drag and connect gems of same color to destroy objects game (which gains different uses of the Frozen Claw). It's big at around four or more hours long for the average play, it's gorgeous with beautifully illustrated characters and environments, and it's packed with puzzles, mini-games, and cut scenes galore. Admittedly, there are times when the game might lean a bit too hard on gimmicks over actual thinky puzzles, such as repeatedly having you time clicks to hit a certain section of a circle to succeed at acts of skill throughout the game, but there's just so much going on it's hard to really mind. Backtracking exists but is happily kept to a minimum, and the game moves you to new locations often enough that it always keeps your interest. This is an terrific follow up to the Dark Realm: Queen of Flames.
I recommend this game!

It rarely happens for me to care so much about characters and especially their love stories when playing a hidden object game, but somehow Nevertales: Legends managed to hit the right chord in my soul and I absolutely loved it! The game tells the story of true, real love, love that gets bigger than tradition, war, love that changes the world. And eventually, love that forces you to get out of your comfort zone, put away your delicate Queenie shoes and hop onto the ride of your lifetime: the adventure to save your beloved husband and the entire kingdom. Nevertales: Legends throws you straight into a spider’s web of love and hope, of wisdom and strength, of trust and treachery, of overcoming your fears. It rarely happens for a game to develop the story as much as this one does and even fewer manage to make you care, really care about the outcome of your adventure, about its characters and the fantasy world you’re exploring.
But fortunately it doesn’t focus on creating the story and background and ignores gameplay. On the contrary – the hidden object scenes you’ll encounter are charming and well done, there are Morphing Objects for you, as well as different approaches – from interactive list finds to using flowers to draw in butterflies hidden throughout the scenes. The minigames are well made as well, varying in difficulty and getting slightly more difficult to complete as you progress through the game – and depending on your skills, some will really test your ability to stay calm and power not to click that skip button! And talking about a “Skip” button – there are different difficulty levels you can choose from (Seeker, Adventurer, Trailblazer and Custom) as well as a ton of goodies to make a Collector’s Edition a worthwhile purchase: Achievements, which also come with a nice approach being divided based on the difficulty to get them (don’t forget, if you are an Achievement Hunter, you MUST play and complete the Demo first before purchasing the game), collectibles that unlock a new chapter, replayable hidden object scenes and mini games, strategy guide, wallpapers and so on. Good value for the extra money you’d spend – not to mention the Morphing objects! The bottom left of the game has a collectible icon showing you have found all in the medallions in a scene. You’ll get a Map from the beginning, as well as Hank the companion: your husband’s brother, who has the ability to morph into a Crow and get into the most difficult to get to places. You also have the Ring of Fire that protects you from fire-related dangers and gives you some new strengths that will prove extremely useful throughout your adventure – one that carries you to different amazing places.
The graphics are crystal clear – without having to do anything with the curse in the game’s story – and the artwork is extremely charming. The animations are great too and there will be some really nice surprises waiting for you along the way. The sound and soundtrack manage to add value to the whole product, the result being an exceptional love story adventure, one that you will love. At least I did and I wholeheartedly recommend it!

The famous Haunted Hotel franchise is back with a brand-new, thrilling installment! During the past several years, Northern Oregon has constantly been plagued with wildfires/ Are these the work of the legendary Phoenix or the product of an arsonist? Project Eternity is back with a new villain - Duke Callahan. Now it's up to you with the occasional assistance of fellow Detective James to help save Steven the scientist. Only Steven knows the chemistry secrets to the newest Project Eternity (immortality) but you'll have to defeat Duke Callahan, a hypnotist, and a slew of puzzles and unique hidden objects scenarios. It's a fast paced thriller with a great story, and delivers over 4 hours of gameplay with Bonus Chapter. Bonus Chapter is not relative to the main game but is a fun addition. I recommend Haunted Hotel Eternity CE too since we first learn of Project Eternity in that adventure. Casual gamers of all levels are sure to enjoy this edition. Thanks Big Fish!

This was an insta-buy for me. Your objective is to defeat sorcerer Isa and the evil force standing behind him in Spirits of Mystery 5: Chains of Promise CE or SE Edition. Isa decided to take power over the kingdom of the Black Unicorn by marrying its princess Adele and killing her father afterwards. Firstly he put a curse on her and when her father asks someone for help the curse is removed in exchange of a promise to arrange their marriage. And now, when the marriage is tomorrow, he’s preparing something devious to kill the king right after it! Adele is your BEST FRIEND so you have no choice but to face Isa and his dark master! This installment is an awesome adventure. I thought the graphics, puzzles, hos, and voice overs were spot on! Incredible game play for anyone and everyone! I loved it!

This time Vatican sent you to Spain where inquisition gone to the birds. At least not whole Inquisition but one particular inquisitor – Brother Augustine in the small isolated village called Portonero. It’s 13th century so it’s almost normal to be obsessed with witch hunts and burn any beautiful girl alive, but… just almost. You were sent there to stop him, but are you brave enough for this assignment! Augustine won’t just give up and he is a trained swordsman just as you are. Can you win the battle, or you will be killed or even burned as a warlock? Seek out the evil witch (wolf queen) Miguela and destroy her plans. Along the journey you meet a host of character's who ask you to complete several quest's, most notable is finding Diego, the son of Delores. Delores is the wife of the sheriff who is murdered by the insane Inquisitor at the beginning of your journey. The story really begins to draw you in when you reach this chapter of the journey. I found this edition not only enigmatical and a divine ride, but included more than enough stunning sublevels, encouraging sound and pleasing to the eye art scenes. Though Where Angels Cry 2: Tears of the Fallen is a pretty standard Adventure / Puzzle game, it includes lots of grand features that will hale your attention. The combiner feature of collecting several pieces to make up an inventory item was clever, even if it's been done before. I enjoyed this lengthy adventure and look forward to playing the 1st installment Where Angels Cry next...

In this edition you face the ultimate threat for mankind, coming from the polar ice in Mystery Trackers: Winterpoint Tragedy SE or CE! When connection with the arctic research lab called Winterpoint Station, where researches of utter importance were provided, was broken, Mystery Trackers send an agent. Strangely it wasn’t you – it was your colleague Agent Shade. And shortly after she arrived you received a distress call from her, where shadowy figures were taking her away! Now you and Elf are going to land onto snow that wasn’t melted for thousands of years to face ancient creatures, vile and intelligent. They are Cold Stalkers (some kind of Alien race) and you must save the world from DEEP FREEZE. Assist Agent Shade and Professor Loyd in this fast paced, action packed adventure full of twists and subplot. I love this series and have played them all. The graphics could have been executed better, but the storyline is captivating and the Bonus Chapter in the CE version is a nice conclusion to the entire game. It doesn't matter if you haven't played the other games in this series. This is a great one to start with leading the casual gamer into the world of Mystery Tracker. Good Luck and Enjoy!!!

This is the third game in the Whispered Secrets series, Golden Silence and a game I have to talk about! The previous two have been of really high quality and you should not be surprised to hear that this one follows the same route. Even though story-wise, it doesn’t bring tons of originality to the table, I know that most hidden object adventures follow the same patterns and this particular one manages to do it best in the trilogy. When Bill Turner’s wife hires you to find her missing husband in a mysterious mining town, it’s pretty obvious that you have some real digging to do! It’s not clear what happened to the man, but it’s pretty obvious that the mayor and townspeople are clearly trying to hide something – and they ever send somebody on your trail. It’s a difficult situation, but I’m sure you’re not a person who’s afraid of a little challenge. Plus, you certainly have some mystery solving skills already, and this story needs a happy ending – one that you can bring! Even though the story itself has been said in the past, in a a way or another, Whispered Secrets: Golden Silence manages to come with a nice approach and the adventure itself is really enjoyable. You can make it as difficult as you want it to bee, with three different difficulty modes (and a custom mode, if that’s not enough for you) and, no matter what you choose, you will surely have a ton of fun doing it. I enjoy custom mode. The hidden object scenes are beautiful and varied (but in case you’re, for some reason, not a fan, you can play Match-3 games instead) with most of them being interactive list finds. The puzzles and mini-games are aplenty and challenging enough to increase the play time a little bit and offer much needed variety: from dexterity to moving/sliding puzzle variation and even some logic puzzles, it's got a bit of everything and the developers prove that they did their best to keep us as entertained as possible. The graphics are absolutely beautiful: a mixture between realistic and cartoonish, they are colorful and bright, with the mining theme being exploited to the maximum and turned into real eye candy. Surprisingly, even the soundtrack and all the voice acting are really good, which is something you don’t normally get from hidden object games. This is another proof, in my opinion, that the people behind Whispered Secrets did their best to offer us some real quality. Even though not insanely original or revolutionary, this title manages to do everything just right and it’s all in the small touches: from the beautiful artwork to gameplay elements and concepts (like the helper, for example, which doesn’t bother you at all and, well, really helps!), it's all here in the game. The Collector’s Edition also comes with more gameplay time in terms of new adventures, as well as achievements, wallpapers, team photos and collectibles. All these make it a great deal for your money, so you should really not ignore the CE if you have the money for the upgrade. I enjoyed the bonus chapter, but it isn't relative to the main story. This edition is my favorite and fans of the series will get to love as soon as they start playing!
I recommend this game!

Mystery Tales opens up with a well-made but not very exciting cut scene introducing the story that we are about to witness. In this edition it's up to you to save your poor sister Ellie in Mystery Tales: Alaskan Wild CE. She was kidnapped by potential mother-in-law, Miss Abigail. During the family dinner Miss Abigail revealed her dark nature and used snowy magic to freeze you and her own son Daniel. Then she hypnotized Ellie and took her away to the place of power. All of this is happening in Alaska, so even without demonic deeds Ellie can just freeze to death! You and Daniel will have to save her, but first you will have to weaken the witch – Miss Abigail! To do so, you will have to break ancient totems and free animal spirits trapped inside. Gather forces of animal spirits and save Ellie before she will be sacrificed by Miss Abigail in this awesome Puzzle Adventure Hidden Object Game! While moving through blithe Mystery Tales: Alaskan Wild game from beginning to ending you will be tied to your chair. Excellent lip sync and graphics demonstrate what an incredible effort the developers worked to achieve in this exciting dramatic HOPA. The bonus game was really cool too. Hidden Object, Puzzle, Adventure principles of Mystery Tales 3: Alaskan Wild is hidden underneath colossal adventure. Players of any level will relish with this emotive and fast paced story.

Driving to the Peaceful Hill Motel is less than peaceful to say the least. It’s pretty scare to awaken in the room you never seen before, filled with deadly puzzles you need to solve to find a way out, and in Maze: Subject 360 Collector's Edition Horror Game it’s only the beginning of your dreadful trials! A child’s voice will tell you what to do, what scary experience you are going to get next and soon you will start to despise her. She’s calling you Subject 360 and always laughing when you’re trying to find out, what happened with previous subjects. And you will understand, why she’s laughing, when you will get to the cemetery filled with thumbs of previous subjects. Dare to embark on this psychological thriller to avoid a grave with your name on it in this MATURE Adventure Hidden Object Puzzle! This is destined to be a cult classic in the Big fish catalog. The quest is LONG and disturbing just the way I like this kind of adventure. Not for the faint of heart, and I hope that reviewer's will be respectful and not disclose any spoilers!
