I loved Farmscapes because it was such a departure from the serious, often very dark, HOG's available at the time. I enjoyed Gardenscapes too but when the Mansion ones came along it was just too much of the same thing. If you haven't played any of the series, you will love this game!! For me, there just wasn't anything new and it was therefore boring. You could have at least varied the interior for us. Overall, I like this game and if it was my first game of this series, I would be loving it and would buy it for sure.
I already own the first Park Ranger and I was confident this would be just as good. There was no disappointment, this game has HO scenes with some breathtaking backgrounds. Some of the mini-games are challenging and the variety of them means you will never get bored. You can replay a level to get a higher score.
There is one major flaw in the game - and it's an important one - it makes it extremely difficult to stop when you need to go to bed or work. <grin>
Try it and you will buy it, buy it and you will love it!
I tried this and within 10 minutes I knew it was one for my library. There isn't much story but if you like to do HOG scenes you'll be thrilled with this game. Each level has 3 types of objects to find. There is a good challenge to find all the discarded recyclables. I loved the variety of mini games and some are quite challenging (for a 62yr old grandmother anyway) If puzzles help protect our brains from aging, this game is sure to keep you young.
The storyline for this game really got my attention. Try to spend $1M wisely and quickly. I thought I was going to have a great time choosing what to buy so imagine my disappointment when the "shopping" was finding obscure hidden objects in different stores that were selling items for the most part under $20! The items were difficult to see and hardly the type of things I would choose to buy e.g. Welder's Mask, Hair Dryer and a Hula Girl Doll for my car dash?!?!
I was extremely disappointed in this game, the storyline is such an interesting one but the reality is just not what one would expect based on the description.
I don't recommend this game.

I love this game and bought it when the trial was over. Unlike the Build A Lot games, you are able to build on what you have already done so you actually see progress. It was easy to learn but challenging to keep track of Revenue vs Expenditure and Building Supplies. The daily goal could be a bit more challenging or a progressive degree of challenge.
I bought this before I even finished the trial period and was really sad to see it end. I am also disappointed that there aren't more games like this.
I tried this second Awakening came thinking that I may not have given the first one a real chance. I had the same result, I really did not like this. There isn't enough help, hints are no real help at all. There isn't really any guidance as to what is required in each level. I admit I'm not an experienced HOG player but I just don't want to have to work this hard when I'm playing.
The graphics are incredible, actually liked that aspect of it.
The graphics and story line are certainly very good but the game play is much too slow. This isn't the type of game I usually play, HOG's are my favorite, so it may be the speed normally is at this pace. I would certainly recommend that you try this game for yourself..

This is a fairly good game IF you like this type. If I am going to build, or farm, or search for treasure I want to build on my work. I don't want to start over in every new scene or level but there must be many who do. The graphics are great, the pace is quick and the instructions clear. If I play a farm game I want to expand and grow by the work I'm doing not because I finished a task or level. If this is the type of game you like, you will love it, if you like challenge it will disappoint you for sure.
I guess I would give this game a qualified recommendation.
